Follow Louie and his angelic bride as they navigate their unconventional relationship and embark on adventures in this slow-burn, spicy romance. Excerpt: "What do you propose then?" She asked, lifting her head off his leg and taking a drink from her glass. "You're letting me decide?" He smirked, putting his drink on the side table and leaning forward. "I didn't say I'd agree." She rolled her eyes before turning and leaning her back against his legs, placing her own glass on the ground next to her. Lucifer leaned back against the couch and stretched his arms across the back of it, "I was just going to suggest you make right on our deal from earlier." He proposed. "Ahh." She answered, tilting her head back so she could see Lucifer's face, which held an amused look and a genuine smile, "You really think you held up your end, huh?" She asked with her own smirk, once again letting her head rest on his legs as she looked straight up at the star-speckled sky. She was a wee bit tipsy, and maybe that had something to do with how she was feeling, but it really was a beautiful night. With the warmth of the little balcony playing alongside the moment of sharing their deepest pains with one another, She found herself not only feeling closer but also quite comfortable with her Devil. "Undoubtedly." He replied to her question, and she raised a brow, "Admittedly, there was a hiccup or two, but nothing that ruined the evening." He defended, "Plus, I resolved them, did I not?" "A hiccup?" She scoffed, looking as far up as her eyes would allow so she could see him, "Someone tried to kill me, Luce." Lucifer placed a hand on each cheek and leaned over her so that he stared directly into her eyes. Pools of blue looking down and sparkling emeralds looking up, "Tried." He said in almost a whisper. She felt his warm breath on her forehead while his hair tickled her face, "Didn't I protect you? Kept you safe?" "I suppose," She agreed, blushing as he shifted forward a bit more so that his lips were now just an inch or so above hers. "Then may I please have what you promised me?" Lucifer asked again. She swallowed and gave a slight nod.

Baby Girl "Uncle-In-Law."

Kathrine Ann kneeled next to the tub in their bathroom. Lucifer's blue and red eyes fixed on the door, and his body seemingly ready to pounce as his Uncle defiantly began to open the door. Admittedly, she was very nervous, not knowing what her husband was planning or the repercussions of that plan.

When Lucifer acted, the gap was a little more than two inches. In the blink of an eye, Kathrine Ann saw something fly across the room, hitting precisely between the frame and the door. There was a loud shatter, a slam, and a growl of pain.

She gasped at the nearly invisible attack. The only clue to what had happened was the shards of ceramic scattered by the, once again, closed bathroom door. She looked down by the tub to confirm her suspicions and found the pitcher used to rinse Lucifer's hair was gone. Her brows knitted together, and she frowned. How did he do that without her catching a single movement?

"I warned you, Uncle! Try it again, I dare you!" Lucifer growled, his eyes growing more red as he moved to push himself up, but Kathrine Ann reached out, placing her hand on his arm, and looked at him with a pleading expression. What he had done was bad enough, and after seeing how quickly his father turned on him, she didn't want him to be punished,

"Please don't," she silently mouthed.

"You disgusting abomination!" the archangel snapped from the other side of the door.

Lucifer stared at her while anger burned through him. He closed his eyes, placed his hand on hers, and inhaled deeply before releasing a long sigh as Micheal ranted about punishment and disrespect. Slowly opening his eyes, the corner of his mouth turned up into a smirk,

"I'm the disgusting one?" Lucifer called loudly while Kathrine Ann let out the breath she didn't realize she was holding, "Says the old man trying to force his way into his young nephew's bathroom while he's naked in the tub."

"What! I wasn't—" Micheal stammered. "How was I supposed to know you were in the tub?"

"Well, it was either me or Kathrine Ann. Which one of us were you hoping to see, Uncle? Are you a regular run-of-the-mill pervert or an incestuous one?" Lucifer questioned while Kathrine Ann pressed her hand over her mouth to keep herself from laughing. "You know, I've heard that bullies sometimes choose their target based on unrequited feelings. That would explain why you're always so mean to me." Lucifer's anger had calmed some, and he turned his eyes back to Kathrine Ann before reaching up to play with the loose strands of hair around her face.

"I didn't think it was possible for someone to be more insufferable than your father, yet here you are."

"Awe, I think that's the nicest thing you've ever said to me," Lucifer replied, looking at her curiously. Though the red was still visible, it was Luce who was speaking and taking shots at his Uncle.

