Something was certainly missing in my life. I was not feeling great with the normality in my daily routine. I was waiting for a certain someone. I don't even have his number or any other ways to contact him. My parents once asked about our progress, but I just kept quiet. I had no answer for that question. I continuously checked my phone . At that rate my department head also scolded me for not being attentive. Why wasn't he calling me back? Where is he? What is he doing? I had no idea. Since the day I met him I kept trying to run away from him but now when he'd finally gone I feel so alone...
Even without him I feel so restless. When he was around me I certainly was afraid but strangely I also felt safe. He made me feel at home. Now he's away from me it has been a whole week. I haven't heard a single word from him. My heart is yearning for him , his gentle voice , the way he calls my name in a slight britishly accent . I miss him very badly. Looking at Xia and Jiashen somewhat I feel I am almost like Xia. She is not sure if she wants to be with him or not. She can't let go of Jiashen nor accept him. On the other hand Jiashen is so sincere about Xia.
I just got off work , it has been raining continuously for three days now. I hate the rain it makes things more worse . I drove out in my car . The road is so empty and foggy. I can barely even feel my hands they are very cold and stiff . Maybe because I attended three back to back surgeries today.
*Suddenly a hard break*
Shit...I didn't realize and drove right in front of his office. What the hell am I thinking? What do I want? Why does my heart feel this way?
Even in my unconsciousness my heart led me directly to him! I got off my car and stood in front of the building for while blankly looking at the huge building of Ruan industry. Even the cold rain and freezing breeze doesn't bother me anymore cause the fire in my heart is much more hazardous than it.
NO! I can't deny anymore! I can't hold back anymore!
She walked towards the entrance. In a full wet state . Her hazel brown coat and her knee length white dress are drenched. Her soaking wet hair spread all around her back and her face. She walked towards the reception . At that moment Mian Gu was passing through that way. He saw her and immediately recognized her.
"Madam Lan , what is wrong!? What happened to you!?"
She is her breaking voice and red hastily eyes replied," I..I..I'm fine...is Liyan here?"
" Yes sir is in the conference room. Please follow me I'll take you to him." All the staff around the area were looking at her continuously out of curiosity. Her state was very deplorable.
The meeting was going just fine but still it felt so empty. I haven't had a word with her in a week. I wonder if she's fine. I can't even consentrate in work. She is all over my mind. Just then the doors opened and my eyes found it's tranquility. As if everything faded away as soon as I saw her taking slow steps forward. Her state was so miserable. Her steps were unstable , she was dripping down. She entered the room then looked at me. I stood up from my chair. And immediately ran towards her while opening my coat . She slowly spread her arms at me, but her body was too weak to even take another step yet she tried to come at me. Draping her around my coat I embraced her tightly. Her ice cold gasp touched my neck as I hugged her tightly.
" Everyone let's call it a day." Mian Gu led everyone out .
The door closed we still kept hugging each other to our hearts content. She let out a little sob," where were you Liyan? I ..I missed you so .." before completing her sentence she started to cry . She couldn't hug me back because her body was giving up on the weight . I cupped her face after adjusting her hair strands behind her ear. She sobbed for a second then with her tearful eyes tried to look at me.
" I am going to ask you third time . If you don't agree then I'm going to throw you in the sea *sighed* Yes I am threatening you Shiyi. What can I do? Even I am desperate."
" You don't have to , cause I agree..."
