The Impossible Family

The ninth book for my Doctor Who fan fiction with elements of RWBY, Symphogear, Madoka Magica, the MCU, Ace Attorney, Sherlock, and SAO in there. It will have me, the Doctor, obviously, the companion, whoever it might be. It will also have characters from RWBY, SAO, Symphogear, Madoka Magica, Sherlock, Ace Attorney, and the MCU in there, all of us interacting with each other. The traveling, the hijinks, the running and traveling continues, and this could be the end for our heroes in the story.

Lucky in Love

(Jared's POV)

Memory Tardis…

A mash-up of various Tardis themes and contents. Someone is wearing a space helmet and pressing buttons. He removes it and gasps for breath.

"Whoa! So much cool junk." Clyde said, happily.

"Less of the junk, Clyde Langer." Jo said, smiling.

"Yup. It's more of sentimentality for Jo and I." I said, leaning against the TARDIS console.

"Jo! Jared! My God!" Clyde said, running up to Jo and I for a group hug.

"Oh, hello, darlings!" Jo said, letting go of Clyde and I.

"This is amazing! Where are we? It kind of looks like the Tardis." Clyde said, in awe.

"It's kinda like the TARDIS. But not really. I've been here a few times already." I said, letting go of Clyde and Jo. "This is called a Memory TARDIS. This place is full of memories."

"Oh, look, look, look, look!" Jo cheered, while we found a compartment full of sonic screwdrivers. "Oh, look! Oh, wow! Look at that, look at that. Oh, amazing!" She picked up her Doctor's sonic screwdriver. "Oh, that's the one. I've always wanted to have a go with one of these."

"Jo? Don't you have Sarah's sonic lipstick?" I asked, walking around the Memory TARDIS.

"I do. But the Doctor's sonic screwdriver!"

"Are you sure? Shouldn't we be careful with that?" Clyde asked, as Jo activates the Doctor's sonic screwdriver, and bits light up around the Tardis. The WHO 1 numberplate has prominence. "Give it to me."

"No, no, no! I don't think that's fair." Jo said, fighting with Clyde over the Doctor's sonic screwdriver. "Jared has one, but I don't."

"I know exactly which one…"

"I'm a great-grandmother, I…"

"I understand that, but I…"

"I don't think that at all."

"Just let it go, let it go. Look, it's that one there. Okay, yeah?" Clyde asked, and the screwdriver is switched off and put back.

"Right." Jo said, sadly.

"Okay, we'll just put that…" Clyde said, frowning.

"Okay, well, er, best I just hang on to this, then, isn't it?"

"Yeah. So is there no Doctor here?"

"Oh, yes. Oh, my darlings, I think they're all here. All the Doctors. All of the companions." Jo said, looking between Clyde and I. "Jared, did you meet some of the Doctors and companions here?"

"I did. I met the Fifth Doctor and Tegan, Jamie and Zoe, and the Sixth Doctor and Peri." I said, taking out chocolate chip cookies to snack on them.

"You've met Tegan! She's wonderful, Jared. Have you met Ace?"

"Once. She taught me the formula for her Nitro-9. I do hope I meet her again someday."

"Oh!" Jo said, picking up a cuddly toy. "Sweet Sarah Jane."

"Do you think so?" Clyde asked.

"Yup. Totally." I said, eating a chocolate chip cookie. "The TARDIS doesn't let go of the Doctor, their companions, or the friends of the Doctor. Here, anything is possible. I met people I shouldn't have. Jo and I both know that, don't we?"

"We do." Jo said, happily.

"By the way, Jo, I heard, and I'm sorry." Clyde said, frowning.

"Thank you. You know, Cliff would... Oh, Cliff would have... he would have just loved all this weirdness." Jo said, looking around the Memory TARDIS.

"Wish I knew Cliff." I said, walking over to a chair to sit down in it and Clyde and Jo sat down in the two other chairs. "Sit down, you two. So, Clyde. How are things going with Lukey Boy and Lady Rani? Along with, well, you."

"Good. Good. Yeah, just the same. I mean, we don't see as much of each other, obvs, but when we can. You know, Luke and Sanjay are off doing experiments on the UNIT space station, and there's this TV series of my Blood River City comics we're doing in LA." Clyde said, looking between Jo and I.

