She asked, lifting her head off his leg and taking a drink from her glass. "You're letting me decide?" He smirked, putting his drink on the side table and leaning forward. "I didn't say I'd agree." She rolled her eyes before turning and leaning her back against his legs, placing her own glass on the ground next to her. Lucifer leaned back against the couch and stretched his arms across the back of it, "I was just going to suggest you make right on our deal from earlier." He proposed. "Ahh." She answered, tilting her head back so she could see Lucifer's face, which held an amused look and a genuine smile, "You really think you held up your end, huh?" She asked with her own smirk, once again letting her head rest on his legs as she looked straight up at the star-speckled sky. She was a wee bit tipsy, and maybe that had something to do with how she was feeling, but it really was a beautiful night. With the warmth of the little balcony playing alongside the moment of sharing their deepest pains with one another, She found herself not only feeling closer but also quite comfortable with her Devil. "Undoubtedly." He replied to her question, and she raised a brow, "Admittedly, there was a hiccup or two, but nothing that ruined the evening." He defended, "Plus, I resolved them, did I not?" "A hiccup?" She scoffed, looking as far up as her eyes would allow so she could see him, "Someone tried to kill me, Luce." Lucifer placed a hand on each cheek and leaned over her so that he stared directly into her eyes. Pools of blue looking down and sparkling emeralds looking up, "Tried." He said in almost a whisper. She felt his warm breath on her forehead while his hair tickled her face, "Didn't I protect you? Kept you safe?" "I suppose," She agreed, blushing as he shifted forward a bit more so that his lips were now just an inch or so above hers. "Then may I please have what you promised me?" Lucifer asked again. She swallowed and gave a slight nod.

Baby Girl “Oh, This Demon Of Mine."

Katherine Ann rolled her eyes as Lucifer threw open the passenger door, stepped out, and slammed it shut before she could even kill the ignition. She watched him as he stretched his neck to each side. Her eyes traveled down his body, and she was annoyed by the ping of desire she still felt for him despite his behavior during the drive. Aggravated and frustrated that the day had barely begun and she was already over it, Kathrine Ann pulled on the door handle and tried to shove it open, only for the door to stop abruptly,

"Stay put, Princess," Thron ordered and slammed the door closed.

"You have to be kidding me!" She pouted, throwing herself back in her seat and crossing her arms while her eyes followed the guard.

Curiosity took over as she watched Thron approach her husband and grab his shoulder. The short exchange seemed to bring out a multitude of emotions from her Demon Prince until he seemed to settle on seething anger. Lucifer crossed in front of the car, fury flashing in his crimson eyes, but their focus wasn't on her. Kathrine Ann turned her head to follow the death glare and, not surprisingly, found the source was Milril, who was only a few feet from the car door staring back at Lucifer with a wide grin.

"Fuck off, Milril." She heard through the door before he swung it open, and his eyes turned on her, "Come on." He grumbled, holding out his hand.

Kathrine Ann looked at his hand before raising a brow, "Ha!" She pushed it away and got out of the car, "I'd rather walk alone than with someone who doesn't respect me." She added and stepped past him.

"My Lady, if you would like a proper escort—" Milril called.

"I swear on my grandfather, I will kill you, Milril!" Lucifer warned, causing Kathrine Ann to look back at her furious husband and then to a grinning Milril, who pulled three cards out of his pocket and fanned them out for Lucifer to see.

"I doubt that LouLou," He laughed and winked at her, "It's not in the cards."

"What the fuck did you just call me!" Lucifer growled, taking a step toward the half-demon, but Kathrine Ann grabbed his hand, "Call me that again, and next time you make a bullshit reading, you'll be pulling those cards out your ass."

"Stop it, Lucifer," She groaned, pulling his arm with no success,

"Milril! Let's go." Thron ordered as he and Viskiam walked towards the entrance, "You're not here to annoy the Young Prince."

"Asshole." Lucifer hissed as Milril gave him a flirty little finger wiggle wave before jogging to catch up with the others.

"Takes one to know one." Kathrine Ann laughed as Lucifer turned to face her with a pointed glare, "What? You going to deny you're an asshole?"

"You like him, don't you?" he accused as he slipped on the jacket he had been holding.