"Stay in there as long as you like. But I'm not leaving until we speak," Micheal threatened. "You know I find it pathetic even for you to go out of your way to hide from me. I hope Kathrine Ann sees what a spineless coward you are."

Lucifer growled at the cheap blow, his anger reigniting as he quickly stood up and stepped out of the tub naked and dripping wet.

"Lucifer, wait!" Kathrine Ann gasped, jumping up, "Don't. Please, stop," she begged, scrambling around the tub and getting in front of him, "You have to see that this is what he wants. To get you pissed off so you'll overreact,"

"Then he's going to get exactly what he wants," her Demon Prince growled, not looking at her.

"Listen to me, please." She begged, placing her hands on his bare chest, trying to get his attention, but his predominantly red eyes were fixated on the door, "Don't let him control you like this. Don't let anyone use you." His eyes flicked to her only for a moment. He was struggling for control over himself and losing as he stepped forward, causing her to step back. She smirked as an idea popped into her head, "Well, except for me."

Lucifer's eyes immediately snapped to her, one brow raised in surprise, and Kathrine Ann watched as his expression softened. The rage faded back again as a faint smile appeared on his lips. He gently placed his hands on her cheeks and looked at her with curiosity, just like he had done back in the tub,

"What is it? Why do you keep looking at me like that?" she asked.

Lucifer chuckled before placing a sweet kiss on her lips, "You are something, Kathrine Ann."

"Hopefully, a good something," she joked.

"Too good for either of me," he replied.

"Go shower, Luce," she instructed, stepping back. "Rinse your hair and take your time. I'll deal with Micheal."

"Not like that, you won't," he snapped as his demon came forward, looking down at her legs.

"Agreed," Lucifer nodded as Kathrin Ann looked down, confused, forgetting Lucifer was completely naked. Her eyes widened at Lucifer's very erect and very large appendage, "Pajama pants. They'll be a bit big on her, but should work."

"Even better," His demon remarked, "You're staring, Little Wife."

Her head snapped back up, and her face was now bright red. She quickly stepped past him towards the shower as the corner of his mouth pulled up into a mischievous grin,

"Don't be embarrassed, Baby Girl," he called after her, "It's the typical reaction most have the first time they see my Little Prince."

"Little?" she replied, walking into the shower, "Seems the Devil is quite blessed," she added in a mutter, but she was sure he heard her.

"No need to fret. He won't hurt you. Quite the opposite," Lucifer laughed, continuing his shameless onslaught.

"I don't know about that," she replied, "That's a lot of you for little old me."

"To be fair, this is all your fault," he said, "You made him this way, and I warned you not to start something you couldn't finish."

"Have you forgotten your uncle is right outside the door?" she reminded herself, turning on the shower and quickly hopping back before she got wet.

"Even more of a reason to speak on it," he replied louder than necessary, "When someone intrudes on another's private time, he may not like what sounds he hears."

Kathrine Ann rolled her eyes as she retrieved the pajama pants from the counter and slipped them on. As expected, they swallowed her. She rolled the waistline down as far as possible and then sat on the ground to roll the legs up. As she worked, Lucifer just watched with a half smile at the adorable scene.

"Cute," escaped his lips.

"Yes," his demon agreed.

"You know I don't remember inviting you," he snapped at his demon.

"You lowered your guard," he fussed back at himself. "I told you I want out."

"And I told you no."

"I didn't hear any protests when you were ready to break down the door to get to Micheal."

"Right, you are! You wanted a compromise. You got it. From now on, Uncle is your responsibility."

"What! That's not fair, Louie—"

The argument was interrupted by muffled giggling, and their eyes fell on Kathrine Ann, who was still sitting on the floor with one hand over her mouth to conceal her laughter.

"She's going to call us cute," Lucifer grumbled,

"Better than Loulou." he laughed.

"Okay, okay, enough," she said, getting up and adjusting the oversized pants, "Go shower."

Lucier grabbed her waist and pulled her close before placing a chaste kiss on the top of her head.

"Be careful with him, and I'll be out soon," he reassured.

"He doesn't scare me," she retorted.

"He is clever with his words,"

"And so am I," she smirked. "Go, I'll be fine," she reassured him, pushing him towards the shower before walking to the bathroom door.

