The Impossible Family

The ninth book for my Doctor Who fan fiction with elements of RWBY, Symphogear, Madoka Magica, the MCU, Ace Attorney, Sherlock, and SAO in there. It will have me, the Doctor, obviously, the companion, whoever it might be. It will also have characters from RWBY, SAO, Symphogear, Madoka Magica, Sherlock, Ace Attorney, and the MCU in there, all of us interacting with each other. The traveling, the hijinks, the running and traveling continues, and this could be the end for our heroes in the story.

One of a Kind

(Open POV)

Amity Park…

There is a ship and a row of warehouses and other buildings along a dock.

(Jared's POV)

Warehouse…

Inside one of the buildings, the Box Ghost phases through a wall and crashes into a pile of boxes. Danny and I also phase through to just in front of the wall, and the three of us turn visible.

"Beware! I am the Box Ghost!" The Box Ghost said, gesturing to the boxes. "I have power over all containers cardboard and square."

"Okay, can we get this over with? I've got a test to study for." Danny said, annoyed.

"He has to study and I want to watch some anime." I said, rolling my eyes.

"Study? Anime? There will be no time to study or watching anime…" The Box Ghost said, while his hands begin to glow green and he raises boxes into the air. "…when you two find yourselves crushed beneath the forgotten possessions of…" He is reading off a shipping label. "Pomu Rainpuff of LazuLight, Nijisanji English!"

The Box Ghost turns to Danny and I, his eyes and the floating boxes glowing green, and sends the boxes and their contents flying at us.

"Of course Pomu probably has anime merchandise in there." I said, sadly.

Danny and I both turned intangible and the contents hit the wall behind us.

"I don't have time for this! Hey Tucker, let's go!" Danny said, letting out a sigh.

"Hurry up, Tuck!" I said, as Tucker and Sam kick down the door and jumped into the room.

Tucker is carrying a Fenton Thermos and Sam is carrying a biology textbook.

"Good night everybody!" Tucker said, opening the thermos and activated it.

I grab the Box Ghost and throw him into the beam of the thermos. The Box Ghost screams and gets sucked in.

"Perimeter secure." Tucker said, capping the Fenton Thermos.

"Perimeter secure? What are you, a Navy Seal?" Sam asked.

"That or a UNIT officer." I said, landing next to Sam.

"Seals: aquatic mammals that bark. They're canines, right?" Danny asked, landing next to Tucker.

"Wrong." Sam said, checking the textbook before closing it. "That's zero for twenty-one."

"I'm no teacher, but I'm guessing that's an 'F'." Tucker said, spinning the Fenton Thermos on his finger.

"Come on, you guys." Danny said, flying up in between Tucker and Sam. "If you're gonna be superhero sidekicks, you're gonna have to be a little more focused." He looked over at Sam. "You're supposed to be helping me study for the test tomorrow and after you help me study, you can watch some anime with Jared." Danny then looked over at Tucker. "And you're supposed to be helping me catch these ghosts so I have time to study!"

"What? They're all right here." Tucker said, spinning the Fenton Thermos on his finger.

"Shit!" I said, when the Fenton Thermos falls off of Tucker's finger and onto the ground.

The word 'RELEASE' appears on the side screen of the Fenton Thermos and the cap bursts off to release multiple ghosts in business suits, who phase out of the building. The Box Ghost is also released and flies into the air.

"Ha ha! I am the Box Ghost! You cannot hold me within the confines of a…" The Box Ghost said, mimicking the shape of thermos with his hands. "…cylindrical container."

The Box Ghost phases out through the wall.

"That's weird." Tucker said, checking his PDA. "According to my schedule…" He looked down at his PDA screen reading 'FINISH CATCHING GHOSTS 9:00 PM'. "…we should be done catching ghosts by now."

Danny glares at Tucker. I began laughing a lot, knowing that this is going to be a long night.

(Open POV)

A red target-sighting screen focuses on Danny's face and Jared's face.

"Two half humans, half ghosts." Skulker said, lowering his binoculars. "Two of a kind. They'll make fine additions to my collection."

"Ha ha!" The Box Ghost yelled, flying up behind Skulker's cage of ghosts with arms raised.

"Touch the box and your pelt will adorn my fireplace." Skulker said, without turning.

"Beware!" The Box Ghost said, pausing, looking at the cage, before flying away.

Skulker looks back at Danny and Jared through his binoculars.

