Is She A Gorilla?

"Princess, dinner's ready." Hayden leans a bit on the tent flap. He waited at the outside for a few moments before Yuina flips the entrance flap and get out from the tent.

"Erm, thank you, Hayden." She said with a smile on her face. She then tilts her head a little to Kyra's direction.

She was eating her portion while sitting near the fireplace. "Have you eaten yet, Hayden?" She asks.

Shake his head, he replies "No, princess." He then extended his hand to her and once she holds his hand, he leads her to the wood trunk near the fireplace.

After she sitting, Hayden took her portion and give it to her. "Try to eat this."

Yuina stares at the coconut shell which is full of the meat stew. The picture of that rabbit still lingering in her mind. She feels like crying if she was about to eat that meat.

"This one is different from before. I find another meat for you. Since Kyra only made one sauce, so the meat looks exactly the same. Right, Kyra?" Hayden tries to coax her to eat. She needs to eat to have the energy for tomorrow.

Kyra nods her head. "He finds another 'meat' for you to eat. Come on, don't you feel guilty to Hayden? He looking a lump of new meat just for you, you know." Kyra make a face like 'Don't be a spoiled kid! Just eat your portion.'

Yuina turns to Hayden. Looking at his gentle eyes, she sighs a bit and took the coconut shell from Hayden's hand.

"Thank you for your effort, Hayden." She smiles and starts to gobble her food.

He just nods his head and took his own portion to eat. He sits beside Yuina and facing Kyra. He lifts up his eyebrow a bit to her and smile. Showing his gratitude to her lie just now. Of course, he didn't leave Yuina's side without any guard from him or Kyra.

After all, it just for tonight. After this, they will more careful when it's come to food. Whatever he gets for dinner or lunch, he will make sure Yuina did not see it first.

Tasting the meat, her eyes lit a bit. "Emm…this is delicious. It is so soft and tender. Juicy inside." She compliments Kyra's cooking skill.

"Well…" Kyra lift up her eyebrow. Show off her talent to Hayden.

"I'm a good cooker apparently." She shoves her hair to the back a bit.

Yuina chuckle to hear that. While Hayden, he just enjoying his dinner. Indeed, Kyra is a good cooker. Not only that, she is the most reliable companion.

"Ah! Hayden, after this you need to change your bandage. Come inside the tent later and I treat your wound." Kyra reminds him. She needs to check on his wound to make sure the wound did not open because of the hunting and finding the firewoods for the fireplace.

After dinner, like what Kyra instruct, he went inside the tent and sit at the center of it. Yuina sits at the entrance flap while looking Kyra do the bandaging changing.

"Take off your clothes," Kyra said.

Yuina feels a bit embarrass to hear Kyra ask him to take off his clothes. She blushed a bit and lowered her head.

"If you feel uncomfortable, you can turn your body to face the outside. But make sure I can see your back." Hayden notices her face looks like she's uncomfortable.

Maybe she did not want to see his scarred body. It's quite ugly after all. With many scars on it. He can understand it. A princess like her, why would she want to look at his ugly body?

Yuina clenching her hand and turn her body around, she facing the outside of the tent. She did not have the heart to see his wounded body. It is because of her he had so many scars like that. It's all her fault that they fell from the cliff before. She feels so guilty to him.

Kyra looks at both of them. She feels like she wants to facepalm her own face. But, now is not a good time to do so. Once Hayden opens up his clothes, she trails the wound on his body.

"You need to lessen your burden on your bag. Let me carry half of it. Your wound had slightly inflammation on your shoulder." Kyra said while putting the traditional ointment she make when she was at home.

"You're a woman. You can't lift a heavy bag. I am responsible for your safety, so it doesn't bother me to carry those bag."

Kyra squinted her eyes before she presses her finger on his wound.

"Owww!" Hayden groans a bit. The pressure she put on his wound makes him throbbing in pain. 'Is she a gorilla or what? Her pressing is hell!'

"Stop being so nice to everyone. This is why a certain someone fails to see what you're doing." Kyra said and look at another wound of his body.

"Why can't I be nice to a nice person?" He murmurs.

"Ah..forget it. I'll carry half of the bag. Don't argue that with me." Kyra already moves to find the clean cloth to wrap back his body.

Hayden did not reply to anything to her. He knew Kyra can rely on.

"Lift up your arm." She said and Hayden does as she says.

While wrapping her body, she chuckles a bit. "You know..you had a very attractive body as a man. I can bet so many women craving to have this kind of body for her partner."

Hayden scrunches his eyebrow and tilts his head a little. Not knowing whether she really mean it or she just mocking him.

Yuina at the entrance flap already imagines something that she shouldn't have. She blushed and feels like her face burning up. 'Why do I feel so embarrassed right now?'

"Okay, done. Now, go to your side." Kyra cleans up the mess on the floor and put it back on the bag.

"Princess, come inside," Hayden calls her and ready to do his daily routine. Waiting for her to sleep.

Went back inside, she hurriedly finds her thin blanket and covers her body until her head. She lay beside Hayden and facing Kyra's back.

"Are you cold?" Hayden asks when he saw Yuina cover all her body with the blanket.

She shakes her head. "N..no."

"Hm?" Hayden then tries to move the blanket and touch her forehead. Just for a seconds before Yuina shoves his hand gently.

"I'm fine Hayden." She tries to assure him.

"Are you sure?" He asks again.

"Mm." She nods her head.

Kyra at the side of the tent already giggling to hear their conversation. 'Oh..how cute this adorable couple.'

The next day,

They continue their journey follows the old road. They continue to walk for another two days until they reached the near border of Emerald city.

"We can't just go there and walk around with our current state. Emerald Province is known as where most of the richest family staying. They might have known your face and you too Hayden." Kyra said.

"You wait here, if I'm not mistaken, in Emerald city they had a unique dress. Their woman wears something on their head to cover their hair..hmm..what's it called." Hayden crosses his both arm around his chest trying to remember the name.

"Uh, turban.." Yuina suddenly remembers the name of it. She knows about it since she used to wear it when she was at the castle. One of the lords from Emerald city gifted her with one set of the dress and the turban. She did like the traditional dress from the Emerald City. It makes her face turn like her mother when she covers her hair with the turban.

"Oh, wait. I think I know this guy." Kyra turns her head to the side when she spots one of the merchandiser using the old road just like them.

The merchandiser uses the horse and carriage to bring his thing. He usually travels all around the province to sell a few things. That is why Kyra know him. He likes to use the old road.

She waves her hand toward that old merchandiser.

"Uncle Vigor. Hey! It's me!" Kyra shout at him and waving her hand.

From afar, that old man already laughs seeing his regular customer. He halts his horse and gets off to the ground.

"Hey, Kyra. What are you doing here?" He said with a wide smile on his face.

Hayden already hid Yuina behind his cape and cover his head with the hood. He stands not far from Kyra.

"Urm, uncle..do you have any dress and turban as what Emerald citizen always use?" She asks.

"Huh? Oh, of course I have. Come. I show you my new collection." He went to the carriage at the back.

Kyra without waiting, climb up the carriage and start to find something for them. Uncle Vigor did not bother to look at the suspicious man not far from him. For him, he always meets with the foreigner, traveler, villain and all kind of people he had met before.

"Ah! I found it. Uncle, can we buy this?" Kyra shows the dresses that she picks and some clothes for Hayden too.

"Sure, sure." Uncle Vigor nods his head.

Kyra looks at Hayden. Asking him to pay for the dress. Without any delay, he took out one gold coin from his small sack bag.

"Is this coin enough?"
