Glimpse of the Doom...*

February 13th, 2090,

A hour after the liberation from the shackles of eternal fox,

The populace recovered from their daze in a few moments. And, after doing so, their first decision was to celebrate their newfound freedom!

"Wohoo!!! The restrictions are gone!!!"

"Yeah! Let's visit the Chaos Walkers!"

"Miracle Drug! You are mine!"

"Hahaha!"

While the other races were busy marveling at their new powers obtained from the Doom System, the humans moved towards the nearest branch of Chaos Walker to get their hands on at least one vial of the Miracle drug and finally evolve their race!

Meanwhile, this newfound freedom awakened the slumbering demons inside the inhabitants, as many humans, dragons, dwarves, elves, and others began brewing some evil plans to use this freedom for their own profit.

They wanted to introduce crimes like slavery, assassination, bounty hunting, robbery, etc., aiming to establish their own organizations and ultimately become the biggest criminals in the city!!!

These types of thoughts swirled in the minds of the masses while they remained oblivious to the consequences of the disappearance of their guardian!

After all, every action has its own equal and opposite reaction...

"?!"

Amidst the joy of the inhabitants, some unwelcome guests arrived with sinister smiles on their gruesome faces, greeting the people with their sharp teeth and ferocious fangs, horrifying their very being with their sudden appearance!

After all, why wouldn't they be? The monsters of the abyss, residing in the deepest parts of the dungeons, had emerged on the surface!!!

Swish!

Thud!

"Huh?!!!"

"Wha-!"

"God..."

"Mommy!!!"

In moments of their appearance, they started slaughtering the masses with an eerie smile on their gruesome faces, scarring the heck out of the others witnessing the disturbing scene!

Aside from shouting for help, none of them could react due to the sheer amount of horror!

From the countless eerie portals, emitting a purple glow, countless abyssal creatures invaded the cities, leaving splintered organs and blood in their wake, along with the miserable cries of the victims...

In every area, the influx of these creatures brought dread among the not so innocent souls, awakening them to the intoxication of the newly acquired power, shoving the harsh truth in their faces!

They regretted their foolishness...

They regretted not training while they could...

They regretted remaining weak...

They regretted ever cursing the Eternal Fox, their savior...

Sadly for them, there's no medicine for regret...

"Save me please!"

A few hundred meters away from the headquarters of the Neo guild, a child came running towards it while being chased by an abyssal creature. If not for its purple fur emitting a deadly miasma and the wretched expression on its face, it was impossible to differentiate between it and an oversized bear!

It kept chasing the young human with its short legs, never straying too far nor too close to the child, as if playing with its prey.

Thud!

"Ah!"

After running tens of meters, a hundred meters away from Tiamat (The Headquarters of Neo guild), the horrified boy's legs gave up, and he fell on the ground, destroying his hope of being saved.

Looking at his fallen prey, the abyssal bear got bored of his little game and approached his prey to finish him, once and for all.

"Someone save me!"

"NOOO! Let me live!"

Witnessing his death slowly approaching him, the boy cried his lungs out due to the sheer amount of fear! And yet, even in the face of fear, he didn't lose his hope and cried for help, one last time...

{Flaming Sphere!}

Screeech!

Thud!

Thankfully, help arrived in the form of the finest explorers of Neo guild under the leadership of Ophelia Abaddon herself!

She graciously burned the abyssal bear with her flames and calmly looked at the shivering boy, still shocked by the spectacle.

"Oh little guy, take shelter in that bunker, It's not safe here."

"T-thank y-you!"

This brief sentence of Ophelia brought the little guy out of his daze as he ran inside the Tiamat after expressing his heartfelt gratitude.

"Guild leader, here!"

Ophelia's secretary also arrived there, clad in combat uniform as she signaled towards the direction opposite to the Merlin Academy.

They left towards that area, ready to cleanse Origin from these vile creatures!

On that day,

The Guilds, The Empires and the local adventures joined under one banner to kill all of these creature!

Under the threat of extinction, every let go of their grudges and fought courageously against the unending waves of monster!

And yet, those monsters showed no sign of depletion, instead, their numbers kept increasing with each passing second....

In this hopeless situation, can they survive?

Will some miracle save them?

Will the Heroes rise in these dire circumstances?
