<Chapter Two>

'Waiting For You' was a romance novel. A very strange one.

Byun Ye Ji one day stumbled across this novel in her library while searching a book to read, that wasn't actually the truth. She was hiding from the world inside the 4 walls of the room.

The novel was set in the world she was living in and there were even mentions of the children of the 4 houses.

The children of the four houses were the main leads and the female lead was a middle class girl, the normal clichéd book.

When Ye Ji first started to read this book she was surprised at how exactly the author described the weather and the school buildings and the families secret.

She read it and then she came across a chapter. Chapters 23, the chapter which title was "The Scared Princess."

In the chapter it told the story of one of the side characters of the story. Not a 2nd lead not the main lead but the side character.

The character was a girl, who had a deadly disease but was cured. She never went to co-ed school and was curious to know what love was. She even wanted friends, then she realised that the world was not all fairy tales and story books.

The girl started fearing people. She feared people so much that she was scared of her own parents, but regardless she still went to the school.

In school she met a boy. The actual main lead of the story. The boy help her with her fears and she fell in love with him, but he loved someone else. He loved one of the female leads.

She was heart broken. She loved him so much that her once cured disease started acting up again and ended up killing her.

That girl name was "Byun Ye Ji", that girl was her.

Byun Ye Ji was the Ye Ji from the novel. At first she didn't believe it but then everything was going as the book.

She did not want to die like she did in the novel. So she did the most sensible thing.

She ran away. She left the school before she could even meet with the main lead and she never left her house since.

Her disease didn't act up and she didn't die but her fear of people still remained.

Ye Ji layed down in her bed. The book was still in her hand. For some reason she was the only one who could read it. Others would just see blank papers.

She checked her phone. People in her books would have texts and calls coming every now and then, Ye Ji only had the phone company call her every now and then.

Her parents wanted to help her, and even tried taking her to many skilled doctors but what was the use?

She was scared of humans and they tried taking her to a human.

She still had a long way to trust people again. She would slightly be comfortable with one maid. Maria, but Ye Ji could just be with her some moments before having a panic attack.

"I wanna experience the world. I wanna go out and have fun with friends!" she mummered.

She wanted to go out but she was afraid. She was afraid of people, she was afraid of getting hurt, she was afraid of hurting others, she was afraid of dying

As she looked at the book lying beside she she remembered everything. Those memories of girls and boys making fun of her.

"Am I a coward?" she asked herself and closed her eyes.

'I ran from my problem, but it was just so that I could live, but there could've been a better way...couldn't there?' she asked herself.

She sat upright and looked at herself at her dressing mirror.

"Mommy! When I grow I wanna be just like you."

"Just like me?"

"Yup! I wanna be a doctor and I wanna help people!"

"You can be just like me."

"A doctor" she mummered and smiled at the thought of her when she was a kid.

She wanted to become a doctor. She wanted to help people. She wanted to become like her mother.

She still wanted it deep in her heart.
