Chapter 3: The Power Of Magic.

Teacher: As some of you may know, my name is Ms Ace, i will be telling you the basics of magic, everything it does and what you can do with it. To start off from the beginning, the legend states that magic existed before creation it's self and it eventually expanded into everything that ever existed, this is what we call "the big bang", then came life and everything else after it. Anyway, magic exists everywhere, and in everything, including people, which are called magicules, the reason we're able to use magicules for any purple is because of one specific rule, when we want to use magic the magicules change into physical energy and matter, that's how we can use magic to create bigger and stronger the attacks, magicules are also linked to stamina and will, the more stamina someone has the more magicules they have, and more magicules result into longer endurance, speed, more precision. However, there's a big misconception that people have with magicules is that it they have more magicules it doesn't effectively make them stronger it just depends on their damage output as their magic would be the same as their physical potential in normal attacks. Will power pays a big factor in magic and strength as it's connected to all emotions and emotions can also multiply your magic depending on the will, a strong will would grant more damage and develop more abilities within your magic style, and a person with a weaker will power might not have the same effect but don't take it lightly, that doesn't make them inherently weaker.

Kenji: (in his head) this is interesting, i didn't know this before.

Ms Ace: Phew, this is a lot of information, so the main categories to remember are will power, stamina and magicules. Now onto the fun stuff, Magic can take any physical element, force or something far greater then our minds can imagine, since it exists everywhere we can manipulate whatever we want, but most of the time it's only one type of magic, it's the ability to take control and manipulate the type of magic and turn into a lethal, supporting or anything you like, depending on what magic type you behold, you develop and manipulate it to form different spells, moves or abilities, for instance my magic is Shadow Magic, i can manipulate and control shadows into any form i like,

(Ms Ace creates a ball of dark energy in to palm of her hand)

The Class: Woaaahhh!!

Ms Ace: Pretty cool, right? okay, back to the lesson. What if haven't said so far about magic is what you can develop your magic into, as we all know magicules exist in everything and everywhere around us, i'm going to be talking about Enhancement, Enhancing your magic is pulling in the magicules around you and turning them into a spiritual and more organic type of force, and when you do this, depending on how well you master it and how much spiritual energy you can take on you can multiply your normal attacks and magic attacks making them stronger, for most people when it's mastered fully it's a 10x multiplier for all attacks and physical attributes, what most people notice when using enhancing they're senses and physical awareness are highly sensitive as it also amps those forming a type of future sight or precognition as you can sense the persons or opponents moves by maybe sensing there change in breath, heartbeat, cracking of limbs or just any small details, it's one of the hardest magic abilities to master fully, and it's also hard to control, when someone does master it fully to its full potential, don't be mistaken there's still more to learn, when Enhancement is mastered fully you can then develop into Level 2, what this is, it's kind of similar to future sight but far more developed as it's able to sense the magicules in another person and tell the magic type and how much they have, it's also very helpful in battle as it's able to sense magic type attacks before they happen, kind of like the six sense metaphor. Level 3 is another multiplier for all stats like speed, durability, attacks and amping them to 25x.

The Bell: RING! RING! RING!

Ms Ace: We will finish this tomorrow, class dismissed you may leave.

(All students begin to pile up when leaving the classroom, Kenji is the last to leave, as he walks out the door the teacher calls his name)

Ms Ace: Kenji?

Kenji: uh yes Ms?

Ms Ace: can i talk to you for a second?

Kenji: yea of course

Ms Ace: okay great, did you learn anything in class?

Kenji: yeah, actually it was quite easy to understand as well

Ace: amazing, glad you liked it. Anyway i'm going to ask you a question, why do you want to learn and use magic? do you want to help people and become a hero or is it a different reason?

Kenji: Um….I haven't really thought about that after my mom died, i used to love the thought of being a hero and saving people, but now i guess what's the point if you can't save the person that loved you the most…Oh uh, sorry i didn't mean to make it so dark.

