Chapter 72

I laid down on a flat platform made out of stone. I was chained to it. Candles were placed all around me and the place. Esther and Lydia were also there with me.

The place we were about to platform the spell was a grave yard named The Heights Grave. The graveyard was used back then to burn the elders and witches in the village. Most people believed their ancestors were buried there, especially the witches. So they performed power spells in the graveyard because they believed they could channel some powers from their ancestors to carry out the spell.

Esther was on a call with someone while Lydia walked up to me. "Are you good?" she asked. "Yes, I’m okay. Don’t you think it is risky to come closer to me?" I said.

I know it’s not safe to come close to you, but I know you won’t hurt me no matter what. "I know you won't take over you," she said, smiling with her hand on my head.

"Are you sure about that?" I said softly. "When will she start?" I asked. "Oh, yeah, she’s going to start shortly once she contacts her friends, who she said are really good at calling spirits out of someone’s body, especially the strong ones like the one inside you," she answered.

"Okay, then where are they? I assumed they should be here with us by now," I asked, "Esther told me they were from Nigeria," she said, "Nigeria!" I exclaimed, interrupting her.

"Yeah, they met when they visited Bowhill’s recently, and they have become friends ever since," she answered, "Oh, but like I’m actually wondering how they will get here from Nigeria this night," I said softly.

"They don't need that; they have their own aeroplane already," she said softly. "How do they have an aeroplane?"? "Did they make one for the witch over there?" I interrupted her, and she burst out laughing, making me feel stupid. "Why are you laughing? I'm just asking a question," I explained.

"Sorry about that," she apologized, "Nope, it’s okay, just explain," I replied, "Okay, like they can shaft shift into a flying bird, but they aren’t doing that tonight. We are going to channel our power together, then they are going to summon your soul over to their place and remove the spirit," she explained.

"Wow, that’s cool, so when are we going to start?" I asked, "Soon, we have to get things ready, and we will be done with that shortly," Lydia replied. Esther walked up to us, standing next to Lydia with her hand on her shoulder.

Don’t you think standing close to him at this time is risky?" she asked Lydia. She smiled, replying, "He asked me the same question, but what’s the time actually?" Esther raised her hand, I assumed she was wearing a wristwatch.

"I think it’s time," she said, "Let's move away and stay in our position," she added, "Okay," Lydia said softly, placing her hand on my hand and asking, "Hope you are ready?" I replied, "Yes, I’m ready," I said, smiling, "Don’t worry about me, let's just get the mother fucking spirit out of me," I added.
