We continued to run away, I could see that some groups were being caught and being killed or retained as prisoners.

I don't know why they are doing this but I'm scared, I don't want all of us to be wiped out without any apparent reason, and I don't want to die nearly one day and a half after reincarnating...

I just want to be able to live without worrying about my life... At least til I am an adult?

Can I have at least some time before feeling danger to my life?

I have my own problems dealing with all that is happening and now I even have to be worried about my life?

I thought I at least would be able to deal with my change of race and gender before anything...

But here I am, without understanding anything and running for my life...

We ran away but they were waiting for us so we got to run making space, and dealing with everyone who was on our way.

I really just woke up in this world just to see slaughter?

Someone explain what is happening here because I just can't understand it all alone. I have to deal with more than I can deal with at a time.

I may feel like all is right and got rid of that feeling that haunted me all my life before reincarnation, but I still can't accept what is happening to me. It is just too much of a change and too many worries all at once without letting me breathe in peace.

Well, worries apart, let's focus on what we have in front of us and try to understand the situation I've been thrown into.

I can see that we have been running for quite some time now and we are dividing ourselves into groups going in different directions, I could see that this escape has been planned and tested at least three times for everyone to go through it without much of a problem and such a great coordination.

We started with some problems as it seems the attackers were on our way and that they had predicted our movements but as the ones we already killed were the only ones that appeared, it seems they were just a separate group we just had the coincidence to get into them.

They captured two foxes and killed three but as others from the group saw them, they were quickly dealt with and we continued running, luckily they were just a group of 20 and it wasn't difficult to deal with them just with the number difference.

We were just too much of a number for them.

I can't understand why they attacked with such a difference in numbers...

Maybe they overestimated themselves?

I don't know and can't know it. They are already dead after all.

Another thing I have realized is that our attackers seem to be humans but I can't be sure, after all, I am a fox and it seems that the people whom I am with are also foxes.

I don't know how they change their form to a humanoid one, but I won't think much of it for now.

I seem to be in a different world so...

Another world will have other rules from the previous one I suppose. I will have to wait until I'm older to understand all the picture.

It's been what I think is more or less 5 minutes since we all started running away when I saw we were entering a cave.

I don't know why, when I thought we were going to escape I didn't expect to go there, if we go to a cave, wouldn't it be to stay hidden?

If they surround us we will get trapped in the cave without any hope of running away and surviving...

Or maybe this is not a cave and it is some kind of tunnel disguised as a cave. Well, I think I'm overthinking, it may be a natural cave that they may use to move to a certain place inside it, I see it more believable in that way, I suppose they used this cave to hide a secret tunnel or something in case we need to escape, it is a great way of using our surroundings and a viable way of eluding pursuers.

This cave is like a natural labyrinth after all.

But I didn't expect that the real reason is none of the mentioned before...

What was inside the cave was something I haven't expected to see, it looked magical.

We arrived at a place with a strong light source which I don't know the source of, surrounding it there were a lot of different types of plants I've never seen and the cave gave a mystical feeling, as if it was a place never meant to be discovered.

As we approached the trees I could see that the source of the light was some kind of drawings on the floor that were heavily glowing.

It was as if I was looking directly at the light produced by a lighthouse.

I can't understand if the light was so powerful how could I not see it outside this cavern inside the cave? and why did it seem so weak through the trees?

I couldn't make anything of it, but what surprised me the most was when we entered the strange drawing on the floor.

When we touched it, it started to produce a stronger light, the more we were on top of it the stronger the light would become.

And after 5 seconds I was blinded and a strong nausea kicked in making me feel pretty bad. It was followed by a strong dizziness.

I think I have never felt worse from this, I got a horrible headache from that.

After some time I started to feel better but I got completely stunned after I got back my sight, I was not in the cave.

I was on a cliff over a dense jungle. I don't understand how I got here but I could see some other groups appearing from nowhere as if it was magic.

One moment...

I think it was magic...

I can't explain it in any other way, but magic is not real, is it?

Or maybe, as I am in another world it may exist...

I wish I could know it...

