Chapter 7: Gods?

AN: I was actually wondering on who to pair up with Albert.

"We should find a place to stay in for the night I guess."

It has been two hours since the group left Tokyo and they finally arrived at Kyoto. It normally took longer if they used normal trains, but since they took the bullet train they arrived much faster.

Though bullet trains are rather expensive, with Alex there was no need to worry.

"We should go to Ihinari Hotel, though the place is expensive, it offers great services since its a 3 star hotel." Rika stated, "I haven't really been there before, but my coworkers said that its one of the best place to stay."

"It also has free WiFi," Lucifer added as he searched the place in Googel(not typo) with his phone, "Its located in Downtown Zawarashi, which offers plenty of shops and restaurants, and is in walking distance to historical Gion, making it the best place to stay in Kyoto."

"Its decided then," Alex smiled, "You go and book a room for us Hanzo, but make sure that Emi and I, have the same room, I don't want Alice to go crying over where she was going to sleep."

Alex smiled at Alice who was being carried by Emi in her arms and caressed her head, "You're going to sleep together with Mama and Papa tonight, so behave okay?"

"Un!" she smiled, "sleep together with mama and papa!"

He smirked and gave her a kiss on the forehead before looking at Emi as he raised a brow, "What's with that look? Its not the first time we slept together."

Emi blushed and looked away with a scoff. Its not like she wanted to do it, but Alice was tightly grabbing her shirt at that time so she couldn't leave.

Though for some reason, when Alex said that they are going to sleep together, she felt several glares directed at her.

She can't feel any ill will, and it only lasted for a few seconds, so she didn't know who sent her those glares, so she did not think too much about it.

Though she became cautious just because she was worried that the Sariel incident might happen again.

"Ah!" Sagiri suddenly exclaimed as she lightly slammed her fist to her palm, "Now I remember."

Everyone turned to look at her. Sagiri looked around to check if there are any other person nearby and nodded when she couldn't detect any.

"Ihinari Hotel, if I remember correctly is a hotel governed by Iyarani Clan, they are a clan who worshipped the Goddess Inari, and are very successful in business."

Rika paused, "Goddess Inari? Wait, Gods are real?!" She wasn't really that religious type of people even though she sometimes go to shrines and pray from time to time, so hearing that they might be possibly real is just....

It was Nonko who answered her, "They are, though they aren't really strong power wise, they are just below the Hexagram. But due to their status, they are the most respected in the supernatural side. After all, they are literally the one who runs this country. If something happened to them, Japan might disappear."

Alex actually looked surprised by that, he didn't remember any Gods from Bleach and Yuragi....?

'No, that's wrong. Dragon God and Cat Gods are a thing in Yuragi, and the Yatahagane are said to train their Spirit Powers to allow them to beat Gods. Yuragi-sou probably wasn't fully explored in the orginal.'

Alex couldn't help but groan in annoyance. The world is a bit messed up in his opinion.

The Yuragi wasn't fully explored in the original, Alex remembered that in the potential futures, it showed that there are also a lot of Transcendental Youkais overseas, and not to mention the Youkais who came from another planet that tried to invade Earth.

As for Hataraku, well, he didn't know much about it since he only read the Manga, and as for Bleach he only watched the Anime and didn't read the Manga.

"Wait," Albert began as everyone turned to look at him, "Isn't staying on an Inn from the Supernatural Side kind of a bit bad? What if we got involve in the war?"

"Indeed," Ashiya nodded, "My liege has planned for this trip to relax, and not to go to war."

Everyone nodded, but Sagiri denied their claim, "That's impossible. Iyarani Clan is blessed by Goddess Inari herself, no one will dare to cause trouble there just with that fact alone. Goddess Inari is respected even amongst the Gods."

Nonko nodded, "Right now, the safest place should actually be that Hotel. Even the Hexagram cannot just casually provoke a clan blessed by a High Ranking Gods without any reason. That's just how much the Gods and Goddesses are respected."

"Is that reason why Iyarani clan are very successful in business?" Suzuno raised a hand and asked, "I have read a lot about Japanese history, legends, myths, and folklore. I remember that Goddess Inari is the is the Japanese kami of foxes, fertility, rice, tea and sake, of agriculture and industry, of general prosperity and worldly success."