"Oh, that's marvellous!" Jo cheered. "And Rani?"

"She's still... marching around. Waking everyone up to how much danger we're in with climate change. Exposing corporations more interested in making money out of it than stopping it."

"Yes. A girl after my own heart. Oh, you know, Clyde, Jared, she's... she's so like Sarah Jane in so many ways."

"Never stops."

"And when you all meet up, I bet it's like you've never been apart." Jo said, smiling.

"Yeah, but I miss the old days."

"Jo and I too. We both miss the old days." I said, tossing another chocolate chip cookie into my mouth. "Clyde, did you see? Me hanging around Amity Park with Danny Phantom, Tucker Foley, Sam Manson, and Jasmine Fenton. Along with Jack and Maddie Fenton."

"Blimey, Jared. You're the Black Pearl! So, you've been reliving your time with me, Luke, Rani, and Sarah Jane. By being in Amity Park."

"Yup."

"You know, darlings, the older you get, the more and more you miss. I miss my Doctor. And Jared, I bet you miss your Doctor. Especially now." Jo said, letting out a sigh.

"Jo, how many Doctors did you know?" Clyde asked, looking at Jo.

"Oh, more than most. Not as much as you, Jared. Three, once. Well, no, three all at once, once. Well, no, actually, wait a minute, two and a bit."

"Which bit?" Clyde asked.

"Jo? Weren't people vanishing around UNIT?" I asked, munching on a chocolate chip cookie.

"They were, Jared. They were. That's how it all started. And something was coming for the Doctor." Jo said, sadly.

Outside the water park…

There is a sign that says says 'WELCOME FLOODY WATERS!'.

Water park…

The crowd of people making her way through the water park. By a wall, a shadow leans on the wall and resembles a silhouette of Johnny 13. A scary face appears and morphs into Shadow. Shadow creeps down through the floor. There is a sign that says TERROR MOUNTAIN. And at a water slide, a teen slides down rapidly and splashes into the pool. At a sign, it says TERROR MOUNTAIN - AVERAGE WAIT - 45 MINUTES - FROM THIS POINT. Tucker, Danny, Sam, and I are in our swimming outfits. Tucker is wearing only swim trunks and pink floaties. Danny is wearing a white tank top and blue shorts. Sam is wearing a small black hat attached to a veil, black sunglasses, her black cape covering her body. I am wearing a blue water t-shirt and white swimming shorts.

"Man, I love the water. Girls, bathing suits, and the occasional opportunity to administer mouth-to-mouth resuscitation." Tucker said, spraying breath freshener in his mouth.

"Geez, it's hot. Aren't you sweating, Sam?" Danny asked.

"Regular people sweat. Goths, we simmer." Sam said, happily.

"I think you're overcooked." Danny said, sniffing the air around Sam.

"More like it's making you sweat so much." I said, while Sam raises her arm and I can see her purple bathing suit now. "That's what you get for wearing too much black in the heat."

Sam sniffs her armpit.

"Wooh! I reek." Sam said, as Tucker sprays breath freshener in Sam's armpit. Sam scowls. "Yet another reason…" She covers herself with her cape like Dracula. "…to get out of the sun."

Two shadows loom over Danny, Tucker, and I. Dash and Kwan are wearing red underwear and holding water-filled water squirters.

"Watch our place in line, will ya?" Dash asked.

"How can I? I'm in front of you." Danny said.

"Not any more!" Dash said, spraying water at Tucker, Danny, and I, which knocks him into a fountain.

There is a statue of a cupid holding a bow and heart arrow and spitting water. Danny's hair is drooping and wet, and his feet and hands are in the water.

"Well... this is humiliating." Danny said, sadly.

Tucker's hair is drooping and wet, and his feet and hands are in the water.

"But oddly refreshing." Tucker said, happily.

My hair is wet, and my hands and feet are also in the water.

"Yup." I said, as my ghost sense and Danny's ghost sense goes off. "But this isn't refreshing."

"We've got company, Tuck, Jared." Danny said, looking between Tucker and I.

Shadow moves from the ground, emerges from the shadow, and flies up to the people. People screamed and ran in the water park.

"It's Johnny 13's Shadow. Jared, we've got to find a place to go ghost." Danny said, and he took off with me.

"Yeah." I said, frowning.