Ace: Hey, Hey you don't need to apologise, it's not your fault after all, from my experience, talking about your feelings helps and actually talking to someone and from teaching at this school, many kids like you struggle to find a purpose with magic so you're not alone, i understand that better than anyone, listen to my advice when i say this, your mom dying is a tragic story and i'm sorry to hear that but your dream and your desperation to become a hero and protect people shouldn't be neglected as everyone needs a purpose in life so you know what i say? tell the world and put your self out there, you may not know how right now but when that time comes, you'll know. Okay now you should go, i heard that Momoku is expecting you in the training area.

Kenji: thank you for trying to help i'll let you know if i find it. See you later.

(Kenji leaves her classroom in confusion but also with a smile with the potential of finding a new purpose)

15 Minutes Later…

Momoku: you're late.

Kenji: Sorry-

Momoku: Stop apologising, it makes you sound weak. Showing weakness in a battle is the first sign of failure.

Kenji: …

Momoku: i'm going to train you to get stronger and to control your power to the next level, we're going to do some basic training drills, for this lesson you have to land one hit on me.

Kenji: one hit?

Momoku: think you can manage that?

Kenji: i guess.

Momoku: all right, let's see what you can do.

(Kenji aims his hands and shooting three fireballs BOOM!!!which explode near Momokus face)

Kenji: (in his head) since he can't see, that loud of an explosion should be enough so he can't hear, now i can go for a surprise attack.

(The smoke clears as Kenji brushes through it)

Kenji: what? he's not here? i missed my attack.

Momoku: Good idea but you lacked execution, trying to target an opponents weak spot is a quick way to end a battle.

Kenji: Grrr…

(Kenji then leaps towards his superior, Momoku dodges again and slams kenji to the ground, pressing down on his face so he can't move)

Momoku: I have to say Kenji, i admire your intelligence, just don't let your emotions get the best of you. Another weakness while in a battle, you're so helpless, if you can't even touch a blind man, how do you except to actually beat an opponent, i have no idea how you managed to beat that Brute, you must've just got lucky.

Kenji: (in his head) stay calm, he's only trying to make you angry, concentrate on your breathing, use your head.

(In a last stitch effort, Kenji sweeps for Momokus leg reaching out to grab it,

Momoku has to jump above and leaps backwards)

Kenji: Dammit! (punches the ground) He's too fast, it's like he knows what i'm doing before i even i do it.

Kenji: you're not even trying, you're way faster than me, it's impossible for me to do anything?

Momoku: you've made three mistakes so far weakness, anger and giving up are all the common mistakes alot of people makes during fights, they all show failure and transgression.

Kenji: you talk a lot, i'm gonna end this

(He uses Enhancement)

Kenji: Maybe i'll be able to tag him now

Momoku: Oh wow, i didn't except you to know enhancement.

Kenji: (Kenji uses the fire balls again to disorientate Momokus Hearing BOOM!!!, the smoke appears in front of his opponent yet again)

(Kenji goes in for an attack swinging his fist at the smoke, he's then greeted by Momokus smile)

(Momoku blocks the attack from above with his arm, they swap hands as Kenji tries to land a tag on his body, using all his strength)

Momoku: it's fascinating isn't it? me using one arm to block your attacks, i'm getting kind of bored.

(Momoku grabs Kenjis wrist and with the other grabbing his Neck and using a little of hes strength, releasing a lethal blow to Kenjis stomach, breaking 3 ribs, Kenji lies on the ground in pain and humiliation)

Momoku: Good work, Kenji i'll call the nurse to help you, i liked your plan though, i've seen worse. honestly this was fun…

(Momoku Wiping his hands as he walks out the room)

30 Minutes later…

(Kenji woke up in the hospital room, seems like all damages were healed by magic again)

Kenji: He…Was…Way too strong.

Later in the night…

(Click Clack Click Clack of shoes walk down a mysterious hallway, with a door at the end of it, Click Clack Click Clack)

(They open the door)

Unknown: How's project X going, Sir?

???: Very well, Very well indeed.