(Jared's POV)

Fenton Works' kitchen…

Jazz jumps into the archway, holding up a magazine, "Oh my gosh, they said yes!"

Maddie is working on an invention while Jack, Danny, and I eating cereal, sitting around the table staring at Jazz.

"Who said yes? The person you asked if you were a conceited snob?" Danny asked, mocking Jazz.

"No, Genius Magazine said yes! They got my letter and want to put mom on the cover!" Jazz said, shrieking, hugging the magazine.

"Genius Magazine?" Maddie asked.

"Is it like getting recognized by Tony Stark?" I asked, enjoying my Lucky Charms.

"He wouldn't recognize women for Genius Magazine." Jazz said, sadly.

"Genius Magazine?! Is it the swimsuit issue?" Jack asked, snatching the magazine from Jazz.

"Uh, Dad, Genius Magazine is for women geniuses, by women geniuses, and about women geniuses."

"So it is the swimsuit issue." Danny said, frowning. "Oh, gross! Mom's gonna be in the swimsuit issue?!"

"It's not the swimsuit issue! But it is the perfect magazine to show that I have normal parents instead of a couple of ghost-hunting freaks." Jazz said, holding the magazine again.

"They're not ghost-hunting freaks." Danny said, smirking.

"I hang out with ghost-hunting freaks." I said, munching on a spoonful of Lucky Charms.

"Hey, Danny, Jared, speaking of ghost hunting…" Jack said, grabbing the invention Maddie is working on. "…check out the latest in ghost-hunting technology: the Ghost Gabber. Genius Magazine has to be interested in this." He looked between Danny and I. "It takes the mysterious sounds a ghost makes and translates them into words you and I use every day. Here, try it."

"Um…boo?" I asked, as Jack held the Ghost Gabber in front of me.

"I am a ghost. Fear me." The Ghost Gabber said, in a woman's voice.

"I'd better get to school." Danny said, looking at his family uncertainty.

"I'd better get to school. Fear me." The Ghost Gabber said.

Danny smiles suspiciously, then leaves with me. Jack questioningly looks at the Ghost Gabber.

"That's great about the magazine, sweetie, but your father and I are a team." Maddie said, looking through the magazine. "I think that beside every genius woman, there's a genius man."

"Who should be standing beside her on the cover of Genius Magazine!" Jack said, putting an arm around Maddie. "The world needs to know that the Fentons…" He pulls Maddie to him. "…are a family of geniuses."

School library…

"I got a 'D'?!" Danny exclaimed.

Danny and Tucker are sitting at a table looking at Danny's graded test, and Sam is at a nearby computer while I am looking down at my Macbook Pro.

"All this ghost hunting is taking away from my study time." Danny said.

"So much for the Fentons being a family of geniuses." Tucker said, scoffing.

"I can't get a 'D' in biology. My parents will kill me."

"You won't get a 'D' in biology and your parents won't kill you." I said, looking down at my Macbook with the Torchwood software loaded up. "All you have to do is an extra credit biology assignment to pull up your grade." I pulled up a web page about a gorilla that says 'Extremely Rare: Sampson'. "On this brilliant animal."

"A purple-back gorilla?" Danny asked, walking over to my MacBook Pro.

"Yup. They're extremely rare, Danny. There's only two left in existence. Both of them are male."

"Jared's right." Sam said, looking at the monitor with the page loaded up. "After this, they're gone forever. Which is why you are going to prove he deserves to be set free."

"I don't have time for extra credit...or your agendas." Danny said.

"Actually, you do." Tucker said, holding up his PDA. "You just have to learn how to manage it better. I decided to become your time manager. It's the least I can do after Sam and Jared made me let all those ghosts out."

"I don't know." Danny said, letting out a sigh.

"It'll be my job to keep track of your schedule so you can do your schoolwork and catch all those ghosts that Sam and Jared let loose."

"Seriously?" I asked, while Sam glared at Tucker. "You were the one that let them out, Tuck."

"He's got a point. Remember what happened when I let you manage the thermos?" Danny asked.

"And I've already scheduled 'Remember: not to let Tucker handle the thermos.'" Tucker said, tapping on his PDA and showing the screen with a blinking reminder.

"I suppose we could have a trial period."

"See? I've also scheduled some zoo time so we can check out that gorilla. Let's go."

Danny, Tucker, Sam, and I leave the library.

