Gruesome Truth
As Mayer approaches them, Fujino can't help but sweat.
Its as if his every step makes the ground tremble, and his body grows so ever big slowly instilling terror to everyone that catches his gaze. When Mayer gets close enough to Noby, he throws Leo in front of him.
"I brought you guys some presents" He chuckled a little.
Noby took a look at Leo's body that's full of burns. "I thought an angel has a kind-heart, maybe you're not of them Mayer?" He says it with his sharp eyes looking straight at Mayer.
"You got some balls to joke in this kind of time Noby, I admire you for that" he grinned.
This intense talk continues for a couple of minutes which is very clear that Noby tries to buy some time as much as possible before the fight because deep down he knows that he's not gonna stand too long fighting this guy.
He could sense it, Mayer's aura is at least show that he is around an upper or superior angel. Back there Nara tries doing her job as best as she could.
"Fujino, you have to leave this place now, I will help Noby face that monster, we will meet again at the back of the hill near your school, now go!" Nara pushed Fujino that is petrified.
Fujino fell into his knees "This is too much to understand in one day" his gaze looks like he is losing his sanity. Nara hugged him tightly, whispered close to his ear. "everything will be alright" and give one final smile then she ran into Noby that already in his final form, a dark purple demon with two ten centimeter horn on his head, four-meter wing spread on his back and a spear on his right hand.
"Don't push your self too much" Nara stands beside Noby
"We will instantly be killed by that mother fucker even if we pushed our self, Nara gets your shit together for real please" Noby speak to his sister in a very serious tone.
"Alright, I think this time you get your point clear" Nara agrees with what her brother said and she nodded.
Then her hair slowly turns white, her eyes turn red and her body also changes like Noby into a dark purple colored and she released steam like her body is burning.
"Can we start now kids?" Mayer that changes into a nine feet posture standing in front of them with a head shaped like a knight's helmet and clad in warrior-like armor radiating light with four wings grow out of his back he comes close to Noby and Nara.
"Listen, I will give you one chance to make it easy for all of us, give that kid and I swear I will leave this place right away" Mayer walks while waving his hand like he tries to make himself clear in explaining things.
"Nara you ready right?" Noby turns to Nara, his eyes gleaming blue makes him look confident even though he is actually nervous as hell at the moment.
"Can I say no?" Nara looks at his younger brother with a poor look.
now the two brother-sister focusing their attention at Mayer, they are ready for a fight. Despite the fact that they know a lesser demon like them is not enough to beat this upper-superior angel level, even if there are two of them working together. They stand strong right there with faith in their eyes.
"Hahaha! Interesting...." Mayer laughed hard. "Shall we begin?" his grin sends chills to Noby and Nara.
Before the sibling can refocus their mind from getting chill by Mayer's grin, He moves so fast that he instantly appears in front of them and punched them right in their belly. That punch makes them flew all the way crushing the building. Watching this unbelievable scene make the orphanage kids cry and scream with fear in their voice. Fujino suddenly feels awake when he heard the scream, even he is not fully recovering from the shock before, he right away realizes that now the only thing he has to do is to bring safety to these children.
Fujino ran into the orphanage kids trying hard to calm them down and tell them to follow him. Before he could get the kids' attention he heard someone shout at him.
"FUJINOOO! I TOLD YOU TO RUN!!" He realized that Nara's voice and she literally sound mad.
"WE WILL SAVE THEM SO DON'T WORRY AND GO NOW!" he could see Nara trying to get back onto her feet from the building's ruin that fells on her.
"DON'T YOU DARE TO LIE TO ME!" Fujino shouts back to Nara with his crack voice sounding crazy. "YOU CAN'T EVEN STAND IN YOUR FEET YOU DUMB FUCKING DEMON" he cries as he shouts to Nara.
Now Nara and Noby stand back on their feet again, walking back to the fight with a sharp look on their face like they're just getting serious now.
"Maybe you are right, that we are even trying hard to stand our ground, but you have to trust me, I will save these kids no matter what even if it took my life, I promise you that you will see them again later. But listen, Fujino, you have to run now so you can see this kid again okay?" Nara pats Fujino's shoulder as she passes him that still crying there.
As they leaving Fujino behind Noby speak to her sister in a low voice "How could you lie like that sister? I kinda impressed at how convincing you are"
"Shut up and let's get this done quick okay" They continue walking casually
The sibling is back to the game, Mayer stands there pose like a man that waits with his hand folded in front of his chest. He waits there motionless as Noby and Nara keep getting closer to him.
