CHAPTER 5 – Characters along with some history 2.

(Haru POV)

After parting from Shizuka as she had to go towards the staff room, I walked towards my class ignoring everyone staring at me, some with love, some with envy, some with appreciation, some hate, and many more.

I have gotten used to being the centre of attention wherever I go, and the blame falls on my good looks. As for the hatred I keep feeling from the gazes, they are probably of the guys who got rejected by their crushes, because their crush liked me more. Because of my looks, I have been declared the crush of girls (even some boys) in the entire school.

Even the girls that already have a boyfriend, will leave their boyfriends if I just ask them for a night stand. There are even some girls, that get a boyfriend so that they can forcefully divert their attention from me. I have even been proposed by many girls, but I politely decline them. After all, every man has a dream to create a harem, and I know even if girls accept it, society will not. So, I was just waiting for the said society to be destroyed, and today it will happen. Then I am free.

As I kept walking towards my class, I could sense someone trying to sneak up on me from behind. But I acted oblivious because I knew who it was. And just as I thought, I was hit by a seductive fragrance and two soft things pressed on my back along with a sultry voice.

"Good morning, handsome~~~." I turned towards the owner of the voice and took in her appearance.

She has short light orange hair and a hairband to keep her hair back, though multiple strands of hair are left to fall over her forehead which stops around her eye level. A seductive and sexy face that would cause anyone to keep looking at her face. Yellow eyes which always have a gleam of lewdness whenever she talks to me.

Without even looking down, I can tell feel she is wearing some kind of sexy lingering, which she says that she wears, so she can be ready for me anytime and anywhere. I held her thin waist, which caused her to blush after all we were in the hallway. But then I could see the disappointment in her eyes when I separated her from me by using my hands that held her waist.

"Good morning, Miku. You should go for your class or you'll be late." She is Yuuki Miku, also known as the most erotic girl in the school, because of her sexual exploits with many males from the school. Though I know she stopped doing sexual activities with anyone.

She stopped doing these things because of me after all. It was the winter of my first year in school and she asked me to go out with her for a night, I agreed to her and made her have the best night she ever had in her life. I am quite proud of my techniques and my little brother down there, and I can confidently say that once a lady gets a taste of me, she will never feel good with any other guy.

That is what happened and she came to me again and this time she asked me out, to which I replied – "One time is enough for me, and I don't think I will go out with someone who isn't devoted to me alone." Call me a hypocrite or whatever you want but I wanted her, she is one of the most beautiful girls that I have seen in this world.

But I don't want a girl who can't be mine alone, even though I am thinking of opening a harem. So, indirectly gave her a test, and she passed the test. After all, she had never done with anyone after that day, and even though I could see her trying to give me clues I acted oblivious, as it was not the right time.

"Mooo~~ A beautiful girl is trying to talk to you, and you are trying to shoo her away." She said while trying to hug me again, but I held her back.

"I will 'talk' to you later, so go for now," I said cryptically with a smile, giving her a sign that it was time for her to get what she always wanted. She gave me the biggest smile she could as if understanding what I meant.

"Alright, see you later." She said and moved very fast and kissed my right cheek, even though I could stop her, I didn't. Then she went away while swaying her plump hips, trying to tempt me more.

Then I moved towards my class only to be stopped again by a gentle voice from my side.

"You sure have a lot of girls around you, Haru." I turned to my side and smiled at the owner of the voice.

"It's not like you hate it, or do you, Saeko?" I said to the girl while appreciating her beauty. Straight and shiny purple hair with a triangular fringe at the front that barely touches the ridge of her nose, blue eyes, not shiny light blue like mine but dark blue. Shiny pink lips that anyone would want to kiss, thin waist, perfect long legs that are not very muscular nor skinny they are just perfect. The tall height and toned ass, a perfect athletic beauty, also ranked 1 in girls in the school. She is Saeko Busujima, president of the kendo club.

"No, I don't hate it. It's only natural for girls to be attracted to someone perfect like you." She said with a smile while looking into my eyes at which I smiled even wider.

Then we continued our walk while talking about this and that. We have known each other since my first day at school, as the first thing I did after joining the school, was join the kendo club. My purpose in joining the club was simple, and that was to get the girl that I liked most in the whole HOTD series. She is strong, gentle, dependable, and will easily allow me to build a harem.

It is her belief that it is only natural for a strong man to have multiple girlfriends if he has the means to take care of them. She once asked me why I didn't date any of the girls who had asked me out, and I truthfully explained that I was planning to create a large harem after high school, and even invited her to join my harem. At which she only smiled gently.

I know she likes me, and she will accept me if I ask her out, but I was waiting for the zombie outbreak. I also know about her sadistic side. She told me when I deliberately pushed her to speak about it, by asking a question 'Why does it always feel like you are holding back something, whenever we spar.' I don't want to wait for a zombie outbreak to get the best girl (according to me) in the whole series. After that time, she always fought while enjoying the fight not while showing an elegant façade. Oh, and the spars always end up in a draw, even though both of us know that I can defeat her easily.

As we continued walking, we reached my class, so I said.

"Wait a sec, let me keep my bag at the desk," I said and seeing her nod I went inside the class. Reaching my bench which is known as the 'protagonist's seat' I kept my bag on the bench.

"Good morning, Haru. Going to the club again?" I turned towards the voice and greeted the girl.

"Good morning, Rei. And yes, I am going to the club with Saeko." I said while pointing toward the gate, where Saeko can be seen. I then looked back at the girl in front of me.