(Open POV)

Skulker then phases through the wall and floats over to look at the web page about the gorilla on the computer, "Hmm, so this is your prey, eh, Ghost Boys?"

"Uh, excuse me, sir?" Mikey asked, walking up to Skulker, who scowled at him. "Are you finished with the computer?"

Skulker shoots a series of ecto-blasts at Mikey, trapping him in webbing upside-down on the wall with his eyes blindfolded by ectoplasm. He wails.

"You thought you could sneak up on me, Skulker?" Skulker asked, as Mikey wails again. "Ghost world's greatest predator?" Mikey wails again. "Quiet, you're in a library."

Skulker shoots ectoplasm to cover Mikey's mouth, who continues to scream, now muffled. Skulker phases out through the wall, as Dash and his friend, Dale, walk in through the door. They stop to look at the trapped Mikey.

"Whoa, you do that?" Dash asked.

"No, but I can always stop and appreciate high-quality bullying." Dale said.

The ectoplasm and webbing suddenly disappear. Mikey screams and falls to the floor.

(Jared's POV)

Amity Park Zoo…

The domed gorilla habitat, where Sampson, the purple-back gorilla, is being watched by Sam, Danny, Tucker, and I from an observation tower.

"There he is: Sampson. So gifted, so...majestic." Sam said, looking through a pair of binoculars.

Sampson scratches himself. The four of us are in the tower, where Sam is watching him, while Danny, Tucker, and I lean against a desk, bored.

"Sam, we've been watching the gorilla scratch his butt for, um, how long?" Danny asked.

"Six hours." Tucker said, yawning.

"Time flies when you're majestically scratching your butt." Danny said, yawning.

"Yup. Watching Vincent Van Gogh paint the Church at Auvers was a pleasure." I said, yawning. "This, not so much."

"It's only a matter of time before you find out something about Sampson nobody's ever learned!" Sam yelled, looking through the binoculars, before turning around. "You should go and try to communicate with him." She frowns upon seeing Danny and I asleep on the floor. "Ugh, great. Tucker, you're his manager, and Jared, you're the one with the foreknowledge, can either of you…"

Sam sees Tucker curled up asleep next to Danny and I. Tucker yawns, then flips over to cuddle with Danny and I.

"I'll do it. But first…" Sam said, letting out a sigh before pulling out a camera and takes picture of Tucker, Danny, and I, before laughing. "Boys hugging makes every yearbook funny."

Sampson is in his habitat and in another habitat, a tiger is sleeping. Skulker phases into the habitat and looks through his binoculars at Danny and I in the observation tower. The tiger wakes up and growls at Skulker.

"Oh, please." Skulker said, annoyed.

Sampsons hears growling and fighting noises and starts to run towards them, then sees Sam outside his habitat. He begins making distressed grunting noises to alert her.

"What is it, you wondrous being?" Sam asked.

Sampson comes over and continues to grunt at Sam, pointing towards the tiger habitat.

"Is something wrong?" Sam asked, and she was looking at where Sampson was pointing.

Sampson goes to his habitat cage's door and hangs off of it, still grunting in distress.

"You want out?" Sam asked, going to the habitat's control panel and hits the 'Open' button.

The door opens and Sampson runs out. The tiger is hanging in Skulker's net. Skulker phases out of the tiger habitat and looks through his binoculars. Beneath the binoculars' target screen reads, 'GORILLA ATTACKING!' in green blinking letters.

"What? Gorilla attacking?" Skulker asked.

Sampson suddenly jumps on him and knocks him down, then starts hitting him. Skulker blocks one of the hits, then kicks Sampson off of him. Sampson once again attacks Skulker and spins him in the air with his feet, then kicks him off and bites his wrist armor. Skulker shoots ectoplasm onto Sampson's eyes from a small wrist blaster, causing Sampson to back off and hold his face. Skulker then goes to shoot a net at him, but Sampson grabs it mid-air and twirls Skulker around by it. The net eventually snaps off of Skulker's wrist, and he crashes into the observation tower. Danny, Tucker, and I are still sleeping, but Danny's ghost sense goes off and he shivers. My ghost sense goes off and I shiver and grab Tucker's hand.

Sam appears in the doorway, "Oh my gosh! Ahhh…"

Skulker covers Sam's mouth with ectoplasm, "Now for the ghost children."

Sampson flies in through the window and knocks Skulker into the desk. Skulker throws him off of himself then phases out through the wall as Sampson starts to charge at him. Sampson then starts pounding at the wall, which wakes up Danny, Tucker, and I who scream and, realizing we're still holding each other, let go and scream again.