"You two do that. And I'll stay here in case any of these girls need mouth-to-mouth." Tucker said, spraying breath freshener in his mouth twice.

Danny and I run to an open room. Star and Paulina are pushing Danny out of the open room.

"Hello!" Star yelled, pointing to a ladies picture on the door. "Ladies room."

"I'd tell you to go to the men's room but I don't think you qualify." Paulina said, scoffing.

Paulina and Star high-five each other.

Danny scowls while I roll my eyes. There is a map board in the water park. Danny and I ran behind it. Four rings of blue light appear behind the board. Danny Phantom and I flew through the air, with Danny having one fist extended and his tail in the back as I have my tail in the back.

The people are running and screaming in the water park. Shadow jumps in.

"Hey, tall, dark, and formless!" Danny said, while Shadow turns around and sees Danny and I.

"You formless shadowy figure that defies the laws of physics." I said, happily.

"Remember us?" Danny asked, lunging at Shadow.

Danny is diving as Shadow's hand punches him in the stomach, Danny yells in pain. Shadow's hand grasps Danny's head tight.

"Oof. That has gotta hurt." I said, looking at the wall of a mountain waterslide where Shadow's hand slams Danny back-first into the wall, upside down. Cracks appear in the bricks, Danny grunts with effort, his arms out, as the fist of Shadow punches him and the wall. The fist of the Shadow squishes Danny straight through the wall, making an even BIGGER hole. "That must really hurt."

"No kidding." Danny said, while he falls head-first into another, bracing himself for impact as a gaping hole is made and chunks of debris fall out. "You could be helping."

"Water and electricity. Not the best mix." I said, looking at a pipeline parked on the wall. "Might accidentally shock people to death."

"Yeah." Danny said, hitting on the pipeline with his head on the pipe, the pipeline shatter and the steam is being released. Shadow lifts him up and growls at him. "I'll take that as a yes. Come on slick. Let's see how well you mix with water. Enjoy your trip through the sewers! Oh and if you see Monday's meatloaf, say hi for me."

"Danny? You're the ghost boy?" Paulina asked, looking between Danny and I. "And your friend is also a ghost?"

Some time has passed, and I'm back wearing my swimming trunks and t-shirt.

"Amity Park rocked today by another random attack from the pasty faced ghost lads known as invisio bill and boy wonder." A reporter said.

"Guys we've got a problem." Danny said, sadly.

"I'll say. Inviso bill?" Sam asked.

"And boy wonder? Why are they saying I'm your sidekick?" I asked, looking over at Danny.

"Yeah, you need publicists, dudes." Tucker said, fixated on Star. "And you need mouth to mouth."

"Dream on, loser." Star said, walking away from Tucker.

"It's worse than that. Paulina saw. She knows Jared and I are half ghosts. I finally get to see her in a bathing suit and I can't even enjoy it!" Danny said, angrily.

"Paulina. I just had a nasty run in with her in the bathroom. She's the rudest little…" Sam said, annoyed.

"Danny! Sam! Jared! Whatever your name is. Hi!" Paulina cheered, walking over to Danny, Sam, Tucker, and I.

"Listen, you. I don't know what you think you saw, but if you say or do anything to hurt Danny and Jared…"

"Don't get your bat wings in a bundle." Paulina said, walking over to Danny and I. "Danny. Jared. Why'd you both run? I know it freaked the two of you out that I discovered your secret but, I won't tell."

"R-really?" Danny asked.

"Aw, come on. How can we trust you?" Tucker asked.

"I don't know if we can even trust you, Paulina. You barged your way into our friend group." I said, looking down at the ground.

"You can trust me because it's my secret now, too. Which makes it…our secret." Paulina said, happily.

"Oh great. Excuse me while I find a nice dark place to throw up." Sam said, rolling her eyes.

"So, you think it's cool that I've got these powers?" Danny asked.

"Cool? No. I think it's hot." Paulina said, walking away from us. "Seeya."

"I'm hot? I'm hot? I'm hot!" Danny said, excitedly.

"That'll cool ya off." Dash said, pouring something onto Danny. "By the way, this isn't water. If you catch my drift."

(Open POV)

Casper High School…

Shadow comes to attack again and Danny makes him vanish by taking a magnifying glass from the school science lab and shooting his ecto ray through it, which intensifies it.

