The Greatest Monarch

After an unexpected accident, the king of Zion went into a state of coma. The ruler should be the heart of his people but the truth was entirely different from this. The coma seemed more like a blessing for the people of Zion. They wished for this blessing to never vanish. Why? That was because if it did not vanish and if he died, the holy church would take over the kingdom and they would no longer have to serve under a trash king anymore. But after he woke up, something even better happened. The King has lost his memory, even his personality was completely rewritten. When the trash king came to know the wrong deeds he had committed earlier, it pierced into his chest like sharp arrows making him feel guilty beyond what words could explain. He decided to change the shape of his kingdom and become the strongest king ever with the help of the "system" he got! Will he be able to dominate the world? Will he be able to enjoy the luxurious life of a king? Those questions can only be answered when you read his story and dive into the world of fantasy! Note: This is a remastered novel of my previous novel. After I had to undergo surgery I could no longer write, which made people lose interest in my novel and I actually wanted to rewrite my novel too. There were many mistakes and loopholes that I wanted to fix so here I am... writing my novel once again.

War: Preparation (I)

Andrew looked at his shaking hands with a calm face and rested his head on them as he was sitting on his bed "I thought I was used to killing... but I guess not huh?" He pulled his hair and whined, feeling a weird emotion he could not express or explain "God damn it..."

Andrew took some deep breaths and somehow managed to force himself to calm down. At least outside if not inside.

"Since I have declared war I should also prepare," Andrew mumbled and laid down on the bed "Now that I think... killing those bastards was a bad choice. I could have forced them to die in war." By "bastards" he meant dead soldiers, ministers, and court members.

Andrew rubbed his chin and wondered what exactly he should do. He had no idea how the war was fought and neither did he know how to command soldiers in the war.

"Wait a minute..." Andrew opened the main window of the system and then opened the option he had unlocked by completing his second tutorial mission and has only checked once "Open main window. Open store."

The color of the system was the same: black background and golden text, however that time there was also a picture of items that were showing up on the front page. The new panel was an exact copy of a modern online shopping website.

The store had many recommended items, magic spells, power, knowledge, and so on, on the front page that he could buy, however most of them were too expensive for him (nearly above 10,000+ sovereignty points) which made him let out a loud sigh.

Andrew clicked on the rectangular field on the top of the panel that had a magnifying glass logo on it and as he did a digital keyboard appeared on the panel.

The keyboard had all the alphabet keys from a to z in normal format and on the right side of the keyboard were numbering keys from 1-9 and then 0.

Andrew typed "Knowledge related to the army" and searched it. Countless items appeared as a result however they were also as expensive as the one on the front page of the store. Some were even more expensive.

Andrew sighed deeply before mumbling "Why am I so poor?" Andrew felt disappointed when but just the next moment his eyes fell on the rectangle field that had "filter" written on it just below the search bar.

Andrew squinted his eyes before clicking on it and another panel appeared next to the main store panel.

It did not take Andrew a second to understand what that was. He quickly set up the filter and applied the filter to the search result from before.

Moral Boost x1; 3 sovereignty points

Political Knowledge x1; 5 sovereignty points

Army Formation Knowledge x1; 8 sovereignty points

Justice And Equality Knowledge x1; 15 sovereignty points

Great Wisdom and Knowledge Of War King x1; 17 sovereignty points

Charismatic Talker x1; 19 sovereignty points

[1] [2] [3] [4] [5]..... [256]

Andrew read each one of them and their description by clicking on them. Each one of them was very intimidating, and he wanted to buy everything, however, he did not waste his points. He remembered which skills he liked and on which page they were on as he read about skills.

After reaching the 12th page of the panel the price of skills was above 160 sovereignty points meaning it was above Andrew's budget, so he sighed and decided to choose between the items he liked.

Andrew found all the items under his budget were useless or/and could be learned very easily from books, but he did not have that much time nor did he want to waste time by reading books like those especially when he declared war. Andrew wanted to buy any useful power, magic, or item but all the things he liked were too expensive for the current him.

Andrew closed his eyes and thought about which one of the skills he liked should be most useful for the current situation. After rubbing his chin and thinking over the matter for a few minutes Andrew finally opened his eyes and raised his hand to buy a total of six items at the cost of 158 sovereignty points which left him with only 2 sovereignty points.

The items Andrew bought were: [Moral Boost] x1, [Army Formation Knowledge] x1, [Great Wisdom and Knowledge Of War King] x1, [Charismatic Talker] x1, [Calm Thinking] x1, and [Battlefield Tactic] x1.

Andrew felt really bankrupt at that moment, however, it was already too late for him to cry about such things, so he closed the store panel and the moment he did another panel appeared before his eyes once again.

You might feel pain, nauseous and even throw up but the more this feature is used the fewer its side effects will become.]

Andrew sighed deeply at the new panel. He had suffered through the pain from the Information Transfer features once before and he clearly did not like that 'I don't even have a choice to accept or deny why even show this...?' He thought.

Andrew clenched his fist and bit his lower lips tightly. It was a horrible feeling. As the knowledge started to pour into his mind he felt like his head was going to split in half. He closed his eyes the moment he saw the world around him spinning around to avoid throwing up. He was trying his best to suppress the urge to throw up or scream in pain.

The longer Andrew resisted the less pain he felt and the calmer he got. He was not sure if the pain was disappearing because he was getting used to it or if the information transfer was about to end, however he was sure next time it would be easier to go through it.

After roughly two minutes, the pain completely disappeared and the moment it happened he smiled softly and let out a breath of relief "Finally... Now where is Victor?"

Andrew got up from the bed and calmly walked out of his room to find Victor. He walked through the hallways calmly however just after five minutes of walking randomly he stopped walking and stood in the hallways with his eyes closed.

'I am lost again, aren't I...?' Andrew thought.

Meanwhile, Victor and Oliver were in Victor's office discussing what they should write in the letter that has to be sent to Kalyra.

To be continued...