"Shit! I forgot Sampson!" I said, while we saw Sampson and screamed once again. "That's what I get for being bored watching him."

"Gorilla! Loose!" Tucker said, terrified.

"I got him! Jared, you can kick back and relax! I'm going ghost!" Danny said, going ghost and flies after Sampson, picking him up by the arms and phasing him through the wall outside into the air. "Alright, I don't know how you got out, but you're going back."

Danny phases Sampson into the gorilla habitat, then goes outside and shuts the door via the control panel. Sam, Tucker, and I walk up behind him.

"Danny, Jared, I meant to tell you, there was a gho…" Sam said, sadly.

"After all these adventures, it's not like I'm going to remember everything. But there's one thing I do remember about this adventure." I said, looking down at the floor. "You let the gorilla out, didn't you, Sam?"

"Yeah. Wait 'til we tell everybody at school you let out a four-hundred-pound gorilla." Tucker said, happily.

Sam holds up the picture of Danny, Tucker, and I hugging while sleeping.

"Or we just keep it our little secret." Danny said.

"Yeah, we really have no proof she did it, you know." Tucker said.

"No." Danny said, and Sam smirks.

"Nope." I said, letting out a sigh.

Fenton Works' living room…

Maddie, Jack, and Jazz are sitting on the couch across from Connie, a journalist for Genius Magazine. She is sitting in a chair holding a tape recorder up.

"A few more questions, Maddie. Can you tell our readers what you're working on now?" Connie asked.

"Well, it's called the Ghost Gabber, and…" Jack said, cutting off Maddie and holding the Ghost Gabber out.

"Dad, put that thing away!" Jazz said, before looking at Connie. "She's actually working on a new form of self-generating energy. She's an amazing, intelligent woman who's about to change the world."

"Connie, my primary focus these days is ghost hunting." Maddie said.

"Um, forgive me." Connie said, frowning. "Did you say ghost hunting? As in the next generation of the Ghostbusters from the 80s?"

Jazz sighs. Danny, Tucker, Sam, and I come in through the front door. Danny looks exhausted.

"Danny, look at you! I'm not sure I like this overnight zoo research." Maddie said, looking at Danny.

"Mom, come on. We're just a bunch of kids. In the zoo. At night. Alone." Danny said, and everyone stared at him. "We'll be in my room."

Danny, Tucker, Sam, and I go upstairs.

"We'll be in my room. Fear me." The Ghost Gabber said.

"Give me that!" Jazz yelled, taking the Ghost Gabber and hides it under a pillow. "Now where were we?"

Danny's bedroom door…

Danny, Tucker, Sam, and I are walking up to Danny's bedroom door.

"Here we go, Danny. Home in time for some well-deserved rest." Tucker said, when his PDA beeps and he checks it. "But keep it quick, because you've got thirteen minutes."

Danny's ghost sense and my ghost sense suddenly goes off. Danny opens his bedroom door and Skulker turns visible in the doorway.

"Hello, Ghost Children." Skulker said, trapping Danny and I in a net and pulls us into his room, the door slamming shut behind us.

"Danny! Jared!" Sam and Tucker said, at the same time.

Danny's bedroom…

Danny and I are in the net in his room, Skulker standing over us.

"The human ghost children in their natural habitat." Skulker said.

"Who are you?" Danny asked.

"I am Skulker." Skulker said, holding up his cage of ghosts. "A collector of things rare and unique. And you, Ghost Children, are that and more."

"Hey!" I said, while Skulker laughs and stomps on a model rocket.

"Hey, my rocket! I built that!" Danny said, angrily.

"Pity, though. I'd hoped you both would put up more of a fight." Skulker said, sadly.

"Oh, don't worry." Danny said, going ghost and phases out of the net. "We will!"

"Yup!" I said, going ghost and phasing out of the neck, punching Skulker into the wall, and the ghost hunter growls. "That's for messing with my friend!"

(Open POV)

Danny's bedroom door…

Sam and Tucker are struggling to open the door.

"That's the ghost from the zoo!" Sam said, worried.

"Danny? Jared?" Tucker asked.

"No, the other guy."

They hear a loud crash in Danny's room, then a voice coming from downstairs.

"Hello? What's going on up there?" Jazz asked, nearby.