"Is anybody looking at me funny?" Danny asked.

"Yeah but that's because you look like you're trying to eat your way out of your shirt. Lighten up." Tucker said.

"How can I lighten up? Paulina knows Jared and I are half ghosts! I mean, she says she's gonna keep the secret but how can I trust her? She's a girl! Girls can't keep secrets. Uh, except for you." Danny said, looking over at Sam for a moment. "You're…different."

"Well, the good news is Paulina's kinda dim. As long as nothing else weird happens, maybe she'll forget all about it." Sam said, happily.

Danny, Sam, and Tucker are still walking around the school.

"So that's where the town sewage goes. I knew it." Sam said, scoffing.

"You're making it really hard for me to keep a low profile. Jared's the only one keeping a low profile by not being here." Danny said, walking over to Paulina. "Looking for me?"

"Good job Danny." Paulina said, happily.

"W-where did you come from?"

"Mr. Fenton. There you are." Mr. Lancer said, approaching Danny. "You were due to smack the erasers 5 minutes ago. Where were you?"

Danny stammers.

"He was with me. We're dating now." Paulina said, smiling.

Everyone gasps.

"Well that certainly ups your street cred. Mr. Fenton. Mr. Foley, you're not dating out of your league. You can smack the erasers together." Mr. Lancer said, walking away. "You two lovebirds enjoy lunch."

"You okay?" Tucker asked.

"Of course I am. Why would I not be okay? Look how happy he is." Sam said, sarcastically.

"I-I'm really happy that you're cool with this Paulina. But everyone's kinda staring at us." Danny said, sadly.

"That's because you're with me now." Paulina said, while a student cried. "And speaking of that. How would you like to come with me to a bowling party on Friday night?"

"You mean, like a date?" Danny asked.

"Not like a date. A date."

"Well, as much as it pays me to say this, Fenton. Now that Paulina likes you, you're officially a cool kid." Dash said, approaching Danny.

"Officially? Like a club?" Danny asked.

"Not like a club. A club. He's kinda dim isn't he." Dash said, handing Danny a stack of papers. "Here's your membership packet." He dragged Mikey towards Danny. "And this is Mikey. He'll be doing your homework from now on."

"Hi Danny." Mikey said, frowning.

"Don't talk to him. You're nowhere near cool enough." Dash said, handing Danny a hall pass. "And here's your hall pass card. After the hall monitor stamps it 10 times, you get a free frozen yogurt. Welcome to the A list jerk. Uh, I mean pal."

"Fenton's cool now? I thought we didn't have room for new members." Kwan said, looking at Dash.

"Kwan old pal o' mine. I have some bad news." Dash said.

(Jared's POV)

Casper High Cafeteria…

"I was told I have to sit here now." Kwan said, looking between Sam, Tucker, and I.

"You'll never take Danny's place. Never!" Tucker yelled.

Lisbeth's Smith Shop…

I looked around to see Lisbeth there and I took out some macaroons.

"Hey." I said, walking over to Lisbeth. "Mind if we talk?"

"Sure we can." Lisbeth said, happily. "What's up?"

"Well, you know how I've been hanging around at Amity Park."

"Yeah. I do. It's just…"

"What?"

"Danny has been hanging out with Paulina. And I chose to be here while Kwan is with Sam and Tucker."

"You ditched Sam and Tucker? That's a new low, even for you." Lisbeth said, walking over to me to pick up the green tea macaroon. "Is that all that is happening over there?"

"It's going to get more complicated from here. Kitty, Johnny's girlfriend, is in Paulina's body. And Danny is in love with Paulina. Johnny is in love with Kitty."

"Talk about a love rectangle. And I thought competing for Kirito with his Leafa, Asuna, Silica, Sinon, and Alice was hard. Give me the deets of this adventure, Jared."

Casper High…

I removed the AmuSphere from my head and placed it inside my sling bag, knowing it is safe and sound in there.

"Any sign of the enemy of fun?" Sam asked.

"Nope. We're officially Kwan free. Which means I can finally focus on the satellite." Tucker said.

"Satellite? Tucker, Her name is Star." I said, walking over to Sam and Tucker. "Sorry. I was in ALO yesterday evening."

"You went to ALO?" Sam asked. "Who did you talk to?"

"Liz."

"That blacksmith girl?"

