Deep within the sacred halls of these churches, devout priests and priestesses practice their faith, They preach of unseen forces that shape the destinies of mortals, invoking both hope and trepidation in the hearts of their followers. These holy men and women are not mere conduits of faith; they are wielders of supernatural powers. Drawing upon the essence of esoteric energies, they perform miracles that heal the afflicted, offer protection to the faithful, or unleash righteous fury upon adversaries. The Crown's Doom

"No... no little girl you're not going anywhere until I know why I can smell you" he growled at the girl whose heart was beating at the fastest rate when she tried to get away from. his eyes which stated at her like she was a prey, while cornering her although he was careful enough not to let even a tip of his clothes touch her. She stared straight into the obsidian black eyes that held her mysterious purple eyes in place. She flinched when he growled and took hurried steps back. She tripped over a twig and was held by the arm upright. The moment she was gripped on the arm she felt a burning sensation and hissed in pain. Before hurriedly jerking her hands away " You probably smell me because you were planning on roasting me alive..... your highness" she said as she held her burnt arm and glared at the man who seem frozen and was staring at his palm that held her. "I..... I can feel you" it came out almost in whispers as he had a pitiful, disbelieving and heartbreaking look on his face. He was someone damned to hell, who couldn't smell or feel anybody, be it human and demons. And this became his weakness when it comes to taking care of the only family he had. She died of a disease common to humans 'fever', but he didn't even know something was happening to her until she died. He avoided contact with people since then, until he smelt out Ayira Quinn. Azrael Osbourne had a lot of questions that needs to be answered. Who ..... what are you? he asked with his eyes narrowed to a dangerous slit. Why was she the only thing he smelt and felt for the first time? Who is she? Was she the one?

I love it so far, like unlike other book characters where the main lead is quirky and frank, the main lead here is bit...different, a good different, like we can see how she can open up her heart. Good job! Keep on updating