Sam and Tucker share a worried look, then run down the stairs.

Fenton Works' living room…

"You know, ghost hunting isn't the only thing my parents do, Connie. It's really a side interest. What they're really into is…" Jazz said, happily.

They all hear a loud crash from upstairs.

"Ghost!" Jack said, standing up "Ghost! Ghost!"

Sam and Tucker are walking down the stairs.

"Kids, get down! There's a ghost in the house." Maddie said.

"Actually there's three…" Tucker said, while Sam elbows him. "…much homework to be done for there to be a ghost here. " He walks to the kitchen. "I'll get some snacks."

"Yeah, Danny's upstairs." Sam said, as they hear a loud crash. "Uh, lifting weights with Jared?"

"He doesn't have exercise equipment up there." Maddie said, nearby.

"MY COMPUTER! Oh, that's Jazz's." Danny said, nearby, after another crash upstairs.

"Jazz is going to kill you!" Jared said, nearby, after another crash upstairs.

"That's why they're using his computer." Sam said.

Kitchen…

Tucker ran into the kitchen.

(Jared's POV)

Danny and I crashed through the ceiling and into the kitchen table, breaking it into pieces. Skulker jumps down through the ceiling in front of us.

"Come, Ghost Boys. Time to see your new home." Skulker said, grabbing Danny and I and phasing us through the floor into the lab, Danny and I yelling along the way.

(Open POV)

Tucker looks at everyone else coming into the kitchen and sees the mess.

"Uh...hi-ya!" Tucker said, striking a karate pose next to the broken table.

"What's going on?" Connie asked.

"Sounds like rats in the lab." Tucker said, hearing another crash.

"Ghost rats. I knew it." Jack said.

"Don't worry, we'll get rid of them." Sam said, while she and Tucker ran into the living room.

"I'd like to learn a little more about these Danny and Jared." Connie said, beginning to walk towards the stairs.

"Uh, that's probably not such a great idea!" Jazz said, worried.

"I'd like to see what they're doing up there, anyway." Maddie said, walking towards the stairs.

"Wait!"

(Jared's POV)

Fenton Works' lab…

Danny and I are being held by the throats in the air by Skulker.

"What are you doing?" Danny asked.

"Bringing the two of you back to my world, where I can put you both on display." Skulker said, holding up his cage of ghosts.

"What?!" Danny exclaimed.

"Crap!" I said, when the cage disappears and Skulker presses a button on his wrist that turns on the nearby Ghost Portal. "Of all the times I don't have my sonic screwdriver."

"Ha! At last." Skulker said, starting to walk towards the portal. "Time to put you two in your cage."

"Noooo!" Danny said, terrified.

"No…" I said, sadly.

Sam suddenly slides between Skulker and the portal, holding her arms out to block him, "No is right, Danny, Jared. Cages are wrong. How do you think Sampson feels being in a cage?"

"But…" Skulker said, looking at Sam.

"He's a beautiful animal and deserves to roam free!" Sam said, angrily.

"I…"

"Should be ashamed."

Danny and I take advantage of Skulker being distracted.

"Shame shame shame…" I said, kicking Skulker across the room towards Tucker.

Tucker yells and runs out of the way before Skulker lands.

As he sits up, Skulker sees Tucker's dropped PDA next to the fallen Tucker and picks it up.

"That technology: so sleek, so...advanced." Skulker said, looking at his old control panel on wrist, then back at PDA. "Hmm, I wonder…"

"So advanced for 2004 standards." I said, as Skulker yanks the busted, outdated control panel off of his armor and drops it on the floor, then replaces its slot with the PDA. "The iPhone is more advanced than that. But the screen is less durable."

The PDA begins to spark and the dangling wires wave around.

"Hey, I got three more payments on that!" Tucker said, standing up behind Skulker.

Skulker smacks Tucker away with his hand and looks back at his wrist, "Marvelous."

The dangling wires connect to the PDA, causing Skulker to glow. Danny flies at him, but Skulker fires a new ecto-blaster from his wrist back at him. Danny hits the wall, his arms and legs bound by ectoplasm.

"Way to go, Tucker. You just made the bad guy more bad!" Sam yelled.

"How was I supposed to know my PDA was ghost compatible?" Tucker asked.

"Say goodbye to this world, children." Skulker said, pointing his wrist at Danny and I. The PDA beeps and he looks at it. "What?" He read what is on the PDA screen. 'Fly to library? Get a book on eating habits of purple-back gorilla?'"

