Chapter 4: The Plan And The Students.

(Shortly after, Kenji is still resting in the hospital, he lays asleep till morning for the next day to begin)

A Slightly muffled voice: Hey Honey, how was your first day of school?

Kid Kenji: it was okay Mom

Mom: Aww, are you sure-

Kenji: Mom, where's Dad, you barely talk about him and the other kids at school made fun of me for it…

(Kenjis mom surprised by the twelve year olds question, but smiles in relief)

Mom: don't worry about the other kids, they have no idea what you've been through…about your dad he sadly passed away before you were born, he got in a car accident, it makes me sad just thinking about him and what happened…

(Kenji hug his mom feeling guilty about asking)

Mom: But don't worry about everyone else, as long as i'm here no one will ever hurt you. what i also know is that your dad would love you, very much.

Kenji: (in his head) at the time i knew mom was lying about dad but i didn't want to question her even more, she wasn't as sick back then, it started to get worse though. i guess now that she's gone it's kind of ironic how i'm getting hurt all the time.

(It struck 9am the first lesson was ready to start, kenji started walking to his lesson. In the hall way and on his way to class)

"SMACK"

A voice: ahhhh!! hey! watch we're your going

Kenji: Oh sorry my bad, i wasn't paying attention, i didn't mean to bump into you…

The Girl:Yea you better be sorry, now i'm gonna be late to class, and it's all your fault.

Kenji: look i'm sorry i didn't mean to i just recovered from my injuries.

The Girl: whatever…i gotta get to class

(She brushes past him walking in the other direction, both walking the other way)

Kenji: she was pretty weird…wonder who that was.

(Kenji arrives to Ms Ace' class in a hurry, just making it in time before the teacher arrived)

Ms Ace: Good morning everyone, you may sit down now.

(the class all sit in repetition)

Ms Ace: Great, now you all know the basics of magic and where it comes from we will all be testing your skills and knowledge with the World Series Exams.

(the class jump for excitement and joy, The World Series Exams are a series of test where magic schools come together and compete against eachother in set of trials challenges and battles, one of the most competitive tournaments in history as it allows you to move up in the ranks to move closer to become a hero, even the most strongest heroes in the world like to come and watch to see what's next to come in the next generation of heroes)

Kenji: i guess it could be fun to try i guess, now with all my training with Momoku i'm sure it could be worth it…

Ms Ace: you will be in 3 man teams throughout the tournament and each exam will put all your skills to the test with teamwork, strength, stamina, smarts, your limits and pressure and much more.I give every one next luck with their training and your teams will be decided by tomorrow and the tournament will start in a few weeks so make sure you're ready by then.

Kenji (in his head) i wonder who my teammates are im kind of scared to find out as i prefer to work solo but a suppose two other people doesn't seem bad.

(the class ends later that day)

Kenji: i'm still wondering who that girl was i could sense how strong she was from when she walked by me, it was bright and fierce at the time.

Kenji: I'm also still thinking about why that brute attacked me and what i wanted, maybe i should ask someone to help investigate and look into it more, why would a brute, come after and attack me of all people?

(Kenji arrives back into his room, thinking to himself)

(Momoku visits the teachers lounge again and talking to the other teachers including Ms Ace)

Teacher 1: has the boy explained why the brute attacked him?

Momoku: no, not yet we need to be more patient.

Teacher 1: We need to find out! we've been waiting for too long, this could cause threat to the school and potentially put everyone in danger!

Momoku: Calm down, Mr Night everything is okay, even if there is a threat i'll take the blame for the destruction, you just have to trust me.

Ms Ace: i personally think the boy knows nothing.

Momoku: we have to wait and see, in my experience he knows something.

Night: even though this school has a lot of security and it's super rare for attacks we can handle it, the teachers being the strongest of course, but we have to keep this stuff about the brute to ourselves from the other teachers.

Momoku and Ace: Agreed.

Ms Ace: now let's get the others and figure out the teams for the exams…

(All three of them teleport away from the meeting space)

(Later that day, Kenji walks by the training area to grab some water in the vending machine, and here's a person training)

Kenji: (whispers) woah, that's some pretty cool training, he looks strong how is that even possible? is he fighting someone invisible? wait no he's punching the air? not that either… he's manipulating the earth to parry rocks in the air and punching them before they land with shockwaves and repelling them at the wall. So, he has earth magic?

The Person: Hyaah! (smash) Hyahh! (smash) Hyahh! (smash)

(Kenji walks in to the training area)

Kenji: uh…hi, that's some cool training you're doing, you're an earth magic user right?

The Person: Hmmm (annoyed from kenjis interaction) get lost.

Kenji: Ah cmon, i don't really know anyone since i've been here…

The Person: how's that my problem?

(In anger Kenji lashes out throwing a blow to the person however it ends up being futile as he effortlessly blocks it and pushes kenji to the ground)

The Person: you disturbing my training…just get lost, i won't say it again.

Kenji: Fine.

(Walking off in despair and anger, Kenji Grits his teeth and quenches his fist)

Kenji: Tch! i'm too weak, i need more training, at least i found out how strong he was.

Kenji: Can i at least get your name?

(He ignores the question and continues his training)

The Person: Hyaah! (crash) Hyaah! (crash) Hyaah! (crash)

Kenji: …