Noby's feet slowly leave the ground he flies with his spear getting ready on his right hand.
"You better be ready for this Mayer!" He shouts as he flies fast toward Mayer.
Seeing this, Mayer gets into his stance, but before he could fly he feels something on his feet that holds him to the ground. There is a bright red vine that grows out of the soil to hold him with a very strong grip.
"NOBY! NOW!" Nara shout hard to his brother as she holds her stance with her hands crossed in front of her chest
"HOW DARE YOU WHORE!" Mayer shouts in a very angry voice as his hand tries to free his feet from Nara's vine spell. Mayer knows it is no that hard to break this kind of spell but the problem is the timing, he needs time to do it but he knew that Noby already flies toward him with his spear that emits flashes of lightning around the spear's eye, 'IM NOT GONNA MAKE IT' he speaks to himself.
Noby throws his spear strong, the spear flies quick that it makes a voice of sonic boom when he did it, it was like a lightning out of Noby's hand straight to Mayer.
BAAAAMMMM!
the ground shake and the building behind him crack and some of its part collapses. Noby stays in his place trying to catch his breath and Nara still maintaining her stance she wanna make sure that Mayer can't even move an inch from his place.
As the haze on the ground was slowly disappearing, they could see a silhouette stand right there. Noby and Nara's face immediately show grim expression. Even though they know Mayer is not gonna die from this attack but they do hope at least it'll deal him great damage.
fifteen minutes before that, Fujino speaks to the kids, "Look at me!! you guys just have to look at me and listen to my voice" he is on his knee trying to speak to the children in their eye level. "It'll be fine! we all gonna see the sun again tomorrow and as usual, I will accompany you guys play outside and we will have so much fun like we always do!" Fujino tries hard to smile, even his tears still drop from his cheek.
"Vena! stop crying" he hugs her. "I know you are a brave kid, I know that you always be the one that takes my place when I'm not home" Fujino pat vena on her head. Vena starts to calm down and stop crying even though you can hear she still breathe uncontrollably.
"Vena, do me a favor okay?" Fujino holds Vena's small face in his palm. He smiles then speak to Vena in pleading tone, "I will go for a moment until then you have to keep your brother and sister here to stay calm and get to a safe place but don't go too far from that two okay" Fujino speak as he pointed at Noby and Nara that walking into Mayer.
Even though Vena's face looks unsure, she nodded to Fujino, Fujino smile at her and hugs her tighter this time, he kisses Vena in the forehead than he stood up in front of the kids, "Listen, kids, while I was gone Vena will lead you to a safe place, listen to her and I will be back soon okay do you understand?" Fujino asks with worry in his face.
When the kids start to calm down and nodded their heads, he ran toward his mother that still fainted since the first explosion sound they heard this afternoon. He checks her then he moves her into a safe place far enough from the fight. He hugs her and whispers in her ears while crying "I will be back mom, I will... I promise" Then he stood up, smile to the kids as he wipes his tears, and waves them final goodbye. He ran as fast he could to the fence in the back of the building, jump on it and continue running toward the hill at the back of his school exactly like what Nara told him to do.
While he running he heard a loud blast from his back.
BAAAAMMMM!
He stops for a moment, turns back, and feeling so worried about what happened there, but he remembers what Nara told him, and he thinks that his presence there not gonna make the situation any better, he continues his run. He runs with tears running down in his cheek. After another 5 minutes of running he stops once again even though there is no sound of a bang, instead, he heard something worse in his ears.
"FUJINOOOO!! IF I DONT SEE YOU NOW I WILL BURN THESE KIDS TO ASHES!!"
Fujino recognizes that voice, that's the voice of that guy, Meyer!
he couldn't help but screaming like he is out of hope, he screams desperately trying to channel all his stress. But he doesn't have enough time to comfort himself, he immediately ran back to the orphanage. He ran as he shouts "I WILL BE THERE DON'T YOU DARE LAY YOUR DIRTY HAND ON THEM YOU CRAZY MOTHERFUCKER!"
Fujino jumped over the fence of the orphanage for the second time, he ran towards the front side of the building. He stops for a moment catching his heavy breath, he cries, he desperately screams with all his power.
"YOOUU MOTHERFUCKERR!!" he fell into his knee for the umpteenth time today. Right in front of his eyes he witnesses Mayer burn the orphanage and the kids with Noby and Nara grip into his feet.
"How... how... how could all this time we praise this so cold angel" Fujino muttered on his teeming mind with his eyes full of tears.