"He's just a friend." She explained, looking him over and shaking her head. Kathrine Ann hadn't noticed his disheveled appearance till now. He wore a grey, slightly wrinkled T-shirt and black pants. There was nothing terrible about his choice of clothing, per se, but she knew Luce would have never left their room looking so plain and unkempt. It wasn't just the clothing choice, his wavy black hair was unbrushed and falling in his eyes, and the black suit jacket he just pulled on now sat askew on his shoulders, "Come here. Let me just fix this." She mumbled, stepping close to him and grabbing the jacket's lapels.

"Just a friend?" He scoffed as she began pulling and adjusting the garment. "Yeah, right."

"Yes, just a friend." She stated again, rolling her eyes as he unsuccessfully tried to squirm out of her grasp. She pulled him back and ran her hands over his shoulders, straightening them out before continuing down the torso, flattening the fabric in front. "And even if I did like him, why do you care, Lucifer?"

"I don't." He sneered as her nimble fingers moved up from the jacket to his hair, where she ran her fingers through the tangled locks, "Ouch!" He hissed as her fingers snagged on a knot. She mouthed a quick apology but continued to tame the black mess, "But you are my wife, so,"

"Well, look at that! My Demon Prince is jealous and wants to claim me as his own." She dramatically gasped as she tucked a few stray strands behind his ears while a bright smile stretched across her face.

"If you want me to claim you, that's not a problem, little Wife." He warned as she stepped back and looked him over.

"Yeah, yeah," she mumbled as he moved to button the jacket. "Leave it unbuttoned, but tuck it in the front of your shirt," she ordered.

Surprisingly, he listened, but not without some grumbling. "There, am I presentable enough now to escort you, Princess?" He huffed, held his hands up, and bent into a mocking bow.

"Presentable, I suppose but escorting, no," Kathrine Ann replied, flashing him a narrowed glare, "I told you I don't want to walk with someone who doesn't respect me."

"I never said I didn't respect you." Lucifer rolled his eyes.

"Actions speak louder than words, Lucifer." She retorted.

"Then pay closer attention." He replied, "You think I would let just anyone assault me the way you just did?"

"Assult?" She raised a brow.

"This may come as a shock, but I don't like being touched." He revealed.

There was a moment of silence as the two stared at one another while the clicking of cameras and growing hum of whispers surrounded them, "Come on, Romeo, we're drawing a crowd." Kathrine Ann finally stated.

"Who's Romeo?" He asked as she grabbed his hand and pulled him to her side.

"Uhh, you know what, not important." She assured, "Now, put your arm around my waist, like so," She instructed, placing his hand high on her waist. "If you're going to escort me, we're not holding hands like little children or preteens in puppy love, so—Ahh!" She squeaked as Lucifer unexpectedly pulled her into him so that there was no space between their bodies, "Holding me pretty close for someone who doesn't like being touched. Kinda seems like you've done this before." She accused.

"I don't have to like something to know how to do it." He rolled his eyes and slid his hand down Kathrine Ann's waist until it sat just above her hip, causing her cheeks to ignite. "Though the smell of your embarrassment almost makes it worth it."

"So you can hold a woman, you just can't charm them?" She recovered, sliding his hand back up to her natural waist.

"Truth is, I've never tried." Lucifer confessed, starting to walk and pulling her along with him, "Tell you what, little Wife, when I find a woman worth charming, I'll let you know how it goes." He taunted, sliding his hand back down.

Kathrine Ann jabbed her Prince in the side and glared up at him only to catch him smirking and staring straight ahead, obviously pleased with himself.

"Jerk." She huffed but was unable to hide her own smile.

There wasn't a massive crowd of people or reporters, but there were still voices calling out. Even if Katherine Ann wanted to reply, Lucifer hurried her along so quickly that she couldn't. As they approached the entrance to the hospital, Thron, Viskiam, and Milril, who waited just outside the sliding doors, bowed their heads as she was led inside.

"I don't remember requesting an entourage," Lucifer complained as the trio fell in step behind and followed them into the hospital,

"The only one here for you is Thron," Milril clapped back as they headed straight to the elevators, "And even that's debatable."

"Milril, that's enough." Kathrine Ann stepped in as she pressed the call button, "Lucifer is one irritant away from a foul mood, and I understand that keeping him in a constant state of annoyance is your goal, but I have to share a bed with him, not you."

"You heard my wife, Milril. Shut up." Lucifer sneered as the metal doors opened in front of them.