Kathrine Ann exited the bathroom, closing the door before walking straight to the liquor cabinet. Though she didn't acknowledge Micheal, she did glance around to see where the archangel was and found him sitting at the table with his arms crossed over his chest and a scowl that looked out of place on his flawless angelic face,

"Where is he?" he demanded, his blue eyes following her closely.

"Since you had no issue hearing hushed whispers behind the closed bathroom door of a room you were not allowed entrance, I'm sure you can easily hear the shower in that very same bathroom. Since I am out here with you, I believe it is safe to assume Luce is in the shower," Kathrine Ann answered, not meeting the angel's glare as she approached the cabinet. She grabbed two glasses along with the decanter of whiskey.

"He better not be long."

"For once, we agree," she rolled her eyes while removing the crystal stopper.

"We wouldn't be in this situation if you had told me where he was," he retorted as she filled each glass halfway.

"We wouldn't be in this situation if you had respected my wishes and left me alone. Instead, you ignored my wishes and entered my bedroom without permission," she returned, corking the decanter and taking a glass in each hand.

"Reprecussions of your actions."

"Oh?" she laughed. "The repercussions of my actions, you say? I set very clear boundaries that you choose to ignore and cross, and now this is my fault? Seems even the holiest of men can be misogynistic pigs." she accused, facing the angel to find him taken off guard.

"I don't see how I—"

"Right, right. Of course, you don't." Kathrine Ann rolled her eyes, pushing off the cabinet. "But, since you are here, is it safe to drink?" She asked, holding up one of the glasses, "This day has been long enough. I'd rather not end up dead or in the hospital."

"And how would I know?" he snapped at the blatant accusation, "You can't seriously be accusing me of the poisoning. I wasn't even here on the other attempts."

"Different poison, different target. It seems a little coincidental that you popped up unannounced and unexpectedly the night Luce got poisoned," she shrugged.

Micheal shocked her by laughing, "If I wanted Louie dead, then you would already be a widow, my dear."

"Who said anything about wanting him dead?" she asked.

"Then I don't see a point," he replied, "Living as the abomination that he is seems far crueler than death."

Kathrine Ann rolled her eyes again as she walked towards where Micheal sat, noticing a couple of streaks and speckles of crimson running down Micheal's shirt collar,

"Looks like he got you pretty good," she observed, approaching the table.

"Nothing more than a scratch," he scoffed as she reached forward with one of the glasses, "I don't drink," he declined.

"I wasn't offering," she countered, placing the drink next to the plate of food across from him before sipping out of the glass still in her hand.

"You lied to me," he accused.

"No, I didn't," she denied.

"You knew where he was."

"Prove it," she smirked.

"I believe this situation is proof enough."

"I don't think so. Maybe I had an inkling he found his way back here, or maybe we did plan it, but even if we did, there's no guarantee he would do as he said. You know how irresponsible and unreliable Louie is. Who could possibly trust his word? Sure, we were at the hot spring together, and yes, he was his normal self, and maybe when we left the woods, I chose to walk the castle alone while he found another way in and just perhaps—"

"Enough!" Micheal snapped, "I'm tired of this game. I'm tired of him avoiding me, so get Lucifer now," he demanded, slamming a fist on the table

"It's not a fucking game, Micheal, and no, I will not. Lucifer avoided you because he didn't want to put up with your degrading, insulting, and insufferable attitude. He is worn out and tired and didn't feel he had the mental or emotional patience to deal with that tonight. But, no! That doesn't work for Daddy's number one boy, so here you are."

"I will not tolerate this disrespect," he spat.

"You know it's funny how much you like to throw that word around," Kathrine Ann chuckled, taking another pull from her glass. "Tell me, Micheal, are you familiar with the idiom 'The pot calling the kettle black?'"

"You're calling me a hypocrite," he glared at her, crossing his arms again.

"You come to his world unannounced and invade his home uninvited, then get upset because he can't meet you at your convenience. You had no right to barge into this room at this time of night and demand an audience. So, as I see it, you are the disrespectful one."

"I know it's hard for you to comprehend how important my time is—"

"Insulting my mental capacity is not going to help you," she laughed at the audacity of the being sitting in front of her, "I'm not scared nor intimidated by you, Micheal, so unless you plan on doing something evil enough to instill that in me, just shut up and wait."
