Later in the night, everyone had gone to their various rooms at the hostel.
The girls had also gone to their rooms. They were unable to return back to the Alphas hideout. They were disturbed.
Blessing was in her own room, lying on the bed. She was facing the ceiling, lost in thought.
The news of Almoron has spoilt both she and her friends mood.
How where they going to handle her?
Blessing was focused on the ceiling. She began to see things like darkness around the room.
Fear gripped her, when she saw a dark hand,coming out from the ceiling.
She saw a red eye,looking at fiercely.
Blessing wanted to scream.
"Blessing!!!
Blessing!! ",a deep voice called.
"No.. Leave me!! ",she shouted.
The deep voices continued to call her, as its hand almost touched her.
In fear, Blessing screamed and tried to push the hand away.
"Ouch!!!
Do you want to blind me? ",Aunty Onome screamed.
Blessing's eyes became clear, and she saw that she had fallen into a trance unknown to her.
"I was calling you, but you were acting weird.
Has the cleaning of the store room made you crazy, that you couldn't even recognize me? ",Aunty Onome asked, while rubbing her eyes.
"Sorry.. I didn't know. I must have had a terrible dream",Blessing said, sitting up.
She sighed and folded her arms.
After rubbing and treating her eyes, Aunty Onome looked at Blessing and found her little cousin dull.
She wondered what happened to her today.
She walked up to her and sat down beside her.
"Are you okay Blessing? ",she asked.
Blessing hummed "Hmmm..."
"Hmmmm?
So is that a yes or a no? ",Aunty Onome asked with a smile on her face.
Blessing shrugged her shoulders and said, "I don't know"
"You're not serious o.
I asked you a question and you said you don't know.
I was right when I said the store room is giving you mental problem ",Aunty Onome said, as she rose up from the bed.
"That's not true! ",Blessing frowned at her.
Aunty Onome walked up to the book shelf in the room. She took a book, and walked back to Blessing's side.
She sat close to Blessing and said, showing Blessing the book, "If you like.. think from now till tomorrow,i don't care. I even like it. At least you won't disturb me again ".
She cackled like a crazy woman,while opening the book.
Blessing gasped and said, squeezing her face at her, "So you're happy that I'm dull right?
You don't care at all? "
Aunty Onome looked at her, shrugged her shoulder and nodded.
"Hmm... ",she hummed.
"Hmm..?
Is that suppose to be a Yes or a No? ",Blessing asked.
"Ask yourself that question. Is it not the same question that I asked you? ".
Aunty Onome hissed and laughed at Blessing.
Blessing groaned and said, looking at the book that Aunty Onome was reading, "In that case... "
She collects the book.
"..you won't read this book again"
"Hey come on!!
I was reading that",Aunty Onome said. Trying to grab the book.
Blessing stood up quickly. She checked the book and saw that it was one of her story book. The one she wrote.
She gasped and said, "You don't care about me,..but you know how to read someone's story
Well done o".
"I care about the book more than you. Now bring it ",Aunty Onome said and chased Blessing round the room.
Blessing jumped on the bed and began to shake her buttocks. So as to annoy Aunty Onome.
As soon as she turned to face Aunty Onome, a pillow came flying towards her. The pillow blasted Blessing's face and the book fell down.
Aunty Onome laughed at her, and picked the book.
She said,"That serves you right.
The next one will be a beating from me to you"
She sits on the bed.
Blessing sits close to her.
"I want to read this story before next week. I'm still at the beginning where the lions told the Nature Queens about Drisezz"
"Slow reader. You better read fast oh",Blessing teased her.
As Aunty Onome was reading, alongside with Blessing, something immediately triggered Blessing's mind.
In the story, Beauty, Christy, Derby and Emmy never knew Drisezz.
Although they had their powers right from small. They had never fought any battle before. But once the lions told them about Drisezz and her monsters, the four girls were ready to fight.
Blessing's mind went to Faith.
She remembered what she said, about she and the others, being able to defeat Almoron.
"The Nature Queens have never fought any battle before. Until they found out about Drisezz. Even when they came face to face with her, they weren't afraid",she thought to herself.
She stood up and walked up to the window. She looked at the sky and thought about the first Alphas.
How they began and the kind of battles that they had faced, before Almoron arrived and destroyed them.
After thinking about it,she took her phone and messaged the others.
"We'll have to discuss before the orientation begins.
It's very important ".she typed and sent it.
In a minute, she received a reply from the others.
"No problem ",Treasure texted.
"Okay then ",Gracious texted.
"Got it ",Christiana texted.
"Kk",Adeola texted.
"By God's grace ",Ife texted.
"Okay. See you tomorrow ",Ganiyat texted.
"Okidoki
Meaning 'ok'",Abigail texted.
Blessing kept the phone down.
She smiled broadly, and hoped for everything to go well tomorrow.
Finally, it was the D day. The whole staffs were dressed in a golden and black outfit.
The students were looking nice in their own dresses.