Skulker's jetpack suddenly pops out and turns on, blasting him towards the ceiling.

"No, stop. The hunt is not over!" Skulker said, as he flies up.

Skulker phases through the ceiling and invisibly passes up through the living room. Jack, climbing the stairs with the others, turns around as if he heard Skulker, frowns, and keeps walking. Skulker phases completely out of Fenton Works. Back in the lab, the ectoplasmic binds on Danny disappear.

"What happened?" Sam asked, helping Danny up.

"Who cares? At least I got a minute to relax and figure this out." Danny said.

"Danny, where are you and Jared? Somebody here wants to meet you and Jared." Maddie said, nearby, from two floors above.

"D'oh! My room!" Danny said, worried.

"Yup…" I said, sadly.

Danny's bedroom…

Danny and I phase into his room and we transform into our human selves.

"Danny, Jared, this is Connie, from Genius Magazine." Maddie said, opening the door to let Connie in.

"Don't you people ever knock?" Danny asked, holding the door handle.

"What he said. Ugh. Don't interrupt us boys playing video games." I said, slamming the door shut.

"Jazz is going to kill me for that." Danny said, leaning against the door.

(Open POV)

Outside Danny's bedroom…

"I'm gonna kill him for that." Jazz said, annoyed.

"Brooding? Messy? Reclusive? Now those are the signs of true geniuses. Oh! If only they were women." Connie said, letting out a sigh.

(Jared's POV)

Outside steps of Casper High…

Tucker, Danny, Sam, and I stop.

"Any sign of him?" Danny asked.

"Tucker, how long has it been?" I asked, snacking on some chocolate chips.

"Nope." Tucker said, checking his PDA. "He hasn't bothered the two of you for...thirty-eight minutes. Maybe he's hunting somebody else now."

"How many of those things do you have?" Sam asked, looking at Tucker.

"Just two." Tucker said, looking at Danny. "Good thing I beamed all your info in here and backed it up. Global thinking, Danny: the sign of a quality time manager." His PDA beeps and reads 'GO TO CLASS!'. He pushes Danny into the school. "Come on, you're late."

Sam, Tucker, and I follow after Danny.

Skulker phases up out of the steps, "Soon, Ghost Boys. Soon."

Casper High…

Danny, Sam, and Tucker leaving Mr. Lancer's classroom with me standing outside waiting for them. As students leave the hallway, Danny opens his locker. A series of glowing chains jump out of it and wrap around Danny's torso and arms and around my torso and arms.

"Danny! Jared!" Sam and Tucker said, at the same time.

Skulker materializes out of a blue mist in front of Danny and I.

"I have you now, children." Skulker said, aiming a wrist ecto-blaster at Danny and I.

Suddenly, Skulker's PDA beeps.

"What?" Skulker asked, reading his PDA. "'Go to the news stand and purchase magazine with article about purple-back gorillas?'"

Skulker's jetpack activates and he flies up, crashing through the school's ceiling. The chains on Danny and I dissipate.

"Hmm, I have the same thing on mine." Tucker said, checking his PDA.

"I think we'll blow that one off." Danny said, sadly.

Football field…

Danny, Tucker, Sam, and I are sitting on the football bleachers.

"Danny, eat something." Sam said, sadly.

"I can't eat now. He could be anywhere." Danny said, frowning.

"Hey, this food was scheduled to be eaten." Tucker said, swallowing his food, and Danny, Sam, and I looked at him.

"Tucker! Don't open that!" I said, when Tucker opened a carton of milk. "Too late…"

Two glowing blue orbs pop out of it and wrap themselves around Danny's head and my head. Danny yells and I tried to get the blue orb off my head, but failed miserably.

"Danny! Jared!" Sam and Tucker said, at the same time.

Skulker steps on the bleachers.

"Now, boys, once more, I, Skulker, shall…" Skulker said, while the PDA beeps and he reads off the screen. "'Take photos of gorilla?'"

Skulker's jetpack activates and he flies away. The restraints on me and Danny disappear.

"Well, at least he's regular." Sam said.

"Yeah, almost like a schedule. What's the next thing you have scheduled for me, Tucker?" Danny asked.

"Gym. Why?" Tucker asked, checking his PDA.

"It's time to have some fun with Dash." I said, as Danny looks mischievous.

Boys locker room…

Dash admires his reflection in a mirror in the locker room. I am invisible, watching what is happening nearby.

