"Sigh..."

"It has been such a stressful week!"

I took in a deep breath to calm my nerves.

Currently, I was sitting in the [Student Council Room], alone. Everyone was busy doing something!

The Enrollment Week has always been so hectic!

The various incidents this week were nerve-wracking and drained a lot of my energy!

Being the [President Of Student Council] is not easy at all!

Just how exactly did Su-chan and Erik managed to organize the Enrollment Event for the various clubs, in such a short time, two years ago!?

I honestly have no idea!

Speaking of Erik, where is he?

I haven't seen him for a couple of days.

Everything should be fine, right?

Should I call him and ask if everything is okay?

I checked the clock to see how much time was left until the break ends.

Oh? 3:50 p.m...

This means that I have ten more minutes left.

I took out my cell phone and called Erik.

"Hello?" (Erik)

"Yeah, Erik? Is everything okay?" (Mayumi)

"Oh yeah, I have been busy with some private matters. The release date of the new generation C.A.Ds is near, so I am doing some last-minute checks." (Erik)

"Ohk! I haven't heard from you for a couple of days so I thought I should call you and ask if everything is alright?" (Mayumi)

"Everything is fine, Mayumi. Don't worry, I will be attending school in a few days." (Erik)

"No no, you don't need to if you are busy! I was just missing you so I thought I should call you." (Mayumi)

"Focus on the release first! It is much more important than school stuff!" (Mayumi)

You don't need to worry about me when you are busy, Erik.

It's not like you are gone for a long time.

I will have patience!

And some cuddl—ahem....!

"Haha.....don't worry, I will be back real soon."

"Now, you tell me about what is happening in the school? From your voice, I can tell that you are quite exhausted." (Erik)

"I don't want to burden you with my problems! You already have a big project ongoing." (Mayumi)

"Miyuki would enter the Student Council and Tatsuya would enter the Public Moral Committee, even though Tatsuya vehemently objected to this decision." (Mayumi)

"Mari thought that Tatsuya has potential so she also accepted this compromise." (Mari)

"Unfortunately, later that day, as Tatsuya and Miyuki again entered the Student Council Room, they were confronted by the vice-president, Hattori Gyoubushoujo Hanzou." (Mayumi)

"Hattori objected to Tatsuya's appointment to the Public Morals Committee, angering Miyuki. Tatsuya, to calm her down, challenged Hattori to a duel." (Mayumi)

"Oh? Interesting, Hattori is very skilled but from your tone, it seems like he didn't win?" (Erik)

"Couldn't win? No, the battle was extremely one-sided." (Mayumi)

"Tatsuya and Hattori's battle lasted only seconds and later Hattori apologized to Miyuki." (Mayumi)

"According to Tatsumi Koutarou and Sawaki Midori, two members of the Public Moral Committee, they acknowledged Tatsuya's strength after hearing he had beaten Hattori and Sawaki testing him as well." (Mayumi)

"Okay continue..." (Erik)

"So yeah, inside the gym, Mibu Sayaka, the winner of the practice match, was interrupted by Kirihara Takeaki, a member of the Kenjutsu club, who believed he could help demonstrate the strength of the kendo club better." (Mayumi)

"They started to fight and he lost. Angered by this loss, Kirihara used the fatal magic, [Sonic Blade]. This made Tatsuya disarm him with magic and shove him to the ground." (Mayumi)

"Oh? This Shiba Tatsuya seems pretty capable." (Erik)

"He is intelligent and somewhat like you but also nothing like you if that makes any sense?" (Mayumi)

"Hm...I understand." (Erik)

"So next he would have told the other Kenjutsu Club members to calm down? If I am right?" (Erik)

"Yeah..." (Mayumi)

"So, enraged by the idea of a Weed ordering them around, the other Kenjutsu club members engaged Tatsuya in a fight." (Mayumi)

"But his skills prove to be too much for them. Though he claims to be Kokonoe Yakumo's student so it is understandable." (Mayumi)

"Indeed, Mr.Yakumo is a very capable shinobi and martial arts master." (Erik)

"Yeah, so this is it...though I do feel like something is about to happen, but I don't know what?" (Mayumi)

"Hm...keep an eye on Mibu Sayaka, I have known Kirihara for some time and I don't believe that he is someone who acts arrogantly." (Erik)

"Uh? Okay, I will keep that in mind!" (Mayumi)

"Good girl!..." (Erik)

"I am not a kid, Erik!" (Mayumi)

"Humph! I will talk to you later!" (Mayumi)

Beep!

I decided to quickly end our conversation as the break was almost over and anyone could walk inside the room.

"Phew...." (Mayumi)

I placed my cell phone inside my bag and took another deep breath, my shoulder slacked and I felt the tension escaping my body.

I leaned forward and put my head on the table, wrapping my arms around it to hide my blushing face.

I decided to close my eyes and picture him.

'When will you come back, Erik?'

I don't need a mirror to know that I have a silly smile etched on my face!

(Third POV)

He had a genuine smile on his face which slowly turned into a calculating grin as he looked towards his cell phone.

Knock!

"Come in!" (Erik)

The door opens, revealing a middle-aged man wearing a black suit.

"Welcome, Major Kazama! I am sorry to have kept you waiting." (Erik)

"It's all good, Mr.Saltzman." (Kazama)

"Looks like the time is near, Major Kazama!" (Erik)

"You want to finally get rid of Blanche?" (Kazama)

"Indeed, I am just waiting for the right change." (Erik)

"If I am not wrong then the 'mind-controlled' Mibu Sayaka will take control of the broadcasting room, forcefully." (Erik)

"She will push my fiance to compromise with her requests, and as much as I know Mayumi." (Erik)

"She will probably use this opportunity to curb the division between Course-1 and Course-2 students, opening an [Open Forum] to easily change the rules." (Erik)

"And using this opportunity, the Blanche will attack and try to steal the cutting edge technology of this country." (Erik)

"Unfortunately for them, this [Open Forum] will not go as they would have planned." (Erik)

"Juumonji and I, we will deal with the intruders after which we can take care of the Leader of Blanche (Japan) with the help of the Japanese government." (Erik)

"We already have the information on all their plans and resources along with their hideouts, Blanche is no longer useful." (Erik)

"Hm....you do know that a lot of this is just your plain prediction, right?" (Kazama)

"I don't dare doubt your capabilities Erik but your plans seem like you are certain that everything will follow your vision." (Kazama)

Hearing Major Kazama's apprehension regarding his words, made Erik smile with a calm expression on his face.

"Everything will go as I have told you, Major Kazama." (Erik)

"After all, that has been the case for the past two years." (Erik)

"Now, isn't that true?" (Erik)

"Sigh!... I understand, Mr.Saltzman." (Kazama)

"Everything will proceed as you have planned." (Kazama)

"Thank you, Major Kazama." (Erik)

"But before that..." (Kazama)

"...promise me that Mibu will not be held accountable." (Kazama)

"An old friend has called in a favor and I need to abide by my promise." (Kazama)

"Sure, why not?" (Erik)

"Considering the services Mibu Sayaka's father, a former Major has provided to this country, it shouldn't be a problem to pardon her." (Erik)

"Provided she hasn't committed something serious." (Erik)

"Thank you..." (Kazama)

"Likewise, Major Kazama..." (Erik)
