Chapter 19

After travelling for nearly 6 months Robin finally discovered an island with humans on it. During her travels she mostly hunted sea kings to feed her partner, Squirt, the lion turtle cub.

The lion turtle cub was 15 meters long and 10 meters wide, while her shell was 8 meters thick, but of these 8 meters, 3 meters was occupied by Squirt's body while the rest 5 meters above its body was empty space that Robin and her future crew could use. Robin first built her captain's room right above Squirt's heart, she used her solid manipulation power to shape the hardest metal she had found during her travel. She had then reinforced the floor of the room multiple times just to protect Squirt's heart, she had then proceeded to make 20 rooms in side the shell. She really wanted to get a human habitat as soon as possible so that she could decorate her room and buy books to fill the largest room of the 20.

She also wanted to know what had happened in the past 5 years and hopefully visit Ohara once again, as she wanted the scholars and her mother to at least have a headstone.

Soon after she arrived on the shores of the island, she then instructed Squirt to stay under water and only come out on her signal. She had memorized the characteristics of the sound energy used by the adult Lion Turtle to call out Squirt, and would be using it to signal to Squirt.

Robin soon reached what seemed to be a town, town was some what small but was busy as people were going about doing their business. The most prominent feature of the town was that it was filled with a lot of picture of the same Man, Robin recognized these pictures as wanted posters. These were the wanted posters for a person named "Red Haired" Shanks, they had bounties from 300 million bellies to upto 5 billion bellies.

She then entered the busiest building in the town, a bar. The bar had a very boisterous atmosphere, people were singing while drinking and few were having some sort of friendly spar everyone lost in their own world and noone noticed Robin enter. Robin soon walked to the counter where the bartender was busy chatting with other customers. He finally noticed Robin when she sat on the stool. He then walked up to her and asked " You dont look like you are from around here , are you lost kid ?"

" Yes sir, I was travelling the seas with my relatives when a storm struck and sank the ship we were travelling in, I had fainted during the ordeal and when I woke up I was on the shore, from there I just followed the footprints to the town. So sir could you kindly tell me where I am ?" lied Robin. Due to fighting constantly with the sea kings Robin's clothes were in tatters which sold her lie, and also due to all the enhancement her body had received she grew taller, now was 1.4m tall compared to just 80cm when she was 8, hence she also needed to buy new clothers

" Its sad to hear your story, but its lucky that you survived, as long as you are alive you can always find the whereabouts of your relatively, anyways this the birth place of the Yonko Shanks, now called "Home of the king" island, in West Blue. Here drink up this glass of juice and recuperate for a while, I shall close the bar in short while and buy you some clothes, then we can go to the near by marine base so that they help you find your relatives."

Robin just took the juice given and just nodded , indicating she agreed to the bar tender's suggestion. Robin was quite happy on finding that she was still in west blue, now all she needed was the map of west blue, so that she can reach Ohara. She would definitely "borrow" the map from Marines, when she will visit the base. She also wanted to find out more about Ice man and Lava Man, and the base they are located in.

Soon after buying and changing into new clothes, Robin and the bar tender went to the marine base located at the other end of Island. The bar tender told that this base had been initially setup to capture Shanks if he came back, but since he became a Yonko all the marines in the branch could do was inform their superiors, if Shanks visited his home.

Upon entering the marine base Robin noticed the notice board where bounty posters were posted, what surprised her was there was a bounty, of 79 million bellies, on her head too. The picture that was on the poster was the from the time when Saul was running while carrying her. Luckily the photo was of some what poor quality so it was quite hard to recognize her especially now that she had grown up quite a bit.

While Robin was checking out her bounty poster, the bar tender had met a guard her knew and already told their purpose of visit and the poor little girl's sob story. The marine then lead them to his superior , the one with most authority on the base. The superior was a captain, after hearing the story of the little girl he asked Robin a few questions like who she was ? Her name, birth town , her destination etc. Robin just said she couldnt recollect anything except a few bits and pieces from the storm.

The captain told he would try his best to help but since there was very little and vague information, it would take a long time and if she remembered anything she should come back to the base to report.

Luckily for Robin the captain's room had a map of west blue on display and she memorized it quickly.

While returning back to village Robin had told the bartender to go ahead as she wanted some alone time, bartender after showing her the the direction of the village he left. After she separated from the bartender she quickly went to the shore , summoned Squirt and was on her way to Ohara.