"I wanted to talk to Silica too. Guess she was busy. Still. Star isn't a satellite, Tuck." I said, letting out a sigh.

"But she used to be Paulina's satellite." Tucker said.

"Ah, the marginally attractive girl who always orbits around the popular girl." Sam said, her eyes widening.

"But now that Paulina's with Danny, she's like us. Weak, unpopular and ripe for the picking." Tucker said, walking over to Star. "Hi, I'm Tucker and I…"

"Where have you been? You should have made your move on me hours ago." Star said, placing a stack of books into Tucker's hands. "Here are my books. I like to bowl on Friday nights. And if you try to hold my hand before our third date, I'll break yours in half."

"Sweet. I've got a date Friday." Tucker said.

"If that's your relationship by default, count me and Jared out." Sam said, looking at Tucker.

"Hey new best friends." Kwan said, walking up to Sam, Tucker, and I.

"I'll leave you three lovebirds alone." Tucker said, walking over to Star with the stack of books. "Satellite! I mean Star! Wait up."

"Tucker. Don't leave me and Jared with…" Sam said, sadly.

"The two of you and Tucker don't like me very much do you?" Kwan asked.

"Who? Us? What gave you that idea?"

"It's okay. I know I don't fit in with you guys and I don't like the popular kids anymore. Guess it's chess club for me." Kwan said, about to walk away from Sam and I.

"Sam, the thing we were going to do tonight." I said, taking out some chocolate chip cookies to snack on them.

"Kwan wait." Sam said, grabbing my hand. "I can't believe I'm asking this. Jared and I are going to a goth slam poetry tonight. It might not be your kind of thing but…"

"Is this like a pity date?" Kwan asked.

"It's not a date, since there's three of us. But there's plenty of pity, since you did get kicked out of the popular friends group." I said, happily.

"Sweet!" Kwan said, excitedly.

(Open POV)

Bowling alley…

"Hold this. Don't spill." Star said, handing Tucker a drink.

"Danny. I'm so embarrassing myself. Could you be an angel and give me a little invisible help." Paulina said, happily.

"That's cheating. Or…creative point scoring. I'll be right back after your strike." Danny said, walking away to use his ghost powers to help Paulina.

"I did it! I did it! I did it! You're the best, Danny." Paulina said, smiling.

"It's good to be the best." Danny said, chuckling.

Skulk and Lurk…

"Please glare indifferently at our net guest. The Beholder." Goth 1 said.

"Darkness. Eternal. I wait for your kiss. In the nothing I see your bleak smile." Goth 2 said.

"Cool! Me next!" Kwan cheered.

"Oh no…" Sam said, grabbing Jared's hand.

"This isn't going to be good." Jared said, squeezing Sam's hand.

"And now a little poem I like to call the fluffy clouds all look like footballs." Kwan said, happily.

"And stay out!" Goth 1 yelled.

Outside the bowling alley…

"If you like me, kiss me." Paulina said, looking at Danny.

"I'm the luckiest guy in the world." Danny said, smiling.

"Listen punk, you stay away from my girlfriend, dig?" Johnny asked.

"Beat it Johnny." Kitty said, leaving Paulina's body. "I'm Danny's girl now."

"Kitty? Johnny? Paulina. Oh great. I'm in the middle of a love rectangle!" Danny said, terrified.

Paulina is dazed.

"Whoops." Kitty said, entering Paulina's body. "Now. Where were we?"

"Uh, this is all a big mistake." Danny said, sadly.

"Yup. Your last one." Johnny said, looking at Danny.

"I'm going ghost!" Danny yelled, turning himself into Danny Phantom.

"Come on Kitty. Quit wiggin' gout and come back to me. I'll be good." Johnny said, looking at Kitty.

"Forget it low life." Kitty said, scoffing.

"Optional sun roof. Nice." Danny said, when a light shines over Johnny, making the Shadow vanish.

"Do your thing, man. I got your back." Tucker said, standing on the roof of the bowling alley and aiming the headlight at the Shadow.

"Get down here Foley!" Star said, angrily.

"Alright baby. Let's take this elsewhere, huh?" Johnny asked, looking at Kitty.

"Oh Danny. I knew you'd come back for me." Kitty said, clingy to Danny.