"And also the patron of swordsmith and merchants," Nonko added with a smile, "You could say that, though Iyarani clan are just average when it comes to power, they are perhaps one of the wealthiest."

"Ah enough talk," Alex complained, "Let's just go already. Hanzo, have you booked a room yet?"

Lucifer shook his head, "There's no available room dude, the place is full. We should probably go find some other place to stay."

Thw others released a dissatisfied groan. If what Nonko and Sagiri said are true, then no one will bother them if they are inside the hotel even though there was currently a war going on.

"No worries," Sagiri spoke up, "I think I could give us a room there, I remember that a Chuuma Ninja who was once my captain married the fourth son of the current head of Iyarani clan, I could ask a favor to let us stay there."

Thw others sent her a grateful look.

Alex quickly turned towards her with a smile, "Sagiri, did I mention how much I really like you?"

She blushed and looked away, "I-Idiot! D-Don't say such t-things i-in front of your l-lover!"

Alex just raised an eyebrow, since when did he got a lover? He suddenly turned behind him and saw Emi and Alice just looking at him.

'Right, I forgot about that. No one knows that Emi really isn't my lover....eh, whatever, I won't bother correcting them, I enjoyed looking at her face every time someone mentioned this.'

No one noticed this except Rika and Hisui, even though Emi act like nothing happened and still look normal, they noticed her left foot tapping on the ground repeatedly.

This action of hers is done unconsciously when she was feeling annoyed or irritated about something that even she herself doesn't know.

Unnoticed by everyone except Lucifer and Ashiya, the girls smirked for a moment before it quickly disappeared.

Sagiri took out her phone and began to make a call.

The others just silently stood at the side waiting for her. After a few minutes, Sagiri ended the call and pocketed her phone as she gave a smile.

"Alright, they already gave an ok, the manager of the hotel will be waiting for us there and lead us to our room."

"R-Really Sagiri-san?!" Yuuna smiled, "T-That's great! T-Thank you very much!"

Sagiri just smiled at her.

"Damn, I feel like a VIP." Albert grinned.

Alex rolled his eyes as he began to walk. He already knew where the hotel was located, so there was no need for maps, or GPS and the like.

The others just followed behind him.

"Oh, by the way Sagiri-chan, how many rooms did they give us?" Nonko asked. "There's 12 of us not counting Alice-chan right? Me, You, Alex-chan, Emi-chan, Suzuno-chan, Albert-chan, Hisui-chan, Hanzo-chan, Rika-chan, Ashiya-chan, Yaya-chan, and Yuuna-chan."

"There's four rooms," Sagiri answered, "since Alexander and Emi will sleep together with Alice, they can have one. Us girls will get two, and the boys will get one."

"Hmm, well its decided then." Alex smiled.

Lucifer groaned, "Can't I have my own room?" Ashiya would probably nag at him like a mother, and Albert, base on Hisui's description of him, would probably be loud and snores like a Banshee.

Emi just scoffed at him, "Please have some shame, Sagiri is already kind enough to let us sleep there, and now you're asking your own room?"

"That's right Hanzo," Alex smirked, "I know you're shameless since you keep asking me to let you use my computers and the like, but this is just a whole new level. They have already been kind enough to give us room despite the place being full, but now you're asking for a room of your own? I am ashamed of your behavior."

"Indeed, don't be shameless Hanzo."

"Hn, Yaya disapproves."

"Alright!" Lucifer raised his hands in surrender, "Alright, I'm sorry. So can you guys please stop? I am not that shameless you know? Seriously."

The others just laughed at him as he just grumbled while playing with his phone.

The group talked and laughed on the way to the hotel. Most of the time they were making fun of Hanzo, who couldn't argue back because what they said were all facts.

But so what right? Being a NEET is much better than staying in Heaven and just stare at the clouds for all eternity.

The group also talked about what they are going to do after they settled down. The place to visit, and the best sights to go first.

Time passed as the group just laughed and talk until they finally arrived at the hotel.

"Oh, we're finally here," Alex grinned as the rest just smiled, looking at the rather large hotel in front of them, "The Ihirani Hotel."
