You're Not Allowed To Leave Here Alive!

"...What?" Tai Mu's voice shook and his eyes turned bloodshot with anger. His expression contorted and he rushed forward without thinking. He brandished his greatsword and it sliced through the air like a giant shadow.

The greatsword was about to slice off the pink-haired girl's head in a matter of miliseconds, but just before it happened she dodged out of the way as if it was nothing.

"Sorry! I can't die here, I still have to report back, after all." The pink-haired girl said with a playful smile. She then pulled out her morning star and smashed heavily into the ground, shattering the floor and making it hard to move around.

Everyone ran out of the small room and spread out through different parts of the ruins. The pink-haired girl orginially chased Tai Mu, but she then encountered Edward and then began to chase him.

Then, she caught up with Khoru and chased him before finally getting to Tian Mei. Despite all of that, she never killed any of them, or rather, she never got the chance.

Believe it or not, her meeting up with all four of them was their own plan! They met up in dire situations across the ruins and redirected her attention every time.

The pink-haired girl began to catch on to this little scheme, so she released her true cultivation, which was at the 4th stage of the foundation building realm, and began chasing everyone extremely swiftly.

Everyone began to have a hard time coming in swiftly enough and Edward was even injured. The morning star slightly impaled his back, but even then it caused a bloody injury that hindered him.

"We have to fight back or we'll die either from that beast or Hao Jianyu!" Tai Mu's voice rumbled throughout half of the ruins after he amplified it with his Spirit Qi. Everyone silently agreed and met up with each other to fend off Hao Jianyu.

"Hao Jianyu, why are you doing this!?" Tai Mu frantically asked. He lifted his greatsword to defend against the incoming morning star, which placed a nice dent into the sword. Luckily, it was a greatsword and naturally sturdy, so that dent hardly affected Tai Mu.

Everyone except Edward summoned their Martial Spirits. Edward looked shameful as if he was hiding something embarrassing and only readied his bow in case Hao Jianyu made any sudden movements.

"Attack her!" Tai Mu called out. Khoru, Edward, and Tian Mei all flew out at the same time with their Martial Spirits and weapons to attack Hao Jianyu.

Khoru executed his sword-art which sliced through the air and left traces of yin and yang energies floating around. Tian Mei used a mysterious sword-art that cut neatly through the air and even bent it like a crescent.

Her sword-art was powerful and caused the Spirit Qi in the air to fluctuate.

Hao Jianyu haughtily laughed as she swung her morning star around and summoned her Martial Spirit. It was a woman wearing a witch's hat and had enchanting dark purple eyes that could arouse another person's mind and probably control it.

'Mental Martial Spirit?' Khoru immediately recognized the Martial Spirit as a mental-humanoid-type and became cautious. He didn't dare to get to close to Hao Jianyu in case he'd accidentally enter the Martial Spirit's proximity.

As he executed his sword-art, Hao Jianyu's eyes flickered with cruelty and excitement as she swung the morning star around as if she were playing with a yo-yo. The morning star conjured up strong winds.

Hao Jianyu suddenly released some of the lax she had on the morning star's chain and let it fly through the air like an orbital meteor!

It demolished everything around it like a wrecking ball of destruction and left a burning red charred mark in its wake. Whatever Spirit Qi it possessed had to be dangerous.

"Amazing!" Khoru looked at the morning star in awe but shook his head and remembered what he was doing.

As the morning star swung through the air, it quickly closed in on him and flew over like a beaming jet. It's speed utterly defied its weight and swung swiftly through the ruins.

The morning star was so close to Khoru's body, but he executed the final strike of the Air Collapsing Yin-Yang Sword-Art, which invoked a major amount of yin and yang energies in the air that repelled the wind of the morning star, as well as a bit of its force.

Regardless, the morning star still flung towards Khoru despite some of its force being repelled and diverged.

"I got you!" Tai Mu shouted as he butted in and shielded Khoru with his greatsword. Khoru silently breathed a sigh of relief since he didn't know what he'd if that morning star continued on its path of chaos.

The morning star slammed hard into Tai Mu's greatsword and caused another dent in its blade.

Hao Jianyu yanked on the chain of the morning star and sent it flying back to her. She then spun around and threw it towards the party again, watching as it destroyed things.

Everyone dodged the attack, but in due time the attacks that Hao Jianyu dished out only got faster and stronger. Everyone was running low on stamina and Spirit Qi and they were gradually being pushed back.

Khoru had been dodging and repelling the attacks the best he could, but he could feel that he would lose by the next attack despite having his low-devil aura activated.

'I'm not dying here!' He thought to himself as he hastily retreated alongside the rest of the party.

"Follow me to the entrance!" Khoru shouted to them. They ran towards the entrance of the ruins with all of their remaining energy. Not only could they hear Hao Jianyu's devilish screams and see her destructive morning star, but they sensed the presence of the 5th stage magical beast getting closer and closer.

Originally, its presence was far away, somewhere at the opposite of the ruins, but now it was only a few corner-turns away from them!

"We have to think of something!" Tian Mei uttered with a stumbling voice. Her tone was off and she was sweating buckets.

"I've an idea, but you'd have to place your trust in me!" Edward called out with labored breathing and cold sweat running down his face. His situation was way more dire than everyone else's considering he had already been injured before they tried to repel Hao Jianyu.
