Bitter Memories

"Do not turn too fast. Slow down there and feel the beat." Nora spoke in a soft voice. She wrapped her large calloused palm around Abi's waist and slowed her down. Abi took a breath and did that again earning a nod from Nora.

It had been three hours since they were dancing. She was sure it was way past midnight but Nora did not show any sign of stopping. She had asked Abi to let go of heels after looking at her feet.

But surprisingly, she did not stop Abi from dancing or moving. But at the same time she was so tender as if all her concentration was on making sure that Abi did not hurt her feet. It had been so long since someone cared so much about these simple things.

"When I twirl you, let me guide you. Do not act on your own. It is the duty of the man to make sure that your moves are perfect. You are not reasonable for those mistakes." if only Dion had believed that too.
