Taking back what's mine

"Now I am taking back what is rightfully mine!" Shadow Cat Spoke with confidence leaving Michael shocked by his actions. He knew his half brother would most likely hate him for not saving his girlfriend when he had the chance but never in his life had he thought it would get as far as to try to take leadership off him like that. Shadow Cat was pushing it and Michael was not going to allow it. Not anymore.

Michael knew he made the right choice, he knew that Shadow Cat would hate him for now but then he would go back to being the best assassin in the gang, he would no longer had to think of anyone else and he would be as committed to the gang as before. It is true he feels bad knowing Marie was pregnant which is something that was news to him but two lives instead of many seemed like the right choice. Even if it was losing them to his worst enemy.

The present members of the United Devils all gathered around the two man forming a circle upon hearing Shadow Cat's words. They were aware of what was to come. They would either keep their leader or have a new one but one thing was certain there was a fight coming soon.

At that moment Michael had, had enough. He decided it was time to prove everyone and most importantly Shadow Cat that they were wrong about him. He would show them what he was made off, he would show them all.

"You can't just come here and take what you want, that's not how this works and you better than anyone know that" Michael replied standing up straight showing confidence and strength. No one ever stood up to the black cat Michael had always been the first. Which Shadow Cat silently respected. It another reason why he had made him leader.

Shadow Cat gave Michael a smug smile before retorting fearlessly "well if it's a fight to the death that you want then it's a fight to the death you'll get."

Michael smiled, more like evilly smirked, he had no doubt in his mind that he was soon to surprise his dear half brother Shadow Cat. In fact he had been watching him closely. He had studied his moves, his skills, his reactions, and recognized his flaws. Michael was ready but Shadow was not the least bit afraid, he had been trained his whole life for this, he had developed new moves, and he had tricks up his sleeves no one else knew about.

More than that Shadow was angry, he couldn't wait to teach Michael that he couldn't disrespect his princess. Shadow will take back his gang, he would save his princess, and then he would marry her, take her to the states and finally have a family and no one and nothing will stop him. Seeing his princess soon was all the motivation he needed.

The gang members stood around them in silence. As much as they hated fights amongst themselves rules were rules. A leader may be challenged by another for full ownership of the gang. A fight to the death, the fight end when there is only one man standing.

The two man stood in the center glaring at each other ready to fight. Michael was usually one to make a move first, he didn't fight often being the leader but when he did he like to get to it and end it fast, but this time, this time he waited. He knew Shadow Cat was always the smart one but that was until he made the dumb mistake in falling in love. This would be his downfall. Michael knew Shadow was eager to save his lover so patience was no longer his fort and that would be his first mistake.

As predicted by Michael, Shadow Cat quickly got impatient and was quick to swing first. He held his fist up as he tried to connect with Michael's face but Michael dodge it without so much as breaking a sweat. Michael ducked down and was quick to retort swinging forcefully and connecting to Shadow's cheek.

For a second Michael believed his hit was strong enough to send Shadow Cat to ground or on his knees but was surprised when Shadow was not at all shaken as he returned the hit, his elbow connecting to Michaels nose making his eyes water but not enough for stopping him to continue fighting. Michael had surely underestimated his brother's strength.

Shadow tried following it by doing a 180 degree spin and throwing a wild hit towards Michael's face but Michael jerked back, aside. The blow was meant for his jaw but he was able to see it coming and proceeded by a crushing blow to Shadow's midsection. The blow connected to Shadow's rib cage causing him to feel a sharp sting spread through his body fast.

"How the hell does he see it coming?"
