Your Daughter is

"Can this wise one please elaborate? " said Lan Mu Shan excitedly

"Amituofo" the monk calmly responded "this is but all preordained."

Hearing the monk's response could send a lot of people crazy, especially everyone here. They all felt that this monk was just talking riddles with them. Was he or wasn't he gonna tell them how to overcome this ominous sign that lies before them. Didn't he say that the ominous sign had to do with Concubine Han!? Yet once they got here he's saying that she's blessed!? Was the concubine blessed or cursed!?

To draw all their attention back to the current situation Chen Zi Ye let out a soft cough before speaking, "wise one, please forgive this ignorant girl for she's too confused by your words to understand them. May you please explain them to this foolish girl?"

Everyone couldn't help agreeing with Chen Zi Ye at this moment but no one showed such expressions on their faces in front of the monk in fear that he would change his mind and leave without helping them.

"Amituofo, the concubine indeed blessed by the heavens and thus this ominous sign had fallen on your family. One of the children born from the concubine is  the cause of the ominous sign above this family." Says the monk as he started to turn the mala beads again.

Hearing the monks words this time didn't only surprise them but the rise of other emotions appeared as well such as malice, anger, shock, urgency, and fear. Seeing their reactions the monk couldn't help but let out a deep sad sigh while shaking his head.

"Wise one, can you please tell us which one of the children carries the ominous sign? " asked Chen Zi Ye while pretending to be scared. She even trembled a little and let out some tears as if to say that if the child stayed then they would be doomed.

Li Ahn really had to applaud Chen Zi Ye for her crocodile tears and her trembles of excitement. Really hands up for the lady she really knew how to utilize her skills to make others feel for her whether that was good or bad.

"Mmm…." Was all the monk had to respond to Chen Zi Ye

"This old man is pleading with this wise one to please tell us which half of the twin carries the ominous sign" said the old master as he bowed his head towards the monk.

"Sigh, would you be so kind as to tell this one the names of the children" spoke the monk as he went forward to stop the old master from bowing.

Hearing the monk's question the prime minister had the wet nurse carrying his son step forward and said "my son's name is Lan Mu Fei." Then had the wet nurse step back then called  the wet nurse carrying his daughter to step forward and said, "my daughters name is Lan Yu Yu"

After the prime minister introduced the twins to the monk he stared at them for a while before letting out a deep sigh.

"Wise one please tell us which child carries the ominous sign?" Chen Zi Ye stated almost excitedly.

She couldn't hold back her excitement any longer. She really hoped that it was the son born from that wench, that way he couldn't claim the right to inherit the family. Since she too was pregnant! She hadn't told anyone that she was pregnant until after confirms whether the baby is a boy or not. After receiving the news that the baby in her womb was indeed a boy she couldn't help but pray that it was that wench's son that carried the ominous sign so her own son can inherit the family instead.

Li Ahn on the other hand can hear the excitement in Chen Zi Ye voice she had a sense of dread. Afterall no matter which half of the twin carried the ominous sign that half would most likely be discarded by the family in order to avoid any bad omens to come. It's even worse if it was the son after all this was the first born son of the Lan family.

Lan Mu Shan, on the other hand, was hoping that it was the daughter that carried the ominous sign since she was the fourth daughter to be born into the family thus losing one daughter didn't matter much. His son on the other hand was his first born son, THE FIRST son and to top it off this son was born between his beloved and him. So more than anything he prayed that it was his daughter.

The elderly couple's opinion was also split between Lan Mu Shan and Chen Zi Ye. The old master was in favor of his son's wishes while the old madam was in favor of her son's main wife's.

The monk looked at the crowd and he could easily see through all their thoughts. He just couldn't understand why they as humans were so ignorant. Afterall what will come will come for all of this was destined.

The crowd saw that the monk looked at them for quite awhile now and had yet to respond. They all felt as if a few years of their life had already flown by,  while waiting for the response that they couldn't hold it in anymore. Just as the old madam was about to speak the monk finally spoke, "this one also had a question for the prime minister about this situation"

"Please ask wise one" said Lan Mu Shan

"Mm, upon hearing which half of the child carries the ominous sign what will you do? "

"The half that carries the ominous sign will of course be sent to one of the villa we own outside the main residence as to not affect the rest of the family"

"Hmm, do you believe that by doing so you would be able to spare your family?"

"By doing so won't we be able to save the many lives who are currently suffering from this ominous sign?" Stated Lan Mu Shan anxiously. His beloved's life was currently on the line at the moment. If he had to lose her then he rather heaven take them all. She was worth more than anyone else's life. He can always have her give birth to more children if he lost the twins. It's a pity though since that meant that the first born son of theirs wouldn't be able to live but it would be worth it.

"Sigh, Amituofo. Your daughter was born under an ominous sign." The monk said seriously