Her name is Rei Miyamoto, she is a member of the Sojutsu club, shown as a proficient spear user in the series. One of the main characters of the world and also one of the girls that try to divert their attention away from me by getting a boyfriend, only to fail. Rei has waist-length orange-brown hair that is tied in a single small ponytail on the back of her head while she leaves the rest of her hair down with bangs hanging over her face, she also has two strands sticking out above the rest of her hair, reddish-brown eyes and she has a slender figure with ample breasts.

She is very jumpy and is full of energy whenever she talks to me which causes her boyfriend, Hisashi Igou, to look at me with an awkward expression. Hisashi is a young man standing with a height of 5'10 feet which is above average height, has a slim build, grey hair and brown eyes, with fairly good looks.

Different from the canon where Rei and Hisashi date because of Shido, here she did it because she was trying to move away from me, or at least she tried to show that. In the series, it is shown that Rei failed in class because of Shido and had to repeat a year, but in this story, she failed because of her grandmother's health, as she had to skip school regularly to take care of her. However, in the end, her grandma died.

Then I turned towards the eyes that had been staring at me from the moment I entered the class. As I turned to meet her eyes with a smile, she turned her head away in just a second with a blush covering her whole face.

"Good morning, Saya." I said to her. Saya Takagi is also a very 'close friend' of mine.

Saya is a girl is a very intelligent girl (she always gets full marks on tests and ties with me) of under-average height with long pink hair which she mostly keeps in two ponytails on either side of her head. Her hair also has two thin, long bangs at the sides, two thin strands of hair over the left side of her forehead, and a spiky larger portion of hair covering the right side of her forehead.

Saya has fierce orange eyes and furrowed eyebrows because of her Tsundere behaviour. She wears contact lenses while also keeping glasses in her bag. Her figure is quite slender along with perfect model-sized breasts. I was her bodyguard from the time she was 13, till the time of her father's death.

At the time of Soichiro's death, both she and her mother were in despair, at that time I stayed at their house for two to three days taking care of them and cooking for them. After that time Saya's feelings towards me changed and she started to see me with love, but she never said that upfront because of her tsundere character.

After Soichiro's death I became the head guard of the house and second in command or the leader among the members of right-wing, being just below Yuriko Takagi, Saya's mother. I became the pillar the whole organization depends on in just five months after becoming a head guard. I also trained the members of right-wing myself which caused them to become stronger.

I secretly increased their strength little by little, by stealing strength from random people every day and granting it to them. I made all of them at least have an F+ in all stats even before being introduced to mana.

"G-Good morning, H-haru." She said shyly while shuttering, which caused me to smile wider. Who doesn't like when tsundere show their 'dere' part? Our interaction caused Rei to glare at me clearly showing her trait of getting jealous easily.

I ignored her and looked at the last member of the Takashi Group that is present in the class who just happened to meet my eyes, so, I smiled and gave him a nod, which he also nodded with a smile.

His name is Kohta Hirano, he is shown to be an expert in firearms and marksmanship, he might have become number one in the future if there was no me in this world. Kotha is short and overweight. Which is why he is never shown having close combat in the series. He has a shoulder-length hairstyle that has bangs reaching down from the side of his temples stretching outwards and obscuring the sides of his face. No-good face and wears glasses with a thick black frame.

Looking around the room I realized that the protagonist of the series is not in the class, same as the canon, not like I care much about him. He is neither talented in anything nor a beautiful girl, just a protagonist with high luck. Dismissing those thoughts, I walked towards Saeko with a smile. I would be more than happy to spend my time with Saeko who is both exceptionally talented and exceptionally beautiful.

I joined the school one year late because of right-wing matters, but I went to the same school as, Rei, Takashi and Saya from the start. This means in a sense I am their childhood friend, and that is also the reason why the girls who were supposed to have developed feelings for Takashi, now had feelings for me.

In this world, I, Takashi and Rei were in the same class from the start with Saya even though she was one year younger than us. But during high school, all of us had to skip school for one year. My and Saya's reasons were the same because we had to manage the group and help Yuriko, respectively. Rei had her own reason, but I don't know about Takashi's reason as I had never asked. Even if we were childhood friends, we were not that close.

"Let's go, Saeko," I said while smiling at her who has been continuously looking at me from the moment I went into the class till now. She smiled and said, "hm" with a nod and walked by my side.

'Sisty, how many system points do I have right now?' I asked Sisty. Killing criminals also provided me with system points although two to three points, it still got me some points. Then there are points I got from indirectly killing animals.

For example: I took away an elephant's strength and the same elephant got in a fight with another elephant that has the power of a normal elephant then when they crashed with full power, in just one clash the elephant whose strength is taken by me is killed. After all no matter how large it is, it only had the strength of a human left in it. There is no way a human can survive a clash with an elephant, he will be crushed. That is what happened, and I got 5 points for indirectly killing it.

[You have a total of 213 points, would you like to buy some ammunition, Haru?]

'You understand me even without me saying anything. Sisty, I love you! And yes, I want to buy some magazines for a Kahr CM9 pistol and the desert eagle that's kept in the inventory.' I said while smiling inwardly, an assistant who understands my intentions even without asking what I want.

[Thank you, but that is what I am for. A single bullet of Kahr CM9 would be for 1 point and a single bullet of Desert Eagle for 3 points. How much should I buy?]

'Buy me three extended clips of 10 bullets for Desert Eagle and ten extended clips of 7 bullets for CM9.' I said to Sisty while looking at the time remaining before everything started.

[Done. The remaining points are 53.]

While I was making my purchase, we reached the kendo club. As we entered, we were greeted by everyone as the club president and vice president. Even though I am in my second year I am the vice president, because in the Kendo club power is supreme, and do I need to sing my own praises?

I looked at everyone in the kendo club while trying to guess how many of them would be able to control their mana, as the time of judgement was very close.
