Hunted

"You had time to call the police. Why didn't you? You had time to stop the bleeding, you had time to save that child's life? But instead, you run away like some sort of coward! Some bastard, scared of his own shadow.....You've made me come here tonight, you made me come here, seeking you out, Mr. Garth, why did you make me come here? You could've done better..'' Mr.Garth stared into the black helmet of his mysterious attacker. The mysterious attacker, who'd been running around the city as if he was some sort of superhero? His pale, old light colored eyes, softened, as his face bled with pain, and sadness. His daughter's lifeless face buried behind the pair of glasses he was wearing. Only before they had been knocked off his face, landing to the ground beneath him, bits and pieces of shards, left to rotten along the payment, as his own blood, bled its self into a small pool, just below his legs. He was crunched up, so slightly, knelt down, with his head aimed up at the direction of the masked white hero, who'd come to take his life. He knew what he'd done wrong, he knew why he was there. But even through everything that had happened, everything he was the cause of, he didn't think he deserved what was about to become his reality. He was scared, as he could only see the reflection of his own terrified expression, past the dark black covering, that kept the man's identity a secret. His helmet matched the rest of his suit, a pearly white color, with a raven black wiser, accompanied by the bottoms, which contained a small pair of black bottoms, lined with black and white heeled shoes. His helmet contained tiny horn like objects, and from the looks of them, they sat comfortably on the top of his head. Everyone knew his name, everyone knew of him. If he visited you, you weren't to be pleased, nor happy. For his visit, most always mean't you were doomed to die. He'd been a superhero, created with one simple, single purpose. Kill those who perform darkness. Even the light from shinning out, keep the light from dying out. Only through the eyes of the people, he was the one bringing the light to its knees. His costume held the light, trapping it inside the seems of his very costume. The color seem being that of a white, tiny pearl. As for everything else, there wasn't any.

And as Mr. Garth continued to stare at his terrified expression, in the man's black visor he came to the regularization. The realization that he'd be offered something better surely. Surely, the man in front of him, didn't know the whole story, didn't know he was innocent, only doomed to be seen as guilty since the man surely only wanted to believe what he wished. Would he believe him otherwise? He was sure, not, most men who saw their ends, had been proven innocent in the end. Glow was no superhero to no one, no ray of hope, no giver of peace. He was a menace, truly deserving of the name he bared, and the blood he spilled, most nights.

"Do you think he crashed the car on purpose?"

''I-I-I don't understand? Why are you asking me such a thing?'' Garth asked him, his voice was weak when it came out, as it was, the exact moment his last remaining breath of air, left the earthly dark world.

''The man on the news last night? The one who crashed his car, taking the lives of a single mother, and her young child? Do you think he crashed it on purpose? I still haven't figured that out? Maybe, what he said was indeed the truth? Maybe I shouldn't have been so hasty!'' Before the man could cry out for help, Glow had already ripped out his heart. The heart only beated a few remaining seconds, after it left the body. Although, for Glow he was still not finished. He'd never be satisfied, not till the day came, when the hunted, could be finally captured. Taken in and killed. Although for his goal to be achieved, he'd first have to locate the stupid bastard.

The bastard who kept escaping him.

The bastard with the black mane and tail, the gold eyed monster, how he was eager to watch the fool's heart finally be crushed into many pieces. Glow had only one purpose, and one purpose simply remaining. If he wanted to return to his home, more blood needed to be spilled, more hearts demanded to be ripped from the host body. He had to find the black stallion. The colt who called himself a Raven, thinking he was even worthy of the name, made his mouth all sore, and his lungs to work overtime, from the anger spilling out from inside him.

Glow needed justice.

Justice for the maiden he'd lost...

To the Black Stallion.

The one who'd taken his name, ate his food, took his life, stole every bit of land, and his power. The fool deserved murder, no one would tell him otherwise. For he knew the truth, his bastard brother, would die. Surely by his hand, or not at all.
