He took a deep breath and tried to stay calm. Fortunately, the shot seemed to have passed through the arm and had not broken any bones or hit an artery, he was lucky.

It was Ana, and she was carrying a small vase of flowers.

"... You woke up." She spoke as she shivered a little and put the vase on a desk by the bed.
Ralph looked at her with a bitter smile.
Even if the two were just friends, he knows that their relationship goes beyond that, even if they don't feel it, or don't believe it.
Ana sat in a chair next to the bed and said:
"How are you feeling?"
