Chapter III, The key

It was summer.

Jim remembered the key; he called Mike.

"Mike do you still remember the keys that we found when we were searching for your dad?" Jim asked

"Do you have it?" Mike asked. "Yes, wanna know what's it for?" Jim asked. "You bet I do," he smirked.

When Jim and Mike were figuring out what is the key for, Jim remembered something.

"I think I already saw this key," he said. "Where?" Mike asked. "From the book Light, on page 12, didn't you saw that?" Jim asked "No," he replied.

"Well, what are we waiting for. Let's get the book now!" Mike said. "It's gonna be an exciting summer this time, come on!" replied Jim with a huge smile.

Mike and Jim goes back to the library of the school, but when they arrived, they didn't find it there.

Jim asked the Librarian where does the book Light is, the librarian said she doesn't know nor heard about this book.

Mike and Jim decided to go back to their houses, but suddenly Mike found the book in his room, wondering why the book is in his room.

In the morning, he called Jim, and told him what he found.

"Jim, I found the book! It's in my room all along," Mike said. "But how? We didn't even brought it with us," Jim replied.

"It doesn't matter anymore. I'll go to your house, and let's see the purpose of the keys, wait for me," Mike said.

Mike rushes to Jim's house, and after a while, Mike arrived with the book. Jim and Mike went to Jim's room, and opened the book.

"What page was that again, Jim?" Mike asked. "Page 12," Jim replied. Mike opened the book and saw nothing.

"I thought you saw something, Jim?" he asked. "I can't be mistaken, I'm sure of what I saw," Jim replied.

They were about to close the book but suddenly Mike heard a voice saying "It needs Light".

"It needs Light," Mike said, "What?" Jim asked. "It needs light, that's it, that's why it was named book of light," Mike replied.

Jim opened the curtain, and lights reflect the book, there they saw different writings in every page of the book. Jim saw the key from the book that they have.

"Mike! That's the keys we have," said Jim, "Yeah, you're right," Mike replied. "What does it say?" Jim asked.

"Well it says here that it opens a room which hold the secrets of witches," Mike said. "Secrets of Witches?" Jim asked.

"But we only have 2 Keys, and the book says we need 6, is this gonna be another adventure?" Mike asked. "Why not," Jim replied. "We'll go tommorow morning," Mike said.

"But what will we tell them?" Jim asked. "Well, my family will go to a vacation tomorrow. Just tell your parents that you will go with us, but I'll pretend that I'm sick so I will not make it," Mike said.

"Brilliant! I'll pack my things tonight and tell to my parents," Jim said. "Then I'll go now, don't forget 8 AM in the morning," he replied.

In the morning, the family went to a vacation without him as they thought he was sick.  Jim then went to Mike's house.

"Where will we go now?" Jim asked, "I've already copied the directions from the book, and we'll go to London" He replied.

"London? Can't wait to go to London!" Jim said, "Remember the word?" Mike asked. "Together," Jim replied.

Mike and Jim said the teleporter word; In just a minute, they were already in London.

"Woh! London is amazing!" Jim said amazed, "Come on now, Jim. We're not here to travel," Mike replied.

"Where will we go?" Jim asked. "To the dead mountain," Mike replied. "Sounds creepy, but let's go!" Jim replied.

Mike and Jim went to the dead mountain.

"I think we're on the wrong place, Mike?" Jim asked. "No, I copied every details from the book, and we've follow the path correctly. How will we be lost?" Mike replied.

"You're on the right direction," Fiona said. "W-Whos there"? Jim asked frightened. "It's me, Fiona from Class Four" she replied.

"Fiona? But why are you here?" Mike asked. "Well, I saw you teleported here, and followed you. You seemed to go somewhere?" She asked.

"We're just here to look for something, wanna come?" Jim asked. "Shh quiet, Jim" Mike replied to Jim. "Im sorry, Fiona we can't put you in danger so, we'll go now ok?" Mike said to Fiona.

"Do you still want to enter the dead mountain or you want me to tell this to your parents?" She said. "But," Mike replied. "No more buts, let's go now," Fiona replied.

Mike had no choice to let Fiona join them.

Fiona is also in the Witches school. She has the ability to read minds, and can manipulate thunder.

"So why are you here in London?" Fiona asked. "We're looking for the keys that will unlock a secret room that holds the secret of the witches" Jim replied.

"Jim! Why did you tell her!" Mike answered. "She asked! What do you expect me to tell her?" Jim replied.

"Aist! You shouldn't told her the truth!" Mike replied. "I'm sorry, I didn't know," Jim replied, "Now you know," Mike said.

"Stop fighting, you two! I already know what are you looking for, didn't you know that I can read minds?" Fiona replied.

"Ah now I remember, you don't have any friends," Mike said. "Well now you do, us," Jim replied. "Really?" Fiona asked.

"Are you sure that this is the right direction? Jim asked. "Yes, I've already seen the map twice," Mike replied.

"We're on the right path, but what your seeing is just a top of the dead mountain, and dead mountain is dead, they just put the name like that so nobody would wanna enter this place" Fiona replied.

They continued their journey to the dead mountain, but what they didn't know is they disturbed something while going into the dead mountain.

"Wait, it says here on the map that there should be an entrance over there," Mike pointed the tree as he spoke."Yeah, you're right, the Tree of Truth, if we enter here we will be on the real dead mountain", Fiona replied.

"Why do you have many knowledge about this, Fiona?" Mike asked. "Well, just like what you said earlier, I don't have friends that's why I spend my time reading," Fiona replied.

"Shall we go in?" said Fiona.

But before Mike, Jim and Fiona enter the Tree of Truth, the land started to crumble, and something appears below the ground.
