Someone suddenly back hugged her and the bag in her hand fell off at the sudden movement. She was well aware of this warm touch as she felt this warmth before. This scent of cologne is none other than his.

" Liyan? What are you doing here?"

Without breaking the hug in a trembling voice he replied , " Where were you? Did you know how scared I was!? "

He was worried about me? Was he waiting here for me? Somewhat this makes me feel so good and it's making my heart pound . He is holding tightly in his embrace , I can't deny that I keep on wanting this. I keep on craving for more.

" Have some water." I offered him water after inviting him inside . He was sweating a lot cause he has been standing there for quite a lot of time. He was looking around my house when I came inside to change as I was covered in mud .

Her house is such a lovely place. It's decorated with plants and wherever your eyes go it's just books and books . She sure is a bookworm. I couldn't reach her all day so my mind went blank . I thought she was hiding from me. I thought that she might be afraid of me again and ran away. Mian Gu investigated and couldn't find out her whereabouts that made me more mad. I can't say afraid cause it was clear anger that was raging in my eyes. But the moment I saw her come out of the lift and her tired steps towards her door, I forgot all my anger in a second. Her small legs were barely even touching the ground.

" What are you thinking so quietly?"

" I thought you ran away again ." I put the coffee mug on her table then sat against her in the living room. Her house is not that big but it's very a homely place. She wore a oversized t-shirt and shorts. Then she sat on the sofa then started to look around her arms and legs .

" Do you always dress like this on front of outsiders? "

She without looking at him , focusing on her feet answered in a calm tone ," Are you a stranger?"

Her answer made me feel fluttered , she's not considering me as an outsider. That's why she's comfortable around me. I remember the last time she was around me she was freaked out but not uncomfortable. I guess I've begun to make a place in her heart.

" What the hell? How did you get hurt?"

" Liyan I went on hiking and it's obvious to get hurt on these trips. "

He suddenly went to her pulled her legs towards him then wrapped her legs around him to check her bruises for himself.

" What are you doing? Let me go."

" Don't no so troublesome. Look how much you got hurt. Where's the first aid kit?"

She looked at him for a while and he didn't seem like he would give up on his commands. Then exhales then pointed towards the drawer next to the sofa.

" Stay here don't run around. "

" I'm not a child. I can take care of myself. "

He laughed mockingly then shook his head as she was pretending to be strong but at the same moment she would occasionally express her discomfort because of the bruises.

" Why are you laughing? You are underestimating me, I can do anything I want!"

" I know you can and you don't need my help I just thought I needed to check if you are okay. "

He kept on applying ointments around her knee and put the right amount of alcohol to avoid infection. He blew air very gently and bandaged her legs . At this time she was looking at him astonished. Suddenly a drop of tear fell on his hands.

He looked up at her and saw her eyes were filled with tears that were about to flow out at any moment. Her red flushed checks and noses were like freshly showered with pain as well as gratefulness. He stretched his hand to her then cupped her face in a calm tone asked her, " does it hurt too much? Are you okay?"

She gulped then finally she let her guard down and tears kept coming out of her eyes continuously. She started to cry out loud like a child .

" What happened? Are you fine Shiyi?"

While wiping her tears , in a flushed , between her hiccups replied ," why are you so good to me? Can't you just leave me alone at my state?"

He couldn't understand what she meant but his gaze became even more comforting towards her. He wiped off her tears , " yours eyes are all swollen. Look at your nose , it looks like freshly picked out cherry. "

" Go away. You are teasing me. I don't wanna talk to you. "

He smiled then adjusted her hair behind her ears them patted her head. He treats her exactly like a child.

After putting away the first aid kit he looked at her , she tip toed to the kitchen even though he asked her not to move. Her long flowing hair was all over her face as she couldn't adjust it because of the scratched on her palm.

" I told you not to move. You are so disobedient. "

She took a glass of water with real effort , " I thought you would be thirsty. " Then smiled at him , her dimples and red eyes are so alluring.
