Chpter 13

The grip was a fierce and strong one but even so scarlet was being grabbed by the neck, she showed no signs of being scared and just stared down at Mr Bingley. One had to know that Mr Bingley was a able to be one of Doctor Maru's trusted aid wasn't because of Mr Bingley's connection but because he also had thrice the strength of an adult which was a kind of trait he got from his maternal Irish grandfather, and even at present he hadn't received a serum to become a superhuman unlike the others.

"Oh oh, what a surprise seems lie you've grown a lot of confidence for you to come up at me in this manner ait. But let me you something and let it stick to your head, you don't give the orders here and one more thing " he said tightening his grip" even if you tell Doctor maru about this, I don't think it'll change anything "

Mr Bingley after saying this released his Scarlet from his grip and returned back to his sit in a calm and solemn manner, as if the incident that happened now was nothing. Scarlet on the other hand glared at him whole rubbing her seemingly red neck which had grip marks but soon her regenerative ability kicked in and the grip mark soon faded away.

"We'll see about that " she in a cold tone said as she walked out of the office.

Her other team members had already walked away to their base which was located at the third building to the left of the building facility they had just left in other to avoid suspicion of what was going on between their group and Mr Bingley as it was well know that the government had eyes and ears over almost all the entire floor of the building. The building the team members stayed at was a Bungalow with a distinct number four written at top of it.

Striding into the building was scarlet who presented seemed very annoyed at the moment.

" So how did it go?" One of the team members asked with others eyes brightly staring at her expectant of a positive answer.

"Not so good, sigh...he obviously doesn't take us seriously and to make thing much worse it seems like even if Doctor maru knows of this I don't think she would react that much as far as say based on what that son of a bi*ch bingley said " she answered seemingly venting her anger by the way she spoke.

" Huh, so that's how it's going to be " Lucy sighed obviously down after hearing what scarlet it seems that she would have to just go through with whatever sought happened from now on.

Scarlet noticing not only Lucy but the others having the same thoughts of enduring such incidents that might often want to happen continue at a high rate was pretty much obvious.

" Forget it, if worse come to worst we'll all just have to retaliate with all our strength" scarlet comforted while she took off her top jacket and armour leaving her with only a think top shirt on her body while the trousers was left alone on her body. She walked towards the fridge by the corner of the next room which was the dinning table and took out a drink from it while starring outside the window of the room.

" Fuck this " she said as she sipped in the drink in her hands.

Hearing scarlet cuss, the all decided to go give her a space of breather since she had been through quite a lot since the beginning of their operation to go after Klaus and his siblings.

Back at the facility, Klaus was being detached from the ability restricting chair while immediately being tied down to a aluminum board with iron metals.

"Now let's see what your ability is for the dark matter ability chair to cause you such painful reaction" with a fanatic look Doctor Maru along with some other researchers began drawing a large amount of blood from klaus. A syringe made of copper alloy was plunger into his skin, but what happened was what they didn't expect. Immediately the syringe went into his skin, it immediately began to melt as soon as his blood touched it.

They were all at first stunned since this was the first time such thing happened since the establishment of the project in the facility.

" It went it for sure but it melted. This is great " one of the researchers exclaimed in excitement.

"One more, one more, get me another syringe" Doctor Maru reaching another level of excitement shouted wanting to see if what she was thinking was truly what had happened happened . And even so with the request, she placed the just melted syringe into a blue colored chemical inside a beaker. Not wanting the syringe to dry off.

Klaus who at the moment was being experimented on abruptly regained consciousness. The moment he felt a needle like material enter his skin once again he could feel excruciating pains. His lungs felt hot along with his skin getting visibly red. This eye ball scanned around the room his pupils palpated and his head herd ringing sounds from within.

This time the the needle that was used was made of a metal ore which won't be melted under any normal circumstance. The needle plunged into his skin smoothly and blood was drawn out of his body while another was also used to inject a colourless liquid into his body. Klaus felt his whole world wrapping and shaking, he couldn't keep his consciousness after all that was happened and soon enough he fainted while his heart still beating rapidly.

"This is fascinating " Doctor Maru said obsessively look at Klaus blood and the previous needle she had kept in the beaker.

" We'll run the test right away ma'am if you don't mind " one of the Male scientists said holding a recording sheet in his arm containing Klaus every reaction well discripted during the experiment.

"Sure but first run this " she answered stretching forward the jar.

The scientist having receiving her permission began to busy themselves with running the test enthusiastically.
