Fight like Never End

When the third waves is coming, not only their number increase but I see something new that make me quite puzzled.

"What is that thing ? Is that a rock boulder ?" I ask grid in my back

"That is rock gravel monster. They have a round body that let them move. People often say they are a little golem monster. Hit their head. Even though they have body of rock, their head and limb is quite soft. But first you need to stop their rolling." (Grid)

"Darvan, you will handle that golem. Rudeus don't have any arts skill that can stop it's rolling. Just stop their rolling and I will handle the rest." (Grid)

"Ok." (Darvan)

Because many of monster can not hurt my body so I took a glance what kind of monster that golem.

"Giant Cleave Strike.. Bang.."

After Darvan use his battle skill the boulder stop and then a head, an arms, and leg come of it. When I see it, The head feels like snake, it have three claw in his arm and have a big leg. The amazing thing is it stand in it's two feet with stability even though the rock seems heavy in its back.

"What a weird thing that monster is" I thought

After Darvan stop that monster Grid aim it's head immediately.

"Puchi.." Grid arrow piece his head an blood sprout.

"Hmm.. that shoot.. amazing" I'm still amazed by Grid skill.

The third waves took us longer to finish. In our break many of supply team come to us and ask if we need anything like potion or rations. Seems like they will provide the supply if we lack them.

Many of student is injured is third wave. Even the member of both the the team beside us is get injured too. Their badge shows a first year like us. Now I know the thing that Grid told me is true. The solo student is really stronger than the students who make party. Some of them look us with a surprise expression

Like now, many of them is already out of breath but the three of us still have a normal and calm expression. Of course I'm kinda astonished to see Darvan and Grid. I have a body battle skill but what about them ? Are they have their own body battle skill too ? Even though I'm curious about it I won't ask them, after all everyone have their own strength. Is not like I will told them everything about me too right.

Actually I want to see my status and see how many I improve but for a second thought there is really nothing. It's not like my arts and body battle skill will improve so much after this. So it's better to see when everything is over.

We chat quite a bit and organize what will do for the fourth waves.

"Listen up guys, many of student already getting injured now. I believe most of them will back down and only defense and wait for the guards on the wall to help them." When Grid said that the three of us look on top of the wall at the same time.

Then Grid continue "We can not depend on it. We don't know how long the guards will finish their fights. So I think it's better to make a new strategy."

"I agree. So what kind of strategy we do ?" (Rudeus)

"The three of us will fight independently but help each other at the same time." (Grid)

Me and Darvan make a confused expression "??"

"The three of us will fight in the front line. You don't need to be our vanguard and hold enemy anymore Rudeus. You will do like what Darvan do." Grid explain more to us "But even though like that we must help each other. For example the rock gravel monster. Rudeus do not have anything to stop that monster so Darvan will come to Rudeus and finish it. At the same time you will go to Darvan side and block the monster that Darvan fight. You can say we will swap place when we can not handle the monster. Just shout and call our name when you need it."

"That's great idea. Alright let's do that" (Darvan)

"Wait a minute Grid, if we do that, some monster will pass us. After all three of us will be in front line." (Rudeus)

"I know, but that's my point. We can not handle everything now because many of team is already exhausted and their member is injured. So the monster which pass us will be handle by the supply team." (Grid)

"You see, they already prepared for that to happen. They are a Warrior too and what's more the monster they handle are weaker than we fight. So it will be fine" (Grid)

"I see. Alright let's do that" I said and then look at the supply team which make a preparation for join the fight.

After we rest less than ten minutes the fourth waves is coming. This time the monster number is not increase much like second and third wave. But the monster in fourth waves is bigger. Even the rabbit is increased in size. I never seen that kind of big rabbit. It's stand almost at 3 feet. All of them is increase in size. Damn..

The fight is begin. Unlike before, Darvan and Grid is stand beside me. Darvan in my right and Grid in my left side. What grid says is right, many of team is back off from fight and the one who still fight only focus on defense not kill. But Unlike them, we still stand in front line and kill our enemy as fast as we can.

Because there's a gap between us, some monster is just pass us and aim the one in the back. Seems like the fight in back is already begin too.

"Bam.. Boom.. Phew.. Phew.."

"Argh.."

Many of scream is heard in the fight. I even scream too let my body to not feel nervous.

I don't know how long I fight. I kept punch, kick and even slam my body to the monster. My Warrior Energy is limited but my body have a lot of stamina so I can keep fighting.

Even though like that my breath is getting more and more ragged. Even three of us swap every now and then but the monster is still many.

We keep fighting and fighting. Some time I even almost trip because the monster corpse when I want to swap with Grid.

But seems like lady hope is upon us. The guards on top of the wall finished their target, so the guards help us immediately.

After every monster in vicinity is death. The three of us sat down immediately to catch up our breath. Me and Darvan even lay down our body in the ground which filled by blood. I don't care anymore. And then I heard an Instructor Voice

"The fight is over. The army is already move out. For all the student who join this fight, you can receive your merit point in Student Mission Area."

"I see. We won huh.." I said that and stare at the sky
