"So you want to travel to the mortal world?" The old man asked, stroking his white beard.

"Yes, I believe it will help me grow." Raizel simply answered.

"It indeed will. So which planet do you want to choose?" The old man asked.

"I will choose one which does not have faith of any god currently. I want it to be a medieval world if that is possible." Raizel voiced out his thoughts.

"That is a good choice. Godless worlds are rather safe to travelling gods, but there might be some latent risks involved. I have the coordinates of a world that fits right into your criteria." The old man said as he raised his hand.

Soon, a drop of red liquid which appeared to be blood, slowly materialised in the air above his hand.

He sent the drop towards Raizel, who caught it in his hands. The red-drop had a strange red energy surrounding it, which prevented it from making contact with any matter.

"This is a drop of my blood. I have marked the world you desire with my blood long ago. Drop it in a naturally formed water puddle in this realm and it will create a portal for you. I have already taught you this process, if you remember." The old man said.

Raizel nodded his head. The old man had indeed taught him how the travel to divine realm and mortal realm worked.

In the 'realm of gods', all naturally formed water bodies acted as portals to the mortal plane. If one did enter such a water body, they would be sent to a random mortal world.

Gods mark worlds they enter with their blood. By mixing their blood with a naturally formed water body, they can travel to these marked worlds.

Raizel naturally understood this. He had received important information regarding the realm of gods from the old man.

"I do remember. Old man, where can I find a naturally formed water body? I did not see one when we travelled." Raizel said.

"Walk straight after leaving my house and in half an hour you will find a small lake. Drop the blood drop in that and seek your destiny." The old man replied.

"I know that your domain is slaughter, take this, it will help you." The old man took off one of the weapons hung on the walls and tossed it to Raizel.

Raizel caught it with his another hand. His gaze drifted through the scabbard of the blade as they gleamed with glee.

He hurriedly made a bow as he thanked with all sincerity. "Thankyou old man. I hope I can repay your kindness one day."

"Haha... Look at you. You have learnt quite a bit from those mortal books. This will help you down in their plane, now go and seek glory." The old man laughed as he spoke like an army general towards the end of his sentence.

Raizel smiled and bid the old man farewell. He left the house while carrying the sword in one hand and the drop of blood in the other.

He was wearing loose, black robes like those of martial artists. This made his movements especially fluid.

Testing his speed, he ran towards his destination at full speed. As he gained momentum, he was travelling at speeds that were almost superhuman, he appeared like a black blur.

He arrived at the destination in almost half a minute, which really surprised him.

'My speed sure is good.' Raizel smiled to himself.

He looked ahead and found a huge water lake before him.

Walking closer to it, he could see the fresh water present. The starry night sky was reflected in it perfectly.

The lake was almost a kilometre in diameter, thus the sight it presented with its reflective characteristics was incredibly surreal.

Raizel admired the scene for a few minutes and then turned to look down at his sword.

The scabbard of the sword was black in colour and it had a serpent dragon design all over it which was inlaid with gold.

Moving his attention back to the lake, Raizel dropped the drop of blood in his hand into the lake.

Dip!

Gurgle! Gurgle!

Soon, a few bubbles formed on the water surface followed by the formation of a few rhythmic ripples. Then gently a swirling vortex appeared on the surface of the water.

This vortex had a reddish hue to it which made it appear rather pleasing to the eye.

As Raizel observed the formation of the vortex, he did not panic, instead he placed the sword scabbard under the blue belt tied around his waist.

Then, he took in a deep breath.

'Time to go.'

With these thoughts, Raizel jumped into the swirling vortex.

Spash!

As Raizel fell into the vortex, with a splashing sound the vortex instantly lost its swirl as it collapsed. In a while, it turned back to its tranquil state, while Raizel was nowhere to be seen.
