Blue Screen

I open my eyes and see darkness, I immediately think 'oh shit, did I fall asleep in the school bathroom' I pull myself up from the floor, head aching. I feel disoriented and then I notice a faint glow coming from beside me. Then I remember what I did, besides sleep in the bathroom that is, I killed a ma...., No not a man I killed something, though. I peer down and see the glow again it is a white glow coming from something on it's hand. I, for God knows what reason, choose to reach down and touch it like electricity it travels through me making me feel rejuvenated. I large blue screen suddenly pops up in front of me.

I jump in surprise and almost fall in the pool of blood. Wait, pool of blood!? I peer down at my clothes and they are all red and immediately I'm annoyed due to my bloody clothes. 'Whatever' I think and get back to the blue screen.

I play games quite often so I was easily able to tell what this was 'A Status Screen' I select the title 'first blood'

Okay, so I'm going to assume that the base stat for a adult male is 1. And as for skills how do you earn those?

Well that answers my question, so what are my health, mana, and stamina?

Okay how do I use mana then?

I glance at the corpse beside me and after a mental conflict I choose to search it. I don't find a spell book or a skill book but I find a simple dagger much better that the kitchen knife I was using. As well as 3 copper looking coins I pocketed them and grabbed the dagger. After searching a little bit more I found a sheath for my dagger. I loop it onto my belt and sheath the dagger. Remembering to ask the system for the daggers stats

I think about using my stat point but choose not to. I proceed to the restroom door and crack it open and peer out. It's pitch black, I hear some stumbling steps, though. I immediately remember the blood zombie corpse behind me. I glance back and forth and decide to attract it so maybe I can get the jump on it instead the other way around. I pull a pencil out of my pocket and throw it in the hall making a faint click. I wait as I hear the stumbling grow louder and I can tell it's growing closer. I unsheathe the dagger and prepare to lunge and stab it. I hear the footsteps stop and then hear some growls and faint sniffs. I then see her in the darkness, it was the same one as our in the parking lot! She launches herself at me and I get knocked down by her small frame. Using my superior strength, I throw her off me, and stab her with my dagger. Even with the dagger in her abdomen she lunges at me with her claws. I quickly stab her again aiming for the head, I miss and nearly get scratched. I swing again and hit her right in the temple and then felt a sickening crunch and a squish. I pull my dagger out as she falls to the floor.

Now that I think of it, it must of been my bloody clothes that gave me away. I really need to change, I should get to the locker room. I pull out my phone and then I realize the time is only 4 o'clock, so others must still be at the school. I still need to prioritize, I'll go to the locker room first before looking for others.

I walk down the hallway towards the commons and then I see the creatures in the commons. They are large dog-like creatures with a scaled spine and the face of a dragon. I can tell by the look of them, I am not their match. I turn and run when I realized they've spotted me too.
