Where's The Logic In This Case?

"Freya? Where have you been all this time?"

Freya smiles at him and stands at ease, followed by others. "I went on a journey, Your Majesty." She replied it short before she diverts her eyes to the others.

King Larren also divert his eyes to other people who standing near Freya. Again, he was a bit surprised to see someone he knew.

"Princess Yuina?"

Yuina bows his head a little. "Your Majesty."

"Oh my god!" He immediately stands up and went to her. Put his hand on her shoulder. "I heard the news..so, seeing you here…meaning, it's true?"

Yuina just slightly nods her head. "Yes, Your Majesty."

Larren then turns to her side seeing her knight. "Of course, I was worried when I receive the news, but I guess, you had a very capable protector." He smiles back at Yuina.

Freya did not say anything. However, she did not too delight seeing this moment. Larren already married. And she also a princess from Leviara kingdom, but it seems like Larren more favor to this weak kind of princess. She starts to doubt him, she heard the rumor about these two-person long ago, but she thought it just a rumor.

"Hey, Larren..how's Mika?" Ask Freya. She already drops the honorific.

Hearing Mika's name makes him suddenly turn sad. He avoids eyes contact with Yuina and staring at the floor blankly.

"She's…still like before. Even worsening." He voice also sounded so lonely and distant.

"Well, I bring a physician to look at her condition if you allow it. She also the one who was able to make a cure to the drug problem caused by Heliodor Empire. Would you like her assistance?" Freya went straight to the point.

"Well I.." He stops and looks at the convoy one by one.

"Mm..so, is this your new group? Or the physician group?"

Yuina gasps a bit before she looking at her right and left side. "My apologies, Your Highness, all of these people are my friend. We agree to help Lady Freya's friend in this kingdom."

Larren scrunches his eyebrow a bit. He then looked at Freya. "Mika?" He ask and Freya nod her head.

"Who else?" She shrugged her shoulder.

"Well.." He smiles at Yuina and the others too. "Thank you. You are allowed to visit my queen." He gives his consent to tend his wife.

"Excuse me, Your Majesty.." Kyra suddenly voices up.

"Hm?"

"I'm sorry, is Her Majesty is not well? Uh..so, the person Lady Freya was asking me to treat is…this Kingdom's Queen?"

Freya suddenly gasp. "Oops. My bad. I forgot to tell you the details about the person I mentioned before."

"Yes, she is this Kingdom's Queen. Princess Mika Arculis, from the Amethyst Kingdom."

Yuina knit her eyebrow a bit. 'Amethyst Kingdom? Isn't that kingdom already vanish and conquered by Peridot? So…this is how it is, huh?'

"I see." Kyra nods her head. So her question has been answered. This is quite hard for her. This time, she is surrounded by the princess.

If Freya already acting like that, she wonders, what Mika will be like after this? Not only that, but Yuina is also in a tough position. She must be going to be insulted again by the two of them. 'urgh…if only I said no before.'

"Shall we go now?" Freya lifts up her eyebrow to Kyra.

"Yes, please."

They stop in front of the huge chamber. At the front of the door, there are two soldiers with full armor guarding the door. The door also seems like it's has been layered with a blue light spell. Only Freya, Yuina, and three other stranger who can see the layered.

"Your Majesty." The soldier immediately kneels down in front of the King.

"Rise. Open the barrier and the door for my guest." He instructed the soldier.

One of them makes a royal emblem in the air before he pushed his palm in front of the door. Slowly, the blue layered faded away and the door open by itself.

The soldier than continue to keep on guard after all of the guests went inside the room.

None of them said anything. They keep all their question in their mind first. In this kingdom, the language is quite different from the Zirconia Kingdom. For Farrell and Kyra to communicate and understand their language is quite hard, therefore, Freya already cast a language barrier spell for both of them.

Zane comes from a wealthy family and his family run a business to another empire too, so learning another language is a must in his family. Thus, it quite easy for him to travel. Same goes with Grey. He often got to send out to a mission as a spy at the outside of the Zirconia Kingdom, learning and communicating with a commoner from other kingdom has been a routine for him.

Inside the room, they saw a big canopy bed covered with silk curtain. A few royal servants standing at both sides of the bed. Once they saw King Larren walk into the room, all of them bow their head.

"Greeting, Your Majesty." They said simultaneously.

Slightly nodding his head, he peeks through the curtain. "How's she doing?"

One of the royal servants come front and said politely. "Her Majesty is still as before, Your Majesty." Her voice sounds nervous and at the same time her face a bit pale than before.

Maybe she was afraid to report to him that there is no progress at all.

Larren sigh deeply. "Call royal physician now." He then turns around and invites all of them to sit on the sofa inside the spacious bedroom.

Once they sat down, Yuina took a chance to ask him. "I'm sorry, Your Highness for my impudence, but, may I know what happens to Her Highness? She seems like she was sleeping soundly."

Larren took a little glance at Yuina. "She's..has been put under an unknown spell. It may look like she was sleeping, but in the meantime, her body system slowly shutting down until her last breath. It's been so long since this happen. Many of wizard in all around this kingdom has tried to save her, but none of it come with good news."

"Sorry for interrupting, milord. But, who is the culprit? Have you interrogate the culprit?" Hayden took the second question. He takes a seat beside Yuina and Freya took a seat beside him. It's not like he invites her, but Freya keeps shamelessly pestering him.

Larren sighing and pinch his temple a bit. "The culprit, huh? I really don't want to talk about this, but since you from my friend's troupe, I guess it's alright."

Hayden scrunches a bit. 'Hey come on. Don't even think to flirt with Yuina again.'

"The culprit is her own sister. Princess Mikayla. The youngest of the four of them. Mika is the third daughter." With that being said, all of them startled except Freya.

"She cast the spell so that Mika will die and she will be the next Queen. She falls in love with King Larren but the one that King Larren choose to be his bride is the third daughter, with that, she held a grudge to her own sister. She now resides in her fallen kingdom, Amethyst kingdom along with Mika's family. We can't simply arrest her since King Larren already makes an agreement with King Arculis to protect his kin." Freya continues the explanation. She knows it must be hard for Larren to do so.

Kyra bit her lower lip. 'She was put under the spell and you want me to cure her with a medicine? Where's the logic in this case? Isn't spell need to fight with the spell too? Oh, dear..what kind of trap is this?'

"Hmm..that's tough. We can't put charge to princess Mikayla either since it's a spell, there's no valid proof to prove her wrongdoing. Unless there is an eye witness." Grey interject.

"The eye witness for her crime already dead. So its no use now. The only way is to save her life. But there is also another problem that this kingdom face." Freya said straight to the point.

"Freya.." Larren tries to stop her from saying more than that.

"Larren..your people are suffering. This group is no ordinary group. If they willing to help you, that's great right?"

Yuina looks at him. He seems troubled. "You can tell us. If we can help within our range, we'll be happy to assist you."

"Yuina…" Kyra on the other sofa already feels a bit anxious.
