" I just got invited to the Nova expo !! " Gwen said in a small shriek . 

She looked at her friends with excited which was Peter, May and Grey. 

" That's soo cool . I wish I could go " Peter said revealing his geeky side. 

" That's the best part . I have three more tickets . So we can all go !" Gwen said.

Peter was excited and when he looked at Mary. She couldn't help but smile at Peter's geeky side. This was one the reasons she fell for him.

Gwen looked at Grey who was generally uninterested.

" Grey , do you want to come ?" Gwen asked.

" On one condition. " Grey said.

" And that is ?" Gwen asked curiously.

" You stay with me . " Grey said.

Gwen blushed.

" What do you mean ?" Gwen asked shyly.

Mary Jane smiled.

" He's asking on a date , aren't you ?" She asked looking at Grey. 

" A double date , that sounds like fun " Peter said. 

' No , I just wanted to keep an eye on her away from the pervert ' Grey thought but on the outside he smiled.

" That's exactly what I was thinking. " Grey said and this made Gwen blush even more .

The group entered and they were marvelled with what awaited them. They enjoyed walking and taking photos. 

It was generally a fun experience until they sat on a small tent like restaurant that was in the expo.

As they ate. Max came also to order his food with many people talking to him. 

He was after all the celebrity of the expo. 

Peter and Gwen also got excited and luckily they got an audience with him.

" Ah yes Gwen Stacy. Nice to see you again. I take it you're enjoying yourself ?"

" Yes thanks for the tickets. This is my friend Peter. " Gwen said to which Max shook his hand politely. 

" Hello sir it's a pleasure to meet you" 

" The pleasure is all mine "

He then turned to Gwen .

" I thought there would be the four of you . Considering you asked for four tickets. " Max asked curiously.

" And thank you soo much for that, My other friends are sitting right over there. " Gwen said pointing at Mary and Grey .

Meanwhile Grey and Mary chatted.

" He seems charming although there's something weird about him . I can't quite pinpoint. " Mary said.

Grey looked at Mary with a curious eyes 

" Why do you think so ?" Grey asked.

" Don't know just a feeling. " Mary shrugged.

Grey smiled. 

" You're a smart fellow. You and Peter are good for each other. " Grey said.

" Where did that come from?" Mary asked.

" Peter has high intelligence when it comes to science and you on the other hand are very good with people compared to him . " Grey said looking at Mary .

" This is why I tell you to thoroughly trust your instincts. Stay away from him lest you want to be a slave " Grey said.

" My instincts also tell me that you're way worse than him , should I trust it. " Mary said trying to study Grey and to her surprise he just chuckled.

" Once again you're right but with me you have assurance " 

Mary's heart skipped a beat . She knew Grey was powerful due to Peter and knew he had killed.

" And what assurance would that be ?" 

" I like Peter, he's fun and geeky. And when I like someone or something I tend to have their interest at heart. Peter is interested in you so I'll never harm you . " Grey said with an innocent smile. He had mixed some tuths and some lies.

He liked Peter's company but he never had his interest in his heart. The only reason he even disturbed himself warning her is because he knew Peter would change and he did not want his pet to change.

Mary looking at him believed his words.

" Shouldn't you also be telling Gwen . By the looks of it that Max is trying to pursue her. " Mary said. 

" I know . But I also know no matter what he does he'll fail so there's really no need for me to actually protect her. Infact I think it would be beneficial " Mary looked at Grey with some slight shock .

She couldn't understand why he would tell her off from Max and not Gwen.

Looking at Gwen , Grey knew what she was thinking.

" Am telling you because you have no protection from his mind control however for Gwen it would depend on her wish as she can't be manipulated. " Grey said.

Mary scoffed.

" So you think if Max pursued her he could never get her ?" Mary asked skeptically.

" Oh am certain. On another note can you do something for me . " Grey said.

Mary raised an eyebrow. She was curious.

" When the time comes and you'll know when it comes , tell Gwen ' Max did it ' . She'll be skeptical at first and deny it but assure her that he did it . She'll know what to do . " Grey said.

Mary looked at him crazily. 

" Alright.... " 

Suddenly they heard someone behind them.

" Good evening . You must be Gwen's friends." Max approached them 

Grey gave him a smile. It seemed genuine but Mary knew better. 

They shook hands and and Max widened at a notification he just had. 

He approached to shake Mary's hand but she said she was slightly sick and didn't want to affect him.

Peter looked at her in worry but seeing the look he gave her he understood that she just hated the man. 

" Well it was nice seeing you . Mind if I show you around ?" 

" No thanks . Would you mind our date ?" Mary asked looking at Peter. 

Peter understood and apologized as well before going to Mary.

' Ah so they're together. A shame I'd have liked to eat that sumptuous ass. ' Grey thought.

He then looked at the other two. 

" What about you guys ?" He looked at the two.

' Nevermind I'll just woo Gwen then. ' 

Gwen was excited but looking at Grey slightly hesitated. She wasn't sure if Grey would like it.

" No thanks, you see we're in a double date and we wouldn't want to ruin it " Grey said. 

' That's unfortunate. Maybe next time then ' Max said before disappearing.

' I'll just have to ' convince ' him to stay away from Gwen. ' He thought.

Later as they were about to leave. Grey excused himself to go to the restroom where he met Max. 

" Oh hi Mister... um it seems like I have forgotten your name. " Grey said.

A vein popped in Max head. 

" Max . My name is Max. You're close with Gwen huh " He asked.

" Yeah . I mean her father did adopt me " Grey said.

' That never happened in Marvel? ' Max thought. 

" Anyway kid , how about I give you 20 grand and you forget about Gwen . " Max asked.

' Money makes the world go round and am pretty sure that a kid such as him would be swayed by Money. ' Max thought.

" Wow , I really didn't think the great Max is interested in underage kids "

Max looked at him defiantly and Grey couldn't help but be amused. 

" You know I saw how it ends between us. You try to control me which proves futile and you manage to anger me. You think you win which makes you lax. And the day you truly fall in love. I take that away. 

I could kill you but the future I saw is full of many plot holes like what did you do to make me soo angry to take such an innocent soul.

So I'll let you live for the sake of that excitement. I want to see what you'll do. " 

Grey said with a smug expression before walking away. Little did he know that was going to be something he's going to regret for a long while.

Max who was left behind started laughing like a maniac. 

" You think you're some god do you ? I'll make sure to rape the Gwen you so love in front of you " Max vowed.