"You are one smooth-lookin' dude." Dash said, flexing his arms.

Danny is about to open his locker. He hesitates and turns to Dash.

"Hey, Dash? I'm too weak and defenseless to open my locker. Can you open it for me?" Danny asked.

"Out of the way, loser." Dash said, shoving Danny to the side.

Dash opens Danny's locker, and an ectoplasmic goo shoots out and traps Dash in a bubble on the wall, his eyes covered.

Skulker lands and inspects Dash, "Hmm, my sensors indicate you're an average human, destined for an average life after high school."

Dash screams, muffled by the bubble. Skulker sees Danny and Tucker peeking out with me when I become visible from a row of lockers. He prepares to throw a ball of ectoplasm at us.

"I shall…" Skulker said, as the PDA beeps and he read off the screen again. "'The gorilla display at the museum of natural history?'"

Skulker's jetpack activates and he flies up through the ceiling.

"Why's he going there?" Tucker asked.

"Tucker, what you have is the early version of iCloud. What I have on my Apple devices. When Skulker put your PDA into his ghost hunting suit, he linked himself to Danny's schedule. Kinda funny when you think about it. He has to go where Danny is going next." I said, checking Tucker's PDA and tossing it to Danny. "I didn't want him to know my schedule. The last thing I need is for him to learn about the rest of my friends. So I let him use your PDA instead."

"Which means…" Danny said, showing Tucker's PDA screen which reads 'VISIT GORILLA HABITAT'. "It's time for the hunter to become the hunted. Come on, I'm gonna go do something a little ahead of schedule."

Danny, Tucker, and I ran away from the set of lockers.

Amity Park Zoo…

Skulker watches Sampson in his habitat through his binoculars from a tree.

"Where are they? According to this infernal device…" Skulker said, lowering his binoculars and looking down at the PDA playing the game Pong. "...which I cannot reprogram…the ghost boys were supposed to be here an hour ago." He jumps down to talk to Sampson. "You were supposed to be the bait, you stupid animal."

'Sampson' turns around to reveal Sam and Tucker holding up a fake Sampson suit.

"Sampson's not stupid!" Sam yelled.

"He's also not here." Tucker said, holding up his PDA and stylus. "Can I take a message?"

"You two! You'll pay for this!" Skulker said, aiming multiple weapons on his suit at Sam and Tucker.

Sam throws off the Sampson suit.

"Yeah. I don't think so." I said, becoming visible, holding out my iPhone 15 Pro Max while pressing the 'Add' button on the Calendar app. "I linked my iPhone to Tucker's PDA. Which is linked to the PDA on your suit, Skulker. Wasn't that hard."

Skulker's PDA beeps and he checks it.

"'Time for push-ups'. What?!" Skulker exclaimed, reading the PDA and tried to resist as his body automatically started doing push-ups. "Stop! Stop! I can't...stop!"

Danny, as Phantom, flies into the air.

"I can help with that." Danny said, flying at Skulker and punching him into the wall of the habitat.

Danny then punches him five more times, as pieces of metal fly off his suit. Skulker dodges another punch and aims an eco-blaster on his shoulder at Danny.

"Ah-ah-ah. 10:11, polish armor." Tucker said, sending the command from his PDA.

Skulker's blaster turns into a buffer and he starts screaming as it polishes his face.

"10:12, listen to Britney Spears' Toxic." I said, sending the command from my iPhone 15 Pro Max.

The PDA on Skulker's wrist began blaring out Toxic and I began laughing a lot. I then placed my iPhone 15 Pro Max back inside my sling bag.

"Baby, can't you see I'm calling? A guy like you should wear a warning. It's dangerous, I'm falling." Britney Spears said, over Skulker's PDA. "There's no escape, I can't wait. I need a hit, baby, give me it. You're dangerous, I'm loving it."

"Stop fooling around, Tucker, Jared." Sam said, looking between Tucker and I.

"Power him down already. Now!" Danny said, angrily.

"Relax." Tucker said, waving his PDA around. "Everything's totally under…" An arrow hits the PDA and pins it to the tree. "…control? Aw, man! I had four more payments on this one!"

"Tucker, you're fired." Danny said, and Skulker put away his bow.

"Very well. I planned on simply capturing the two of you and letting you both live the rest of your lives in a cage. But now, I will rest your pelts at the foot of my bed." Skulker said.