"Alright. That's it." Johnny said, running over to his motorcycle, jumping on it, and drove away in a green portal. "You want her, runt? You can keep her. I'm gone."

Fenton Works lab…

"He can ride in and out of the ghost zone when he wants now?" Danny asked.

"He stole some doo-dad from your dad's lab last time he was here and then he wired it to his bike. But is that really what you want to talk about?" Kitty asked.

"No. We should probably talk about something a little more important."

"Look, Danny, I didn't want to cause you any trouble."

"Well you're about 8 shadow attacks too late. What's the story?"

"It's like this." Kitty said, letting out a sigh. "Ever since Johnny modified his bike so it could come here, I'd been nagging at him to take me back. The city sights were so exciting. Unfortunately Johnny was taking in the sights, too. And by the sights, I mean every single girl in town. I-I remember how much Johnny couldn't stand you and the Black Pearl, so one of you was the perfect person to make him jealous. I was going to overshadow your friend, the spooky chick in black. You like her, don't you?"

"Sam? I-I…" Danny said, at a loss for words.

"I ended up in this body. Go fig." Kitty said, looking down at Paulina's body. "But the good news is you like her, too. Johnny's furious, I'm pretty, you're popular. Everybody wins."

"Except Paulina. You realize you're going to have to stop this, right?"

"Maybe. Or maybe Paulina might slip up and tell the town that Danny Fenton and Jared Shay are the ghost boys."

"It's Inviso-bill and boy wonder."

"See you at lunch tomorrow. Boyfriend." Kitty said, walking away from Danny in Paulina's body.

(Jared's POV)

Nasty Burger…

It is now lunchtime and I am eating two double bacon cheeseburgers and a large Coke. I am sitting at a table with Sam and Kwan.

"Sam? Are you sure you and Jared are not miffed about the poetry thing last night? Because you two seemed pretty miffed." Kwan said, looking at Sam.

"Why would we be miffed? Just because Jared and I can't sit at our regular table, and we can't go to our regular book store any more." Sam said, sarcastically.

"Isn't not like that place is the closest I can get to a Borders." I said, sadly.

"So we're cool then?" Kwan asked, while Sam and I left the table, with me carrying my burgers and Coke. "Hey Star."

"Tucker, hey." Sam said, frowning.

"Hey. What's up, Tuck?" I asked, placing my tray onto the table.

"Oh. Hey, Sam, Jared. So how are you two getting along with Kwan?" Tucker asked, looking between Sam and I.

"Great. How are things with Star?" Sam asked.

"Couldn't be better." Tucker said, frowning.

"He's driving us crazy! You can't even imagine what we're going through right now. He's like a human root canal. You've gotta help us!" Sam said, simultaneously with Tucker.

"She's driving me crazy! All I do is carry stuff for her. It's like I'm a butler or something. You've gotta help me!" Tucker said, simultaneously with Sam.

"This is why I stopped being friends with the popular kids or the jocks after high school. I only hung out with them to fit in." I said, laughing with Sam and Tucker. "I didn't like either group."

I continued to laugh with Sam and Tucker.

"Seriously Sam, Jared. Kwan and Star are stuck to us like gum on the bottom of a desk. We have to lose them." Tucker said, looking between Sam and I.

"I don't see how. I have the feeling we're tied to these two losers until…" Sam said.

"Sam? Tucker? Jared?" Star asked, approaching us with Kwan.

"Star and I were just talking and we decided we might be less cool than Danny and Paulina but we're way more cool than you three." Kwan said.

"Tucker, I hope we can still be friends." Star said, happily.

"Laters!" I said, excitedly.

Sam, Tucker, and I dash out of the Nasty Burger. I am carrying my burgers and my soda out of there.

"That was easy." Star said, looking at Kwan.

"They're in denial. I learned about that last night at the bookstore." Kwan said.

Amity Park…

Sam, Tucker, and I are on the sidewalk looking back at the Nasty Burger.

"That was easy. Now everything's back to normal." Tucker said.

"Almost. We still don't have Danny who's having a wonderful time with Paulina, I'm sure." Sam said.

"Nope. Danny had it the worst between us. He's stuck in a love triangle." I said, snacking on my second burger. "One where Paulina is possessed by Kitty."

"Yikes." Sam and Tucker said, at the same time.

