The abduction

*I am sitting in the dining room with my entire family, eating peacefully and happily together. Only good vibes around us, singing, laughing, smiling together. My mom just got done with the other dinner food while my aunt and grandma are helping her putting it on the table. My sister is sitting on grandpa's lap, reading a book with him. My dad´s kissing my mom´s cheek and I look around the vibe with a very happy face. "Sweetheart?", my mom calls me. I turn my head to her: "Yes mom?", I ask her with a smile on my face. "You know, we love you so much, so we made a surprise for you.", my mom tells me. I look around confused- "A surprise? For me?". Grandma comes back in the dining room with a little package in her hand. "It´s a gift from all of us. Your family, my darling.", says dad. Without waiting any longer, I take the package and open it carefully. It´s a necklace in the box with a crystal pendant. I looked into the crystal and there is a little picture of me with my family in there. I love this gift so much that I start crying and running to them, hugging them so tight and much. Mom scrolls through my long black hair: "I love you so much my angel.". Looking at her with tears of happiness in my eyes I reply to her: "I love you so much t- ". Suddenly everything trembles. The table is shaking a lot, the glasses break, the food is falling off the dining table. As I look around and look back to my family, they suddenly turn into stones and break. "Mom? Dad?", I look around very shocked and confused as I suddenly catch my aunt, my sister and grandparents also turn into stone- people and break one behind the other. "W-What is- What is happening here!?". I try to hold my mom´s hand as she suddenly slowly disappears from me. "No- NO! Mom! Don´t go! Please!". *

I wake up screaming in a clinic bed. My arm, my neck and my forehead are covered with bandages and in the other arm I have an injection. The clinic room looks very modern. A lot of technology stuff and computers. There is only one round window where I can look out, watching the galaxy as the view.

[Computer]: "… *scans* … *calculating* … person … is unstable but positive … heartbeat … *calculating* … normal … temperature is normal … bzzz … blood pressure zzzz …is low … bzzz …

While the computer is scanning my entire body and does some checkups, I just lay quietly on the bed, looking at the roof without making any moves. Since I have a bandage over one eye and my neck still hurts, I can barely even move a muscle. As the doctor and the nurse walk in my room…

"Oh, you woke up.", says the doctor while clicking some stuff on the machine and the nurse checking the computer that scans me. My throat is so dry… so I can´t really get any sound out of me. "What… what happened…", this is what I could just barely say. The doc takes off his glasses and explains to me: "We flew near a black hole; the captains were trying to control the spaceship away from it. So, the alarms started, and everyone had to get back to their home base position, so nobody won´t get hurt. But your grandpa, who luckily saved you from a bad situation, brought you here with the assistance of your aunt. You were about to get sucked out of the spaceship, and you could have died getting freezed to death outside of the spaceship. The glass was about to completely break, but fortunately your grandpa caught you just in the nick of time. They closed the gate of the sector where you nearly got sucked out, so they can now fix it and keep everyone safe.". I feel so dizzy while listening to the doctor. He notices it and gives me a cup of water. I drink it carefully, while the nurse helps me to sit up. After then, my friend Xenia just walks in. "Hey… how are you feeling? I heard about it from your aunt, what happened.", says Xenia and sits beside me on the bed as the doc and the nurse walk out of the room. I tell her that my head and the rest of my body extremely hurts and that I most likely can´t even walk for now. She looks around at me and sees that I got wrapped in many bandages. Literally, most of my body parts are covered in it. "I had a dream while I fainted…", I start telling her. She listens carefully. As soon as I started telling my eyes get wet and watery: "My- my entire family… they all disappeared in front of me.". Xenia takes and holds my hand while she gives me a hug.

[After a while]

I fell asleep on Xenias shoulder, and it was getting late, so Xenia had to leave soon. She quietly closes the glass door of my clinic room. There was almost nobody at the clinic because it was so late so everyone left early because they all had to make sure if their family and people are okay after what happened today. There was only an old woman who was sitting there with the computers and who has a night shift today, to take care of the clinic and patients. When Xenia was about to leave, a tall shadow grabs her and covered her mouth and nose with a tissue to make her faint. She tries to dodge and tries to kick the unknown stranger with her legs, but this person was way stronger than her, so she fails and faints down to floor. Everything what she could recognize was a tall shadow of somebody who looked very male.

[Next day]

I slowly wake up because the doctor just turned on the light at me. I can´t see clearly, but I could feel that my aunt was beside me, holding my hand tight. The doc and the 2 other nurses were doing some checkups and tests on me to make sure If I can get back home or If I need to stay longer at the clinic.

"She is stable and good enough to get back home. Tomorrow she can leave.", says the doc. My grandpa and my aunt are very relieved. My grandma is at the home base with my little sister. She must take care of her. Aleyna wanted to come and see me too, but they all said that it´s better for her not to see me like that. My grandpa had to leave because he still has work to do, and he must help with the broken glass at the gate. My aunt stays with me for the rest of the day. She says that because she does not want me to get bored and that I, at least have somebody to talk to. Even though I hate talking to people, I still appreciate that she is by my side. "Did Xenia visit you?", she asks me. "Yeah, she came over yesterday. I guess she left when I fell asleep, I was exhausted.", I tell her. My aunt Susi nods with her head. "Is there something you need to tell me?", I look at her questioned. She sighs and thinks about something that she could explain to me without getting me upset. My eyes get wide open: "H-Huh …?". She explains to me that my best friend Xenia did not get back home last night, and she did not even call her parents or anything. Nobody knows where she is. "Wait, wait, wait… what?! But she was with me last night, she can´t just disappear like that!", I tell my aunt. The police station was trying to scan her everywhere, but she was not found in any of the spaceships. Silence reigned in the room. I look out of the window at the galaxy, wondering where she could be. She can´t leave like that. Where could she be? My aunt kisses my forehead and tells me that she must leave now. Grandma needs some help and she will come over tomorrow again to pick me up with grandpa.

It´s in the middle of the night and I am the only one at the clinic who is awake still. I contacted my other friends from the other spaceships and were asking them if Xenia came over somewhere or if they saw her somewhere. They said they heard it too that Xenia is gone but they did not see her anywhere. Xenia is an active woman, and she knows how to joke and prank around, but she would not be that stupid to do a prank by jumping out of the spaceship and freezing to death. No, no, no. She would not do that! The thoughts in my head didn´t let me go and didn´t let me sleep either. So, I decided to get up and look for her alone. No, I´m not tired of life, but yes, I am tired of life. I´m going to look for her with an almost broken arm with a bandage around it, around my leg, around my neck and around my head. Is this stupid or is this brave????? I don´t know it just yet…

I slowly sneak out of the clinic room; the old woman just fell asleep on her seat. The cameras are on, but she is asleep anyways so who cares. I have no shoes on and I´m wearing a clinic dress. My hair is open, I look like the girl from the horror movie the grudge, but who cares. I´m not here to scare anyone. I should still dress myself appropriate. There is an own station where people put their old clothes which they don´t wear or use anymore in boxes. I think I should go there and try to find something suitable for me before I go and look for Xenia. I swear, Xenia if that´s a bad prank, I´ll kill you.
