Reviews of The Evil Consort Above An Evil King

I will start by saying that this story does have potential, however, I think a huge part of it was missed in translation. I cant fathom that a final draft could pass with this many gramatical errors and plot holes. The main character starts out wonderfully multidimensional but as the story moves along she somehow starts losing intelligence. What happened to the coniving schemer, what happened to the “face slapping,” where did our Strong Female Lead go? Then the plot holes start to appear sporadicly, soon consistently, to the point that I could no longer find the book enjoyable. Maybe if it was stripped back down to the key concepts and then built back up again it could really unleash whats trying to be told? Good luck to anyone that undertakes this challenge.

I love this novel. There’s so many things added in and a fair warning it’s really long with 3068 chapters so be patient and enjoy the creative mind of the writer. Anything you can possibly do the author has and more. It’s a beautiful story about love and lost and how to forgive. Give it a try because I did and have stuck with it for 2 years now and it had just ended. It was worth it.

The story was good but too long. I started reading this book in 2018 and it was finished this year 2020. I’m glad the book is finally finished but at the same time I know I’ll miss it. Thanks to the author and the translator team for making 2 years of reading this book enjoyable.

I love the story soooo much but its dragging too long but even though i love the mystery behind the whole story ...im really dying to know the ending

This is the only ancient novel that i read😆😆 I start from Di Fuyi and ****ager Gu XiJiu to they married until Gu XiJiu give birth to they children big😁😁 I feel like i grow old with the story😅😅

This story is so addicting i barely sleep now because of this but its too way long still i read it the author is so amzing z Such a talented person with a great skill of writing i wish it will rank higher...

It seems their adventures have not ended yet ... What's next dear author? I haven't figured out yet why many things are happening to them unexpectedly ..

I really hate what's happening to the main characters. But I commend the writer who came up with the twitch in the story. I admit I'm looking forward to a happy ending.

This story has a great amount of detail that goes into character development, scenery and character descriptions. I will say be ready for heartache.

So many twists and turns.... It makes me sad...... don't get me wrong, I love the story, it just really makes me sad, for Fuyi, Xijiu.... even for Long Xi.... to everyone who is involed (romantically) to Xijiu

Another must read, loads of adventure, plot is good and funny characters. When will the female and male character be on the same page? Can wait until the main character figures out who the bad guys are...

Not a very big fan of reading novels but this particular one is very good and definitely worth reading!! I love reading novels about cultivation recently and this one was really good !!