Danny approached us and I finished my second double bacon cheeseburger and began sipping on my Coke.

"I'm losing my mind. I mean, Paulina's fairly high maintenance." Danny said.

"Really? I hadn't noticed." Sam said, sarcastically.

"Yeah, but worse she's being controlled by a ghost with a crush on Danny." Tucker said.

"Tucker, Kitty doesn't have a crush on Danny. I've seen this all the time on sitcoms. She's using Danny to make Johnny jealous." I said, still sipping on my Coke.

"I have an idea for how you can get rid of her, but it's pretty radical." Sam said, smirking.

"Danny? Anybody seen my Danny?" Paulina asked.

"Radical's good. Let's hear it." Danny said, happily.

Fenton Works Lab…

"Well, here goes nothing. I hope you're right about this, Sam." Danny said, looking at Sam.

"Good luck, dude." Tucker said.

"You'll need it." I said, tossing a chocolate chip cookie into my mouth.

"Remember, Danny. Be cool. Play it close to the vest." Sam said.

(Open POV)

Ghost Zone…

"You've got to take Kitty back. She is suffocating me. I need my space. You gotta help me!" Danny yelled.

"Okay okay. But you might have wanted to play that a little closer to the vest." Johnny 13 said, looking at Danny.

"Okay. Here's the plan."

Park…

Danny and Paulina are at the park.

"Oh Danny, this is so romantic." Paulina said, happily.

"Anything for you. You were worth fighting Johnny for." Danny said.

"Awww that's sweet."

"And you know what? I'd kick his butt a hundred times more and a hundred times harder if he ever shows his sorry face again."

"Oh. Is that right?" Johnny 13 asked, approaching Danny and Paulina.

"Johnny!" Paulina cheered.

"Hey doll. I came to get you back. By force if necessary." Johnny 13 said.

"Bring it on punk." Danny said, and he began fake fighting with Johnny. "My turn."

"Ow. I thought this was a pretend fight." Johnny said, rubbing his shoulder.

"Then pretend that didn't hurt."

"Be careful Danny. Don't hurt Johnny too bad." Paulina said, when Danny punched Johnny in the face. "Oh. Not the face."

"Looks like you beat me again dude." Johnny said, happily.

"That I did. And now I'm gonna finish you off for good. Seeya in oblivion Johnny." Danny said, looking at Johnny.

"So long kitty, I'll miss you." Johnny said, looking at Kitty.

"Noooo!" KItty yelled, leaving Paulina's body. "Don't you dare harm one greasy hair on Johnny's head."

"Greasy?" Johnny asked.

"I love him." Kitty said, walking over to Johnny. "You know that right? I love you."

"I love you, too, babycakes." Johnny said, walking over to his motorcycle.

"And anybody who tries to hurt my Johnny has to deal with me." Kitty said, climbing onto the motorcycle.

"Hey. I don't want to get between you two." Danny said, looking between Johnny and Kitty. "Kitty, you're a great girl but I'm nowhere near as cool as Johnny. And you two are obviously made for each other."

"Well, he's right. We were made for each other." Kitty said, happily.

"You, uh, want to finish this conversation back home?" Johnny asked.

"Just to make sure you can't come back…" Danny said, destroying the Fenton gadget Johnny wired to his bike.

"What? Hey man! That wasn't part of the deal." Johnny said, annoyed.

"Deal? What deal?" Kitty asked.

"Aw crud." Johnny said, driving away on his motorcycle with Kitty.

"Should have played that a little closer to the vest." Danny said, flying back to the park and helps Paulina up. "Um, hi. Do you know who I am by any chance?"

"Sure. You're that ghost boy who saved my life with his friend's help. Twice apparently. Invisobill, right?" Paulina asked.

"Uh, I need a publicist." Danny said, sadly.

(Jared's POV)

Casper High…

It is now the next day, and I am listening to the RWBY Volume 9 soundtrack on my iPhone 15 Pro Max.

"Hey Paulina." Danny said, happily.

"Why are you even talking to me?" Paulina asked, walking away from Danny.

"Yes!" A student said, excitedly.

"Can you believe that? Paulina's still in love but with the wrong me." Danny said, annoyed.

"Welcome back to the fold, fellow loser." Sam said.

"Hope you had fun being popular." I said, happily.

"Hey Fenton. I need that cool kid membership packet back." Kwan said.

