Feud

Kai is in the basement with Max. Kai is in his suit, and Max is on the computer. Max brings something up on the computer.

Max: I've found a mission.

Kai walks over to the computer.

Max: It's a mutant.

Kai: I'll be back.

Max: Don't forget your com.

Kai: Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Kai travels to the bank where a mutant is at. Kai looks through the window to see a mutant walk out of the back of the bank with bags of cash. He has a blue and white suit on.

Kai: A superhero suit?

The man walks past all the hostages. Cop cars pull up to the bank. The cops get out of their cars with their guns out. They slowly push into the bank. They open the door to the bank and walk in.

Mutant: Just let me leave so I don't have to kill you. We all know you don't do anything.

Owen: Not today!

Mutant: Since we're going to battle you might as well know my name. I am the Ice Machine.

Owen shoots the mutant with a red laser bullet. The mutant drops to one knee after he is hit with the bullet. He looks shocked and in pain.

Owen: That's a taste of your doom!

Owen starts shooting. The Mutant puts up a wall of ice to block him from the shots. Then the mutant starts sending parts of the wall out like chunks of hard ice. They hit the cops and send them back.

Owen: Shields men!

Owen and the rest of his squad take out shields. They are small at first, but when they press a button the shields become almost as big as riot shields. Ice Machines sends flying pieces of ice, but now they have no effect. Owen takes out a radio.

Owen: We're going to need it Ryan.

Ryan: I knew it.

Ryan steps out of the car with a gun that looks like a rocket launcher. He walks through the door of the bank.

Ryan: Boom goes the dynamite!

The gun shoots out a giant laser. It destroys the wall of ice. The mutant is pushed back by the flying ice.

Ryan: Now Owen!

Owen switches his guns mode, and shoots a dart out. The dart sticks into the Mutant. Ice Machine drops down unconscious. Owen walks over and cuffs him. Owen puts his shield and gun away.

Ryan: That's one down.

Owen: Soon to be so many more.

Kai leaves the building. Kai is walking down the stairs to his basement. He hears Max watching the news.

Max: Your useless Kai. You didn't do anything!

Kai: How did you know that?

Max brings out the most recent news clip. It's a clip of the cops Kai saw earlier. They're making a speech.

Owen walks up to the podium.

Owen: Some have been encouraged to believe that us police don't do anything. Well today we have proven you wrong. We took down a Mutant that was trying to rob a bank. The mutant sightings will from here on out start declining because of us cops. Mutants are not allowed to break the laws we have, and they will be punished for doing so. All of them. Thank you.

Owen steps off the podium.

Kai: I don't like the way he phrased that.

Max: Probably because you're a Mutant.

Kai: It seems more of a Mutants vs Humans thing for him. Not a criminal vs abiding citizen.

Max: Less Mutants is always a good thing though.

Kai: Um, what?

Max: Hey, my brothers are Mutants! No racism here, but they usually cause problems.

Kai: Same for you white people, but you don't want black people to say you cause problems.

Max: Low blow. Mutants are just different. They have powers so they can cause more trouble than anyone else.

Kai: Yeah, and now the cops can take them down.

Max: They could take down one. What if there is a group?

Kai: Hire Mutants.

Max: Exactly! You need Mutants to deal with Mutants. They just cause problems.

Kai: I'm not getting into politics with you! The Mutants are here. We either have to do something about it or cause a mass genocide. Which one would you do?

Max: They're both equally as bad.

Kai: I'm not sure I agree.

Max: Be that way.

Kai: How the hell are you going to talk to me like this in my own house?! You want to be mad about Mutants than you can leave.

Max: This is my house. I have a bed.

Max points to the cot he set up on the floor.

Kai: Take your cot with you!

Max: No!

Max gets up and leaves.

Kai: Some people.

Kai starts walking up the stairs. Remi is in here chair rolling around while looking at her board. The board has pins on it and markers showing all the mutant attacks recently.

Remi: I feel like there is something here.

Remi looks at her cat.

Remi: Do you know?

The cat meows.

Remi: I had a feeling you might say that.

Remi picks up the cat and puts it on her lap. She starts petting the cat and the cat purrs.

Remi: I need more information.

Kai wakes up in his bed.

Kai: What to do today?

Kai goes downstairs and starts making breakfast. He sits on his couch eating his breakfast. The tv goes to commercials.

Kai: Oh yeah, today is the day I have to go and start to film the commercial. I should probably go get ready.

Kai walks upstairs. Later Kai leaves the house. Max sneaks inside the house, and down into the basement.

Max: Kai's not stopping me from using my room.

Max turns on the computer downstairs. He starts searching around.

Max: Lets see what the camera has caught.

Max switches around cameras. He sees flashes of black on his screen as a group runs past the camera.

Max: I've seen them before. Who are they?

Max starts switching cameras. He keeps seeing the black flashes come across the screen.

Max: If only they would slow down.

What Max saw on the black and white cameras are running across rooftops. They all have black cloaks on covering themselves. A dog is running alongside one of the group members. There are three women and three men.

???: Those cameras are watching us. You think we're gaining fans?

???: Shut up Fever.

Fever: Calm down. Don't get your panties in a twist. Guru, get your dog to smell the target.

Guru: My dog is the best! Of course he has the scent! We're getting close.

Fever: D.A, scout ahead.

D.A nods. He jumps down from the rooftop.

Fever: Jackal, go with him.

Jackal: But he's so boring.

Fever: You have the scent. You can tell D.A where to go if he gets lost.

Jackal sighs and hops down off the rooftop to follow D.A.

Guru: We're here!

They stop on the edge of the roof. They look down at the building. They see D.A sneak inside the building. Jackal climbs onto the roof.

Fever: I thought I said stick with him.

Jackal: He knows where it is. I'm bad with stealth anyway!

Fever: Fine. Datura, you are ready for when he gives the signal.

Datura: I'm always ready Fever.

Fever: That's my girl.

Jackal: I thought I was your girl.

Fever: You would be wrong.

A blade comes through the wall of the building. Then the blade is pulled out of the wall.

Fever: That's the signal.

Datura: I'm on it.

Datura moves her hands. The wall where D.A is comes crumbling down. D.A puts his sword away and climbs up the building.

Fever: How did it go?

D.A gives Fever a thumbs up.

Fever: That's my man! Let's get out of here.

They all start running off. Max sees the black flashes again.

Max: Did they just turn around? What the hell is going on with this.

Max pulls up a map with all the locations of the cameras that the black flashes appeared on.

Max: I think this is just the start of something.

Kai comes down the stairs.

Kai: Max, why?

Max: I was being nice about it and only using my room when you're gone.

Kai: You're just making me angrier honestly. Get out of my house.

Max: Fine.

Max starts walking away.

Kai: And take your damn cot!

Max: No!
