The infant giant lizard roared out in pain as it got slashed. The giant lizard got angry and retaliated as it slams its left hand aiming at Drake.

But Drake reacted and barely dodged it. Although his agiliy stat is far inferior compared to the elite monster but his reaction speed was fast enough to avoid the incoming attack.

Basic attack!

'Hm I guess im not strong enough to deal damage with my regular attacks.' Drake thought so. "Well I guess i'll just have to rely on my skill!" And so Drake kept attack with his [Strike] skill until the giant lizard fell after a minute later.

'Damn these guys give so much exp!' even though the system didnt give an additional experience bonus due to the monster not of a higher level but at its base is more than the normal monsters by 5 time.

Drake who slained the beast looks around seeing the monsters in a new light and his eyes glistened as his face making a wicked smile towards them as if a predator found its prey.

'Each elite monster takes about a minute to take one out, but since theres plenty of you all, I DONT HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT LEVELING UP!'

And so Drake started to go on a rampage on the battlefield killing them slowly one by one and each time he levels up he destributed all his points into strength so he can kill them faster and easier but also occasionally allocate those points towards both of his Indurance and Agility stats for Increase survivability and movement speed.

Over time Drake grew stronger he faced more monsters at the same time than taking them out one by one.

As monsters decreases in numbers as he slaughters more and his rampage continues, it eventually caught the attention of other players.

"W-what's that!?"

"What where?"

"There at the distance!"

Drake who didn't noticed the commotion he made jumped up, activating his skill, he strikes down with his broadsword into the back of the giant scorpion.

[Strike]!

The players who were near by or somewhere in the battlefield saw this were wide eyed and shocked.

"HOLY S#*&!"

"MOTHERFU- HE DEALT SO MUCH DAMAGE!"

"WE CAN'T EVEN DEAL ONE DAMAGE TO THESE BASTARDS HOW CAN HE DEAL SO MUCH!?"

"F@#&, WHO OF THIS GUY!?"

As Drake was still unaware whats happening in the background, he kept on fighting until the giant scorpion is dead after using [Strike] seven times consecutively on it.

Players watching this scene caused a huge uproar amongst themselves. To them this abrupt situation where someone taken down what is supposedly impossible for them to kill fell dead by a player, how can they not be shocked?

[System: Boss Wave will now occur in 1 minute.]

Abruptly a system message appeared in front of the players view informing them the boss monster will soon appear.

"F*#$ we havent even dealt with this hoards, how can we face a boss already!?"

"What the f@#$ were the developers thinking!?"

"SCREW THIS im quitting!"

"DONT GIVE UP WE CAN STILL MAKE IT!"

Players reacted differently to the message. Some complained, some were thinking of quitting the game here and there, while others haven't given up.

But Drake continued to grind as much as he can before the boss arrived.

Drake who just defeated a giant worm is now Lvl.30 and distributed his remaining two points into strength.

[System: the remaining time is up, Boss Wave will now start.]

Following the systems announcement, a roar so loud it felt like the sound of thunder.

The players including Drake was trying to locate where the loud sound occurred.

"HM?! OVER THERE!"

"WHERE!?"

"THERE AT THE DISTANCE!"

An assassin player pointed out. Surely enough they located where the loud roar came from.

"HUH!?"

In the distance amongst the newly arrived hoards of monsters, a five meter tall grey skinned humanoid creature with two pairs of large sharp fangs and tusk in his mouth and red marks all over its body holding what it looks to be a greatsword on its right hand.

When players inspected the information of the boss they could not help but be perplexed.

"DAMMIT the game just started, BUT WHAT IS THIS!?"

And so another commotion happened.

Drake who stopped for a bit overheard the discussions amongst players. But he ignored them soon after.

Drake ran towards the direction of the boss hoping to end the quest quickly. The players on the battlefield and the onlookers soon noticed his actions.

"Hey that guy from earlier, he's going towards the boss!"

"REALLY?! Where!?"

"Look he's over there!"

As the players watch and discuss amongst themselves. Drake was almost at the boss but he had to stopped half-way because....

Grrrrrr...

'Crap.' Yes, it was due to the monsters gathered and surrounded him. Drake had no choice but to fight them before he could reach the boss.

1, 2, 4, 7, 13..... He's slaying monster left and right but there were too many.

'F@#$ they just keep coming!' even though Drake has leveled up and gotten stronger but that doesn't mean he can take on a whole army at the same time.

As Drake was struggling and having a hard time dodging from multiple attacks and overall trying to survive.

But as one of the giant worms was about to hit him from behind.

An abrupt sound was heard. Drake who heard it turned his head and see's a brown haired male holding a longsword covered with blood on its blade who seems to be a swordsman.

"Hey... Did you-"

KIIIIEEEEEEE

Before Drake could finish his sentence the giant worm was enraged and started to wildly attack.

Both Drake and the unknown swordsman had no time to chat and thus has no other choice but to deal with it. As both players dodges the enraged worms attacks, both of them activated their respective skills.
