Remnant? Where Have I Heard That Before?

After the new panel showed up I was surprised to see the words on it. World Travel? I just did that not too long ago though? After a couple seconds passed it disappeared and I heard the entity ,sigh? After a minute passed a new screen showed up. It was the same as the previous one and it seemed small and more detailed.

From what I can see ,something appeared that is not supposed to appear and now I have to kill it. If I can't do it in a year then I die. That's the simpler way of saying it. Well after basically being sentenced on a bounty mission by some Council or I die ,I felt a tiny bit nauseous and I felt myself being launched in a direction. Before I fully go into motion ,I notice the world around looks grey and everything stopped moving. After a second I start getting dragged through the air towards some sort of rift.

After being yeeted into another world ,for the second time ,I realize something. Remnant? That sounds familiar. Maybe it's just been a while or I'm hallucinating ,but I swear I've heard of that name before. What was it from? Oh well ,I'll probably remember it later. I've got more important things to do.

After becoming aware that I'm in the wilderness ,again. I start looking around for any signs of humans or other intelligent life. After searching for a bit ,I see a forest. I also spot a slight smoke in the far distance of the trees. Deciding to find someone or something ,I head that way.

(10 Minutes Later)

After taking a leisurely walk ,I find myself in a front of a little walled off village. Well ,walled off is kinda an overstatement. It's more like fenced off ,but you get what I mean. It was probably people. I headed over there and I see some people patrolling around the walls. I walk up on a makeshift path from the forest into the village. The figures of what I assume to be people seem to notice me. Quite the keen sense ,considering I'm far from what a normal human could see. As I keep walking the trees are spread more and less dense. The path also seemed to converge into one whole path. After getting close enough for us to talk ,one of the people stops me. The person in front of me looks about 25 and a normal fit guy that works out every so often. He's gut grey hair and darker grey eyes. I kept observing and notice that he had some horns like a bull and a bull's tail. Wait. Beast man? Is this a fantasy world? After a minute of silence ,he asks me a question.

"What's a human like you doing in our Faunus Village?"

He seemed to be slightly agitated just by seeing me. Racist? Are Humans the minority in this world? No if so why is this village so run-down and small. I mean ,fences? They might have hatred due to discrimination towards them from humans. I wouldn't doubt it.
