team Kazuma: a holy ruckus part 2

Kazuma looked around counting the amount of people with collars"hm about 30 and I have a feeling this isn't even considering the ones in the houses" Kazuma noted 'the people who just ran away are definitely going to alert the guards which means I'm going to have to rely on Kira as a distraction'. "alright we don't have much of a window to do this so Kaiya I'm going to need you to hold my hand along with all of you if you wanna leave completely free from servitude and I'll need a distraction which will have to be you Kira" he ordered Kira who looked dead into his eyes which a bead of sweat go down his face.

"no" she said before picking the beaten nun up by the back of her robe "at least not without a meat shield amateur".

Kazuma sighed before grabbing Kaiya's hand and looked at the other demons who till looked incredibly sceptical "what? you think I'm joking ever heard of you only get one chance".

one of the older Demons got up and walked towards him he had silver horns on his head and chin and was noticably taller he walked until they were face to face before saying "sure kid I heard of it but I'm not gonna be get my hopes up cause some young upstart claims he can fix the situation your not the first".

"I bet I'm not however If you were to have looked before saying anything old man" Kazuma looked back at him with cold eyes "this isn't a game I'm playing".

the old man stepped back in fear a bit before he gave a slight smile "alright I guess you are different everyone do as he says" he ordered before grabbing his hand the others got up and held hands as well much to Kaiya's disbelief.

"how did you convince that old guy?" she whispered to Kazuma.

"well let's just say I always had a special ability to command what I need from others your friend has something special too" he said leaving things vague "also the only way to accomplish this is if you feel a little pain" he explained before one of his fingers stabbed in her palm cause her to wince as blood flowed a hole opened in his finger to suck it in. He shut his eyes as he was focusing on guiding and manipulating her blood.

~meanwhile~

Kira was confronted with 7 holy warriors that had blades that had a glow that outshined the daylight.

"hey it wouldn't be a good idea good guys tend to care about they're comrades right? step up further and she'll be drowning in her own blood and I wonder how many of you can stomach that" she said gripping the broken woman's neck with a sick smile on her face.

"dammit we can't lose another priestess we just lost our last one a year ago and you know what'll happen if they get called over"

"obviously we can't become another example like those guys in Bellows Edge"

"yeah we can't get destroyed like them plus we're richer they might think more before killing us right"

"yeah your right we're st-"

before they could say more they heard the sound of a blade cutting through flesh then the sick gargling sounds as they looked in horror as they're Priestess died and in Kira's hand was covered in blood pieces of ripped lungs in her nails her eyes glowing with hate.

"you all should've kept your mouths shut about my my town I may be unable to be devastated by the event I'm very much pissed off since we're being disrespectful I'll show you what it looks like!" she yelled picking up the woman's head and in barbaric fashion she blitzed and forced her in one of they're mouths shoving them to the ground before stomping through the head with a sickening crunch as she pulled her foot out from the other side of his head that had a hole at the back.

"togashi we gotta fall back I'm not sure we got this"

"relax relax there's no way she'd be able to continue pulling that follow my lead"

the remaining five guys rushed at Kira top speed from all her sides going for straight stabbings but she jumped up last second flipping behind one of them as she was about to try and tear through his throat he turned around and stabbed her through her hand.

"stupid confidence you demons never learn" the man said cockily.

His comrades went to stab her again the blade in her hand making it numb unable to feel a thing but just as they were about to connect they're attacks the 4 that went to capitalize had they're heads completely sliced off which made the last guy pull out the blade in shock before being kicked into the side of a building definitely breaking something as Kazuma landed on his feet before falling to his knees.

"I'm sorry..about..that the process took a lot of focus it's the second time I did that on so many people but it's all worth it"

Kazuma was lifted by Kaiya holding his left shoulder while slowly pulled out the sword as her hand was smoking giving her a scar as she clenched her fist.

"yeah thanks for showing up but I think it's time we burn down this town for good it'll be a nice message to those 'heroic' leaders"

she walked and lifted his right shoulder and looked him in the eyes.

"or we could just leave and come back later if you're so exhausted it's not shameful to back out of a bad position"

Before he could reply he was touched on the shoulder as his body was illuminated in a crystal green glow feeling his stamina restored he looked back seeing a man with golden eyes and messy brown hair wearing the same sorry clothes as the rest of the now free demons.

"no offense but this could be our only opportunity yah know so can't have you tapping out leader"

hearing himself being called that gave him a surge of confidence as he stood on his own holding his weapon he smiled with a group of 30 people behind him and Kaiya and Kira by his side he couldn't help but feel like it.

"Alright everyone who's in the mood for revenge let's go and satisfy it and burn this place to the ground!"