"Better yet, we'll beat it out of ya after school. Fenturd." Dash said.

"Oh well. I have to say, it's good to be back among friends. But the popularity sure was nice while it lasted." Danny said, looking between Sam, Tucker, and I.

"I'll bet. But you know what the really rotten thing is? Danny, you were only one hall pass punch away from that frozen yogurt." Tucker said, walking away from us and over to Mikey. "Hi Mikey."

"Don't talk to me. You're not nearly cool enough." Mikey said, walking away from Tucker.

Memory Tardis…

"Luke must be having a banging time in UNIT." Clyde said, letting out a sigh.

"Oh, you would have loved the Brigadier." Jo said, looking at Clyde.

"I met him. I mean, he was retired by then, but he helped Sarah Jane and Jared break into the Black Archive to deal with some alien tag-team trouble." Clyde said.

"Wasn't that the adventure against Mrs. Wormwood and Kaagh?" I asked, eating some chocolate chip cookies. "God. That adventure was a doozy."

"It was."

"Like I said. The older you get, the more people you miss." Jo said, looking between Clyde and I.

"Did you love him?" Clyde asked.

"Who?"

"Your Doctor, the dandy. The one that had Bessie." I said, smiling. "Who also liked to do Venusian Aikido."

"Oh, yes. Oh, I loved him so much. But not in the same way that I loved Cliff, although I wish the Doctor was here now, you know, helping me pick up the pieces. I loved him the same way that you loved Sarah Jane, Clyde. And I loved him the same way that you loved Team RWBY, Jared. I bet you miss being around Team RWBY, Jared, darling." Jo said, sadly.

"Yeah. Yeah, you're right." Clyde said.

"You know, Team RWBY isn't dead, Jo, They're still at Vacuo, fighting. Living. The usual." I said, tossing a chocolate chip cookie into my mouth. "And you're right with me missing Team RWBY. Those adventures were a lot of fun."

"Of course I'm right. I've lived too long. I've seen too much to be wrong. And that's why I'm telling you now, you have got to tell her." Jo said, looking at Clyde.

"Tell who...what?" Clyde asked.

"Oh, Clyde! Don't play games with me."

"I play a mean Hungry Hippo."

"No! No, Clyde, don't just joke this away. We're not Time Lords. Our time is short. Don't waste it. If you love Rani, you just jolly well go and tell her."

"How did you know?"

"Oh, my darling, Jared and I saw it every time the two of you were together. And I saw it again just now. It hurts. I know that love."

"Same. It reminds me so much of Zoey and Chase. God, even after all that time that passes. You still end up missing each other. You should see Rani again, Clyde!" I said, excitedly. "Make Clani canon. It is what Sarah would have wanted."

"She's so busy, you know? And what she does is important." Clyde said, looking down at the floor. "What do I do? I just... I write daft comic book stories."

"Oh, stories are important, Clyde. We're made of stories, and you're missing the most important one of all. Mine wasn't the Doctor, it was Cliff." Jo said, happily.

"And mine wasn't Team RWBY or the Doctor, even if I loved them so much. It was Clara Oswald. My Impossible Girl." I said, tossing another chocolate chip cookie into my mouth. "Now Clyde, don't miss your story with Rani. My time with Clara is running out. I don't want you to lose yours with Rani."

"I don't know how. You know, I... I've just always been the joker." Clyde said, looking up at Jo and I.

"Then tell her in a joke. Oh, but tell her. Our time together, that's the most precious thing we have. Don't waste it." Jo said.

"You're right. Okay, I'm gonna to find her." Clyde said, getting up from the chair.

"Yes."

"Jo? Are you and Jared coming?" Clyde asked.

"No. No, I think I'll just stay here a bit longer with Jared. See what other memories come to call. Oh, take care. The Tardis will show you the way. It always does. Good luck, my darling." Jo said.

"And there he goes." I said, when Clyde is transported away. I walked over to a Metebelis 3 blue crystal, picked it up, and tossed it over to Jo who caught it. "There you go."

"Thank you, Jared, darling." Jo said, sitting down in her chair again, holding the crystal. "Oh, cariad, the Doctor brought us together once."

Someone's shadow is cast onto the console. Jo looks up.

"Oh, Jo." Clifford said, nearby.
