Part 2 : The Guide

Rin had gone to the front of the room to introduce herself...

"Hello everyone... my name is Rin Hikari and I'm 16, nice to meet you all."

"Thank you, Rin, and hmm... since he's not here right now, you can take his."

All the boys continued to just stare at Rin creepily while she slowly walked to her seat. One in particular named Jaku, looked at Rin with a look on his face one cannot comprehend, making Rin turn away.

"Hey."

"Umm, hi...?"

"Wanna be my girlfriend? I have money."

"No."

"Why not? I thought money could buy anything!"

"Please stop."

Rin sat down and didn't look at Jaku.

{45 minutes later}

Rin had sat through the class dying of sheer boredom, and the bell had rung.

"Come on, let's go."

He eventually appeared and spoke out of nowhere.

"Wait up!"

He stopped and turned around.

"I'm taking you to the headmistress's office, she wanted to talk to you."

"Again?"

"We're here, go in, I'll be waiting outside."

With that Rin had headed in.

"Take a seat."

"Yes ma'am."

"Let me give you a warning."

"First day here and I'm already in trouble, tragic."

"No, it's a warning about your guide, he's not what you think he is."

"What do you mean?"

"Well, he doesn't like people, his parents passed away in a war that he fought in."

"You don't mea-"

"Yes... The 1000 year war."

"How then?!"

"He forbids me to tell anyone... But... I'm telling you because he is your guide."

"He forbade you?! But you're the Head-Mistress of this academy."

"You see... he is the only one here with a higher rank than I do..."

"How?! What rank could he be then?!"

"That... I couldn't tell you, I don't even know myself, I can only sense his power, and I know it's higher than mine."

"Where can I go to find out then?"

"You'll have to ask him yourself."

"I will."

"Other than that, you are dismissed for the day."