"Okay, that's just gross." Sam said, disgusted.

"Well, Ghost Boys, any last words?"

"Yup." I said, patting my head, covering my eyes repeatedly, and pounding my chest with my fists. "Just this, Skulker."

"What are you doing?"

"I'm calling a friend." I said, scratching my butt.

Sampson suddenly flies in and crashes into Skulker.

"You learned his language?" Sam asked, looking at me.

"Well, yeah. I didn't need the TARDIS translation matrix at all." I said, continuing to scratch my butt. "All Sampson does is this, Sam."

Sampson continuously hits Skulker and rips his armor apart, as Danny, Sam, Tucker, and I both cheer him on and wince at the hits. Sampson then throws Skulker, whose arm has been ripped off, down on the ground.

"But I still don't understand why a ghost needed a high-tech battle suit." Tucker said, sadly.

Sampson continues to rip Skulker's armor apart and throws pieces of it over our heads. Skulker's head armor is thrown and Danny catches it. Two small green legs are kicking out from inside the head.

"Let me go! I am the Skulker! The Skulker! Do you hear me? Fear me!" Skulker said, in a squeaky voice.

Danny pulls on the legs to reveal Skulker's true form: a tiny green blob with a face and limbs. Danny, Tucker, and Sam are shocked and I went back to laughing a lot.

"I am the greatest hunter in all of ghost world. You will all fear me." Skulker said.

"Tucker, after deciding to not let Danny humiliate himself. Can you please activate the Fenton Thermos?" I asked, clutching the strap of my sling bag.

Tucker holds the thermos out and activates it. Danny drops Skulker into its beam.

"You haven't seen the last of me!" Skulker said, as he was sucked into the Fenton Thermos. "I shall capture you all. You shall all be mine. Mine, do you hear?!"

Tucker caps off the thermos.

Danny lands on the ground in his human form, "Cool. Let's go home."

"But you didn't get anything you could use for your report. You're still gonna get a 'D'." Sam said, sadly.

"Ah, that's okay." Danny said, kneeling down to pick up Skulker's PDA. "We stopped the bad guy, saved the gorilla. If that's all I got done, then that's…" Sampson walks closer to him. Danny turns to look up at him, but is shocked at what he sees. "Oh my gosh!"

(Open POV)

Lancer's classroom…

The cover of Genius Magazine has a headline that reads, 'He is a SHE!' Lancer looks down at the cover that has Maddie, Danny, and Jared standing in front of the gorilla, whose hair is dressed up in a bow, with Jack peeking out from behind her. A caption in the corner reads, 'Genius child of genius woman and his genius friend discover gorilla male actually a female!' Mr. Lancer picks up the magazine from his desk and opens it.

"'Brooding genius Daniel Fenton and his genius friend did what no other researcher dared to do. They got close enough to this rare purple-back gorilla to realize Sampson was actually a Delilah.'" Lancer said, reading the magazine to the class. "Nobody at that zoo ever bothered to see if it was a boy or a girl?"

"That's weird, huh? Well, maybe they were respecting her privacy." Danny said.

"Well, Fenton, I have to admit I'm impressed. Wanted to get your grade up so bad, you risked getting mauled by a gorilla." Lancer said, placing the graded report on Danny's desk. "'C'."

"A 'C'?! I almost get killed by a gho--rilla, and all I get is a "C?!""

"Life's a big mystery, isn't it, Fenton?" Lancer asked, as the bell rings and he leaves the classroom. "Next time you want to get your grade up, try the library."

"Well, it's better than a 'D', right?" Sam asked.

"Oh man, if only I had something I could take this out on!" Danny said, angrily.

Danny, Sam, and Tucker suddenly hear the Box Ghost yelling at a box of files in the back of the classroom with Jared becoming visible.

"I am the Box Ghost! And once I empty you of your useless papers, your marvelous squareness shall be mine!" The Box Ghost said, laughing.

"Hello, misplaced aggression." Danny said, going ghost.

"It's time to meet your doom." Jared said, going ghost. "That being Danny Phantom and the Black Pearl."

"You've got five minutes." Tucker said, checking his PDA.

"Which is four more than we'll need." Danny said, flying away with Jared.

"Yup. The Box Ghost is easy." Jared said, and he starts fighting the Box Ghost with Danny.

"Beware!" The Box Ghost said, making pained noises.

"Super easy." Jared said, looking over at Sam and Tucker's smiling faces.