Maybe they developed some kind of teleporting technology? But they don't seem to have a high technology standard, and being in a forest is quite difficult to get an energy source without having problems with it.

I suppose it could be technology...

But when I see that there seemed to be no energy source and how it all happened it just feels too surreal...

Well, let's forget about this for now, it is not as if I could do anything to it.

I decided to leave that matter for later, I suppose I'll get my answer as I get older in this fox life of mine.

Let's just see the landscape and try to leave complicated thoughts behind... Yes, let's just do that.

As I look over the cliff I can see an enormous jungle that goes from under the cliff to whatever place I can see in front of me. I can't help but feel very small in front of this sight.

It makes you see how little we truly are.

You just need to see the expanse of terrain with a dense and mysterious jungle on it to understand how big the world can be.

The next thing I look upon is the cliff itself, approaching the limit before the fall as I can, I try to see what can be found on the cliff but it is quite difficult because being in my mother's arms I don't have a lot of liberty when we talk about movement...

My mother seemed to say something but I just couldn't understand what was being said. I couldn't even make sense of it...

I suppose I'll need to learn the language from the start and comprehend it little by little.

As I look at my mother's face curiously to try and make sense of what was said she looks at me and kisses my face before approaching the edge.

That was unexpected, I couldn't understand how could she know that I wanted to see what could be found there... Was it a coincidence?

Maybe what she said was something related to this?

Like, maybe she was asking me if I wanted to go to the edge or something similar? It's not like I can know it...

While I was trying to make sense of why did she approach the edge, I took the chance and looked over the cliff, on it you could see a path and some caves, it seems this is no normal cliff.

Some caves seem natural but I could still see some details that show it has been altered, they also had food and different materials that I could not recognize as well as others that I could, such as wood and metal.

There seemed to be some swords and bows as well. I suppose they are for hunting or defense...

Now that I think about it, this world seems pretty dangerous, I just have been a day here but some I believe to be humans have tried to kill us...

I hope it will be possible to have some time to breathe between the dangers...

I don't want to be running around all the time.

As I was thinking about all the things that I could find here my mother started moving to the group again, I don't know what they were talking about but they seemed a little worried...

Well, it's not like I'm not worried.

Who wouldn't be worried after what has happened today?

I can feel that the mood is not the best but it is not as if I could do something about it.

The group started moving again, we entered the forest and followed a path hidden between the leaves.

I nearly missed it, it seems like we are moving without direction but if you focus on the places we are going through you could see some traces of a path between the leaves, trees, and grass.

As we followed that path I tried to look at my surroundings to get a general direction, I couldn't see the cliff where we came from as the forest is hiding it, but I still tried to get a directional sense to maybe understand in which way we are moving.

I couldn't get anything but we stopped in a cleared space.

They got out some supplies and started eating.

'I don't know why, but I have a bad feeling...' I couldn't help but think about the bad feeling that I was getting right now, it was getting worst and worst with every passing moment.

And as if it was a given... My mother approached me to her chest without previous advice...

Yes, I forgot about these. I'm now a baby so I'm supposed to eat that way...

NO! I CAN'T! I'M AN ADULT INSIDE!!!

I chose to do my best to evade her breasts but hunger was starting to get to my head and it was quite difficult because as I was trying to avoid it, my mother was forcing me to approach it.

After some struggling, I couldn't resist anymore as my hunger got to me and I couldn't compete with her strength.

I just want to forget about these...

Oh, no. NO, NO, NO, NO.

I just thought about it but... I will have to bear with it till I'm older and stop being a baby...

And that means... That eating like that won't be the last thing I'll need to bear with...

There are a lot more things a baby needs...

I couldn't think anymore, as the fatigue got to me I couldn't stand it and fell asleep after finishing filling up my little belly.

When I woke up we were not on the forest anymore...

We were in a hidden cave on the cliff at the entrance of the jusngle...

It seems this will be my new home...

I just hope my father will be okay. I've been one hour awake and I could see my mother and others, but I still can't see my father...

I don't want to be left without father this early in life, let's just relax and hope everything will be okay.

I jus have to wait him here at home...
