Finding Katy

-Michael's POV-

I limped out of the room with the help of Jimmy in search of Shadow. Not knowing which way to go Jimmy and I walked into a room that looked almost like a library. As we entered we were met with more members of the Kyojin. Luckily this time I was not alone. Jimmy and I immediately got back to back making sure we could cover every angle.

"Well, well, well what do we have here?" A voice asked coming out from behind a shelf. "If it isn't the want to be leader of the United Devils and his bitch!" Sam! This was the asshole that almost killed Alice that day.

Sam Parks best known by the Kyojin as The killer. Their best soldier, the man who holds the 4th largest death records in Canada Shadow Cat taking number one. I have wanted to lay my hands on him since that day he almost killed Alice. "Ready to meet your doom?" He asked with a smirk. "Are you?" I respond. "On the count of three" I say earning a smirk from him.

"Fine!" Normally I would follow the rules but today, today is about revenge. He is either smart enough to know better or dumb enough to think that after what he has done I will give him the full count.

I press my back against Jimmy so that he understood the signal I was sending and he responded the same. He understood and was ready. "One" and both Jimmy and I fired our weapons not waiting for another count. Three of the four man dropped dead on the floor with bullet holes in their head but I had a different plan for Sam.

I shot him on the arm that held the gun making it drop to the ground and then shot him twice. One bullet in each leg. I watched as he dropped down and screamed in pain. At that second Chris runs through the door.

"Chris tie him up and take him to the warehouse. Alice would love it if this one was still alive just for her." I looked at Sam who seemed to be in surprised at the sound of Alice's name. Soon after he passed out. Following orders Chris took lifted Sam and placed him on his shoulder and carried him out. Watching as Chris walked out my eye caught sight of something moving in the shadows behind a desk.

"Jimmy 11 O'clock" I whispered. Jimmy was quick to shoot. He didn't want to kill the person but he wanted to get close enough to scare them. The bullet hit the desk right beside the cheek of the person. "Please don't kill me!" A girl shouted. Her voice cracked and fear was evident in her voice. "Come out now or next time we won't miss." I ordered. "Okay b-but please d-don't shoot me." The female responded while coming out from behind the desk.

Out from behind the desk came out a young and frightened young woman. As I looked at her I gasped noticing all the fresh bruises and cuts on her skin and face. Her left out was almost completely swollen shut, cuts and bruises on the side of her lips and cheeks, and a horrible bruise around her neck. I was sure someone had taken the time to beat and mark her purposely. "What's your name?" I ask the woman in front of us.

She placed her arms around as if she was hugging herself. She looked so afraid, and hurt I felt bad for her. I was sure she was harmless but neither Jimmy not I put our weapons down. If there is one thing I learned the hard way it was to trust no one no matter how harmless they looked. "K-Katy my name is Katy" she responded.

Oh my god we found her, this was the girl that saved Marie, the one she wanted us to save. "The one who helped Marie?" I asked and she nodded. I smiled, I was happy we found one of the girls we still got to find Marie. "Come on Shadow Cat wants you safe" I spoke confidently. Even with all the cuts and bruises she really is beautiful kind of reminds me of my mother. Weird right?

-3rd Person POV-

"W-what?" The girl stammered "Shadow wants me safe? Why?" She questioned nervously. "Marie asked that of him and he is very grateful for what you have done for her. You did save the life of the woman he loves. Now please let's go we have to find Marie." Michael responded earning a nod from the girl and Jimmy proceeding to help him out of the room.

As the two men and woman are walking out of the room a scream was heard. Michael turned to look at Katy as he heard her gasp and breath hitched "MARIE" she yells as she runs out of the room towards the hallway were the screams were heard coming from. Coming closer to the scream they found themselves in a hallway that held about 10 rooms.

Not waiting any time jimmy kicked open the first door finding the room empty. As he did Michael shot the door knob to the following door and searched that room finding that one also empty. As they were about to head to the thirds door we hear a loud yell. Shadow! Oh no Michael thought as he recognized the voice was a bit different the voice more deeper than usual. Right away he knew what had happened. Shadow lost control.

"Jimmy move that's Shadow Cat, fuck he lost control. Lets go we got to help him we don't have much time." Michael called out as he looked down at his watch. Jimmy ran past a limping Michael and stops as he reaches a room with wooden floors. We walks in to see Shadow Cat clawing the chest of a man who was hard to identify due to all the blood on his face. Shadow Cat was like a machine with no ending cycle clawing away with nothing to stop him.

Jimmy had seen this before, Shadow Cat lost control, and now no one is safe.
