"Tou san can you help me train?" I asked my father.

A few days has passed since training with the other kid's in the clan. And I hadn't done very much in terms of training outside of joining a few daily spars with the other kids to better my Yogeki-ki Ken and just basic stat training.

I needed to learn a Jutsu and the best way I could do that was via my father or mother teaching one to me. Since I completed the basic Leaf exercise already my plan was to get father to recognize the skill I possessed already and hopefully get him to teach me a basic Jutsu or maybe get me to learn the Tree walking exercise instead.

Either way I benefit from this singular move.

"Sure what do you need help with?" He asked me with his usual gruff sounding tone.

"I want to learn a basic Jutsu and was hoping that you'll teach me one." I stated.

"No even if you are a prodigy I cannot teach you anything like that unless you have mastered the Leaf Exercise." 

"I have at least according to Isao sensei." The truth was stated immediately by me.

"Is that truly the case?" He didn't believe me naturally.

"Ask him yourself." I showed my integrity with those words and with it he should believe me in the fact that I mastered the leaf exercise which was truly the case.

"So you are telling the truth." He chuckled as he said that. "I always knew that you were talented but to master this after a week of learning it." His tone held pride and shock in it as he made a sigh of resignation. "Alright I guess you can learn the most basic of Jutsu's and get some training in for Shurikenjutsu as well."

"Speaking of Shurikenjutsu Isao Sensei was planning to train us in the basics of that tomorrow." I stated as father chuckled.

"Well yes Shurikenjutsu is a specialty of the Uchiha clan much in the same way as to how Taijutsu is the specialty of the Hyuuga and Bojutsu is the specialty of the Sarutobi. Well I guess there's a few other traits we Uchiha are known for such as the Sharingan." He explained in an crystal clear way.

"So in essence we are good with Shurikenjutsu? But I thought Uchiha were known to utilize Katon Jutsu more." I said.

"That is because outside of our known specialty we Uchiha have a Jutsu specialty as well unlike the Hyuuga's who focus on their Taijutsu we realize that focusing on one thing will not do us well in the life of a Shinobi. We have the Yogeki-ki Ken for that purpose and we have the Shinsoku no Ken (Swift blade style) for Kenjutsu."

I nodded in understanding at his words although the idea of learning the Shinsoku no Ken was appealing due to my perk in Kenjutsu plus having a sword will be incredibly useful in this world anyways. That was the reason I chose that perk in particular.

"Right then let's go." 

After that we were off making small talk along the way but it was just things I understand already. As we walked I noted that where we were walking towards the training grounds used to train clan children that I've been going to everyday for well training. .However we turned to go towards another training field next to it.

It looked much the same as the one used for clan training but it included extra bits to it such as several large trees with what looked to be broken tree bark presumably from failed attempts to learn the Tree walking exercise.

"Now before I teach you the Jutsu I will teach you Shurikenjutsu first and foremost." I nodded my head understanding of why he would do this first.

He took a bunch of Shuriken from the brown pouch that was attached to a belt and gave me them keeping one for himself.

"I will give you a demonstration first then you'll do it." 

I bobbed my head up and down as I read through a message the system gave me.

Bonus Objective: Raise it to a higher level

200 EXP per level after Level 3 80 Ryo per level after 3 10 Academy grade Shuriken placed in your Inventory per level.

Bonus Objective: Raise it to Level 10

D Jutsu scroll with a technique that utilizes Shuriken in it.

Quest ends in an hour and 30 minutes.

Interesting. I am assuming that getting it to LVL 10 is near impossible in that timeframe whilst it would be easy to get it to level 3 and slightly beyond.

I looked at father as he threw the Shuriken in a methodical way that seemed like he was performing quick calculations in his head before he threw it. The way he threw it was by applying force after he began his throw but used the speed of his to add extra force of it. He looked like a real professional like this yet I couldn't help but anticipate the thunking sound that came merely a second after he threw it.

"Now I do not expect you to do it that way but I expect you to become capable of this in future. You will have an hour and 30 minutes to do this." 

Oh no I knew the formula's that was going through his head at this instant. He hit the target with about 2.1 Newtons of force meaning that the Shuriken which weighed 35 Grams was thrown with an acceleration of about 60 meters per second.

"Sure." I simply stated as I prepared to begin my own training montage.

"You know you are a good kid Arisu. Not only do you train often and play with Ryoujuro and Minimi but you seem to understand the moods and emotions of those around you to a terrifying degree yet you choose to help them. I think me and your mother are truly blessed to have you as our daughter." 

But father that wasn't the case at all. Whilst it was true that I helped people it was always for my own benefit. I helped the other Clan children during training in hopes that one of them was a social link I could gain. I helped those around from before this life so I could use them as pawns for my greater plans. 

I knew far more about myself then anyone else and they will probably never know me truly. I knew how horrible and terrible I was. Most of my KP probably came from the suffering I endured. The lives I had seen fade time and time again the lives I had to take just to survive the methods I used to achieve victory and the sacrifices I made in the process. All of it pointed to one fact about me.

I was truly a vile human being.

I, alongside 10 other children lined up per the Instructor's orders. I noted how one of us seemed to have difficulty breathing as our results for todays test were held by the Instructor on a tablet like screen.

Suddenly, a loud thud was heard as the boy who had difficulty breathing fell to the ground. He was seamlessly suffering from a sudden heart attack. A series of gasps and eh's had followed his sudden collapse. Yet, none of us did anything. Why? Because failures were disposed of any way's.

I spared the dying boy a glace before turning back to the instructor.

Thunk

The sharp sound of a shuriken hitting wood exited my ears as the memory faded.

Shuriken Throwing LVL 1/30: Your effectiveness at throwing Shuriken. Shuriken are synonymous with Shinobi and is a primary weapon that all Shinobi must learn to utilize effectively. +10% accuracy with Shuriken thrown in a stationary position +5% accuracy with Shuriken thrown whilst running or jumping. +3% damage increase with all shuriken weapons.

The same sound earlier repeated itself as I found myself getting used to Shuriken in general however I stopped after 30 minutes passed and I only gained 2 levels in it. I wanted the full benefits of the quest so I began to do throw them whilst moving around.

Upon reaching the last minute the notification appeared. It took me that long to get there. I was perspiring slightly as another box appeared.

Rewards: 600 RYO gained, 1500 EXP gained, Fuuton: Kaze Shuriken (Wind Shuriken) Jutsu scroll has been added.

However before I can read it a voice called out to me.

"Never have I ever seen a talent such as yours before." 

"Why thanks Tou San." 

"No need to thank me for stating the truth," His chuckle reverberated through the air as I was patted on the head by my proud father. I felt that the bond between me and Tou San had grown to be far stronger today.

I am thou thou art I

And so for the next hour I began learning all about the Katon: Moeru Shuriken (Flaming Shuriken).
