An Important Update

When I first started writing The Infamous Spider-Man it was just a project I did for fun while I worked on my main novels, I didn't plan on it getting an audience and having viewers come back to it weekly. I'm super happy that this novel has gotten positive reception and people seem to be enjoying it so far! Around chapter 6 or 7 I started getting more serious about the book, putting more thought and effort into chapters and posting more frequently. I had always planned on revising the earlier chapters, but now I have a plan of how I intend to do it.

Recently I received a review of this book that had really insightful critiques that helped me understand where I need to improve the earlier sections of the story. I won't edit them yet though, there's a certain point in the novel that I think is a good time to take a break and revise some things; that will be in about 5 chapters from the most recently posted one. Without spoiling anything, we're reaching the midpoint of this novel (I'm aiming for fifty or so chapters) and soon there will be a big time skip. When that happens I will be rewriting chapters 1 through 5, with full revisions and minor changes to improve the story's flow and pacing.

I know there's people who enjoy the story as is, and that's okay. I will have the original drafts still in my hard drive in case the new versions are disliked. In that case I'd swap it back. Either way, I hope you guys enjoy the new chapters and the revisions, the next chapter: #20 Infamous will be dropping soon!