Ella and Hannah were looking like models. They wanted to look stunning and attractive,than any other person.
Ella and Hannah stood at the entrance of the hall,welcoming the invitees.
The hall became full. But more people were coming.
Madam Elizabeth, who stood in front of her office watching, from upstairs, rejoiced happily.
She was putting on a long dress. Just like all this rich women. She was ready for action.
"Finally, I'm going to show all those people that were insulting me, and forcing me to shut down the castle,.. that Madam Elizabeth has arrived. And she has come to stay",she said, dressing her hair well.
A cleaner was holding a mirror for her, while she checked herself and kissed her reflection.
"You're looking so beautiful Elizabeth. You are such a smart woman ".
She was acting like a model.
Meanwhile,Adeola and Ife were looking for the others. They came into the hall, hoping they'll spot the others.
The hall was filled up with people, and the new students were sitting at a different side.
"It's almost 10am, where could they be? ",Adeola wondered.
Ife took her phone and called Blessing.
"Hello Blessing, where are you? "
"I'm outside the cafeteria. I couldn't get into the hall because of the teachers that wanted to send me on an errand.
So you'll have to meet me here before 10am",Blessing said.
"We'll be there ",Ife said and disconnected the call.
Outside the castle, the authorities arrived.
They all wore matching suits and walked into the hall.
Madam Elizabeth had joined the teachers in the hall. Welcoming and greeting the invitees. She saw the authorities and smirked.
"This should be fun ",she said with pride, and walked up to them.
The authorities saw her coming close to them.
"Here she comes.
The devil herself ",one of the authorities said.
"Welcome!!
Oh it's so good to see you all",she greeted with a fake smile.
The authorities also greeted her with a fake smile.
Madam Elizabeth looked behind to see if their president was coming.
"I don't see the president of the Golden city education office. Is she coming? ",she asked curiously.
"She's on her way.
We had to come on time to see everything that's going on before her arrival "
"Hmm.., that's because you had no choice.
You had to come and witness me make history ",she chuckles. Making then furious.
"Come in Pls.. Let me show you your sit",she said while leading the way.
She was leading them, when she saw Faith, cleaning a chair.
"Listen.. ",she called.
Faith turns to face her.
"Take them to their seat. They're our guest"
"Okay ma",Faith said.
Madam Elizabeth walked away, while the authorities stared at her in disgust.
Faith led the authorities to their seat, while they followed from behind.
Faith was using this opportunity to look for the girls. There was no sign of them.
"I wonder where they are. I hope they aren't feeling upset about Almoron's coming ",she wondered.
Outside the cafeteria, the girls came to meet Blessing.
She was hiding behind a tree.
"We're here",Adeola said.They gathered together and wondered why Blessing called them.
Blessing brought out a paper from her bag.
She opened it and showed the others.
It was a drawing of the Nature Queens.
"WAW!!,nice drawing "
"Cool"
They complimented.
"But what has this drawing got to do with our gathering? ",Christiana asked.
Blessing then said, "These girls are called the Nature Queens.
It's a story of four little girls,who discovered their powers at a very small age.
They grew up into strong ladies, helping people through the domestic works they do"
The others were listening.
"But everything soon changed, when they met four lions. This lions showed the four girls the way. And revealed to them the challenge ahead "
She looks at the drawing.
"Just like us, the lions told them about Drisezz, a dangerous Queen, who was after the lions life. And that they were the only ones to stop her. The four of them confidently agreed, despite the fact that they had never fought any battle before ".
The others looked at her.
Blessing smiled and said, "I realized something,when I came across the story last night. They fought Drisezz and won. They weren't afraid at all.
So.. ",she looks at them.
"So why can't we do the same?
Why can't we be like them? ",she asked.
They looked at each other.
"The funny part is that I'm the writer of the story",Blessing chuckled.
The others smiled at what she said.
"And you're a great writer",Treasure said.
Abigail then said, "Just because the Alphas lost their lives while fighting Almoron. It doesn't mean that we'll end up like them.
We might even end up defeating her".
"True.
And we can't let Faith down too",Adeola said.
"That's true too.
So if Almoron likes, she can come now or tomorrow. We'll be waiting for her",Ganiyat said.
At the hall, Ella was called on stage to sing the national anthem.
She walked up to the stage with pride and began.
"Arise o compatriots...
Nigerians call obey... "
Before they knew it, screaming came from outside the hall.
Everyone became shocked by the screams and ran outside to see what was going on. On reaching outside, They all became shocked.
There was a giant rock monster, standing in front of the castle.
Faith rushed outside to see this, and became shocked.
"Almoron... She's here".
Suddenly, demons came from different corners, chasing people.
The girls came running towards a big tree, behind the hostel. They were shocked.
The giant rock monster then roared out in a deep voice, "All hail Queen Almoron!!
The Queen of darkness!!!".
Almoron was coming from behind, on a giant two headed hyena.
The girls were shocked.
"I think I spoke too soon",Ganiyat said.
