Chapter Eight: Power of the kings

Somewhere in the forest. Matteo is trying to find his way back to Orion and the others. A girl watched as Matteo walked around aimlessly.

Their king already dealt with Chase. Chase was being too careless against their king. My and everyone else's decks are looking for other decks that are not in the alliance. While the kings deal with this deck. I have doubts about anyone in this deck can stand a chance against kings. This poor fool especially because he has two kings following him waiting for the perfect chance to strike. The girl thought, looking at the guy in another tree following Matteo.

Matteo was looking around to find the way he came from. Matteo stepped on a twig. Matteo looked down seeing what he stepped on. The two people following Matteo saw the opening and lunged at Matteo. Mid-air as they were preparing to kill Matteo. A wall of golden-red fire erupted suddenly blocking the two from attack Matteo. Matteo stood up smiling.

"You think I didn't know you were following me. Are you that full of yourself? You think because you guys are kings I can't win against. Will you have severely mistaken me for a weakling." Matteo said walking through the fire. "I could hear what you were saying telepathically to each other. You need more control you retard. And, for your information, everyone on our team fought for eight-day deciding who was going to be king. The only reason that idiot won was that he was the only one who had enough spiritual energy to still fight after everyone else was out of energy. So everyone in this deck can hold their own against a king." Matteo said smiling as golden-red fire erupted from his hand.

The two finally realize why they were targeting this deck together. " You telling me that you are just as strong as your king. Stop lying. You are a knight you can't go against someone like me with blue color and a 5 hardness score on the rock test which is an above-average score." The man said stepping back as he was trembling with fear.

" Are you keeping me you are a king. You are weaker than Robby and his weakest piece." Matteo said throwing the flame at them. A huge beam of fire came from Matteo's hand.

Crap, I didn't think that there be a deck of kings in this year roster. The girl thought as she ran away.

The boy was burned to ashes as the beam of fire disappeared. "I guess the girl getaway old well. I don't care that much. I need to regroup with the other and tell them what I found.

Somewhere else in the forest. Kate was running as balls of spiritual energy followed her.

She went right trying to lose them but still, they followed her. A man was following shortly behind the balls. Kate saw that she was going straight towards a tree so, she jumped grabbing the tree as she climbed it. Some of the balls hit the tree destroying chucks of the wood.

Crap, need to find a way to get on the offensive. I can't keep running forever. I can't believe my first time participating in a tournament. I can't even explore the stadium. She thought jumped to another tree. She closed her eyes concentrating as two circles drawing with symbols on her hands glow. A ball was a foot away from her face as it shattered with a bang. Two white P210 was in her hands. Her eyes glow as she started firing bullet after bullet at each ball.

So she a gunslinger, I thought they stay in the mountains. The man thought as he created more spiritual balls throwing them at her. She continued firing at the endless amount of balls. Then she stopped as she throws the guns away as the guns disintegrate. The circles on her hands glow again summoning a single white magnum revolver. She closed her eyes. " Fuya no shi!!!" She said as she fired the gun. A huge beam of energy came from the gun destroying all the balls. " Now let's fight without this stupid hiding." She said as she summoned back the two p210.

" So you have an ark. I heard those things use a lot of spiritual energy." The man said appearing in front of Kate on a different tree.

" Well, if you know how to use one it shouldn't be that hard," Kate said aiming at the man.

They seem to be in a standoff waiting for a second to attack. Then the man twitched his hand and then bang. Kate shot him in the head. Blood splattered on to the tree.

In the stadium.

" This is a shocking revelation. Two elimination in an hour. Both two kings defeated by knight and bishop. Who knew that we had a deck of kings in our mix." The announcer announced everyone in the audience and the contestants. The audience started to cheer.

Somewhere in the forest. Biru is sitting down on a dead tree with a deck often.

" So what do you think of my proposal?" Biru said smiling.

" So what you are telling me that you can help us awaken powers." A short boy said to Biru.

"Yeah basically so what you say," Biru said.

Somewhere else in the forest.

Ann is zapping around barley dodging a bolt of lightning. Ann seems to be low on energy.
