" I don't have the courage to like you right now. And I don't think that I might turn out to be a good partner like you want me to be. "

" Who said I want someone who is a machine?"

She looked at him totally confused at his quote. She was not expecting this at all.

" I don't want a partner who will nod and laughs whenever I want her to . I do not want to someone who will obediently follow my every command without her personal opinion and without using her mind. I want someone who is compatible with me. Someone who will strive to stand beside me . Not follow me like a mindless creature. "

" Liyan I ...I.." she kept stammering . She's very short of words for him . The invisible wall that was separating them was turning out to be thicker . At that moment , his phone started to ring. He ignored the call. But one of his butlers came upstairs to find him saying it was urgent.

" Sir manager Gu has been calling you since morning. But because of the low network he couldn't get through. He is saying it is urgent ."

" It's okay Liyan get the call. I also have to call home ." He took the call and went inside the house. She , on the other hand , was left on the roof top , " hey Xia , how's it going in work?"

" Not good sis, your patients are being very impatient."

" Okay I'll be on my way as soon as possible."

She hung up the call and turned around finding him standing there. " Liyan there's an emergency in he hospital. I have to leave. "

" I have to go to work too. There's some situation in work. Come I'll drop you on way."

" Sure." The whole way they didn't say a word. He kept answering his calls one after one. It was quite surprising to see ' THE PRESIDENT RUAN ' is so caught up in work. He is totally a different person in work. His voice and his manner change when he's serious. All that time she kept silent and looking outside the window. He talks is calm pace. After quite some time the stopped dew to traffic on the highway. He rested his head on the seat and looked at her while pressing his forehead with another arm . She was leaning on the open car window and the flowing air was causing her loosen hair to emanate . The light ray of moon was falling on her face as she was peacefully sleeping beside him .

I looked at her for a while , there is an unexpected problem in with work that caused me a sudden headache . I answered calls continuously all the way here. I didn't even have the time to explain to her or talk to her on the way. My mind was completely caught up in work but suddenly...when my fell on her sleeping face I recalled the first day we met . That day she was at the verge of passing out too. That is the first thing that caught my eye. She always quivers even at my slightest detail, but now she's calm and quiet and most importantly she's peaceful within my domain. I always apprehend the thought of hurting her or seeing her sad. That's why I have tried my best to stay calm in front of her. Even after her refutation that too twice! I stayed calm because I absolutely want to abstain from the idea of even thinking of hurting her. I need to know what I want from this fragile little girl. What keeps me drawing towards her over and over again , exactly which part of this little girl is what attracts me.

The car stopped by her hospital. She got up with a sudden startle .

" What time is it? Did I sleep for too long?"

" No it's fine. We are in the parking lot of your hospital."

" Oh...then are you going to work now?"

" Yes, there's something that I need to take care of."

" Hmm...then I won't delay your time. " She fixed her dress and hair then got off the car. I took her coat ," not taking this?"

" Oh I forgot." She grabbed on side of her coat and I tightened my grip .
