The Greatest Monarch

After an unexpected accident, the king of Zion went into a state of coma. The ruler should be the heart of his people but the truth was entirely different from this. The coma seemed more like a blessing for the people of Zion. They wished for this blessing to never vanish. Why? That was because if it did not vanish and if he died, the holy church would take over the kingdom and they would no longer have to serve under a trash king anymore. But after he woke up, something even better happened. The King has lost his memory, even his personality was completely rewritten. When the trash king came to know the wrong deeds he had committed earlier, it pierced into his chest like sharp arrows making him feel guilty beyond what words could explain. He decided to change the shape of his kingdom and become the strongest king ever with the help of the "system" he got! Will he be able to dominate the world? Will he be able to enjoy the luxurious life of a king? Those questions can only be answered when you read his story and dive into the world of fantasy! Note: This is a remastered novel of my previous novel. After I had to undergo surgery I could no longer write, which made people lose interest in my novel and I actually wanted to rewrite my novel too. There were many mistakes and loopholes that I wanted to fix so here I am... writing my novel once again.

The Mystery

Nearly two seconds later after the blue magical light covered Andrew's body the uncomfortable face slowly changed into a normal peaceful face at which Victor smiled softly and mumbled something.

"Please forgive me for this, Sire..."

Many days later...

Andrew was sitting on a chair with bundles of books around and in front of him placed on the studying table of his.

For the past few days, all Andrew has been doing was reading books about the world, the power system, the common knowledge, and the laws of the world and continent.

Andrew at that time was in the library and the book he was reading was about the laws of war. While reading he had a calm face however deep within he was throwing a tantrum.

Andrew slowly closed the book and leaned against the back of the chair before he suddenly grabbed the book and threw it towards the wall angrily.

"What kind of shit is this!?"

Andrew shouted, having an ugly angry expression across his face because of what he read inside the book.

Perhaps Victor knew Andrew would react like that and that was the reason Victor advised him to read about laws at the very end.

The law war in the continent of mana and aura was absurd. The kingdom of low rank was more of a noble territory than a proper kingdom.

A kingdom was something that had full independence in choosing what they should do and how they should do things for the sake of their people; however , lower rank kingdoms were not allowed to do nearly anything on their own.

They could not even choose how big their armies should be or how much money they should spend on the military.

Nothing was fair...

Andrew could have somehow even accepted that however what made him throw the book was the fact the lower kingdom could not accept the fact that he could not even have over 5 magic users and 5 aura users in his army.

"This is completely absurd!"

Andrew said again angrily before sighing and rubbing his forehead to calm himself down 'Calm down... calm down...' He thought.

Andrew got up from his chair before he walked toward the door however before he reached the door he disappeared from there and teleported himself to Victor's office.

In Victor's office, Victor and Amy were sitting in front of each other with desk in between them. The environment around them was extremely dull and serious mostly because there was absolute silence between them and they both had serious expressions on their faces.

"Lord Victor... what exactly did you do to his highness?"

Amy finally decided to break the silence and ask that question as she leaned closer to the desk and put her elbow and forearms on it.

"Amy... I told you three times already... What I did must be done for the sake of Andrew and do not try to do something reckless."

Amy bit her lower lips hearing those words and clenched her fist trying to control her temper in front of Victor. She was really something to talk to Victor so freely.

"Lord victor you used your magic on his highness to al-"

Before Amy could have finished her statement Andrew suddenly appeared in the middle of the room and said "Yo!" from behind.

Amy quickly stood up from the chair and looked back at Andrew who was standing normally in a carefree manner.

Victor just smiled looking at Andrew and got up from his chair to bow and greet him.

"I greet the sun of Zion. Long live the king."

Amy forced a smile on her face and bowed in front of Andrew as well after Victor so she could greet Andrew as well.

"Long live the sun of Zion. Long live the king."

Andrew sighed tiredly and shook his head at them since he ordered, or to be exact requested them, to act normally when they are alone.

"Yes. Yes. Anyways Victor, did you start the work on the request I made you?"

Victor nodded once Andrew completed his sentence and walked to him before he spoke.

"I have asked Oliver to do that. It will likely take around four months, Sire."

Andrew sighed once again hearing he would have to wait for another four months before he could do what he wanted.

Andrew moved his vision from Victor to Amy and with his eyebrow raised in curiosity, he asked "What are you doing here, Amy? You forgot I made you MY personal maid?"

Amy shook her head in no before she said "I remember that very well, Sire... it is just that I wanted to speak to Lord Victor about something."

"Um?" Andrew's curiosity grew even more hearing her answer "What do you want to talk about to Victor?"

"That..." Amy slowly moved her head over to Victor seeking help however Victor stood there calmly and innocently at which she could not help but sigh deeply.

"I wanted to discuss about my new salary... Since there is no minister of the treasury appointed, Lord Victor is taking care of that responsibility."

"Fair enough..." Andrew asked normally however Amy's word pierced through his chest like an arrow since she basically reminded him that he was yet to appoint ministers.

Andrew coughed lightly and shifted his vision from Amy to Victor again "Victor you're responsible for appointing ministers."

Victor nodded and was about to say something, however suddenly loud footsteps started to come from the outside which made him go silent and Andrew's carefree and calm expression turned into a dull expression.

The loud footsteps reminded them both of Lucia... Andrew clenched his fist in anger and Victor's eyes got a little teary.

Amy shifted her eyes away from them and thought 'Whoever it is... I fear what the future will do to you..."

Andrew stomped his way to the door and was about to open the door however before Andrew had his hand on the doorknob the door was opened by the same person who was walking outside with heavy footsteps. It was... Oliver.

"Your highness! It is an emergen-"

Oliver spoke loudly in hurry at first however as soon as he saw Andrew standing in front of him with such a furious expression he just went silent in horror and became pale.

"Oliver..." Andrew said with a flickering eyebrow and left eye. Oliver was about to say something however before Oliver could even open his mouth to say anything his throat was grabbed by Andrew.

"I strictly ordered everyone to not do anything which reminds me of that shitty woman right!? That includes the way she stomps you fool!"

Hearing Andrew call Lucia "shitty woman" both Amy and Victor looked down at the ground while biting their lips and eyes tightly closed.

'Lord Victor... why did you alter his highness memory... Why did you make him remember Lady Lucia like that...!?' Amy thought.

To be continued...
