Bringing him back

Jimmy stopped by the door afraid to get too close. "Shadow Cat" he yells but it seemed to go unheard. He know he has to stop him, he knows he has to get closer but he was too scared to do it. He knew that when Shadow Cat loses control he blacks out and cant stop killing. No matter what, no matter who Shadow kills everything and everyone and he is not able to stop until either everyone is dead or he gets tired, which he hardly does. He had to think, what could he do to stop this?

Just that second Michael limped into the room with Katy on his side. Katy gasped and covered her mouth as her eyes landed on Shadow Cat and her half dead ex boyfriend. That's right Katy recognized Randy due to his clothing and ring. She had gave them that ring on their first year anniversary.

"What are you standing there for do something?" Michael yelled at Jimmy "We need him alive if we want to find Marie" I continued. "He lost control Mike, you know if we get close he will kill us all." Becoming distracted as yelled at each other they failed to notice Katy making a move.

Katy could not just stand there and watch them argue while Randy was being killed. Yes it was true Randy hurt her and of course she was still leaving him but deep inside she still loved him greatly and she couldn't watch him die. Making a move Katy ran towards Shadow and pushed him off Randy. "Stop!" she yelled as she stood in front of Randy's fallen body with her hands up trying to guard him.

Upon hearing Katy's voice both Michael and Jimmy stopped arguing and looked towards Katy signaling Shadow Cat to stop. Michael widened his eyes upon seeing a brave Katy attempting to stop the great Shadow Cat. "Fuck!" Michael whispered attempting to walk silently towards them. If he know Shadow Cat like he thought he did he would attack her for intervening. He was scared for her life. He knew this would not end well.

"Please stop this. I know he deserves to die but we need him, I need him." Katy spoke nervously as tears ran down her cheeks. Shadow Cat got up and walked towards her in anger. Before Katy could say anything else Shadow had her by the neck and lifted her body up in the air, her feet no longer touching the ground. Michael tried to hurry towards Shadow Cat. He had do something to bring Shadow Cat back before he did something he would end up regretting later.

Michael decided to run towards Shadow Cat trying to disregard the pain shooting up from his thigh and reaching his entire leg. He knew that nothing he could say could bring Shadow Cat back but maybe if he mentioned his love it would. Either the love Shadow feels for Marie would bring him back or Michael would be killed by his brother for getting involved but it was a risk he was willing to take.

Michael placed his hand on Shadow's shoulder and spoke quickly before Shadow could attack him. "Shadow let Katy go, Marie wouldn't forgive you if you hurt her friend. Remember Marie the woman you love and the reason we are here, come back to us so we can save her." Michael could see Shadow Cat loosing the grip on Katy's neck.

"That girl you got there is Katy, she is the one who saved Marie before remember? Marie asked you to save her. She trusts you to keep your promise, you promised her you wouldn't loose control. Please try to remember. Marie would never forgive you if you do this. Come back to us. You can do it."

Shadow Cat struggled as he began to place Katy down to the ground. She was now standing, but he had not let go of her neck yet. Katy began to switch colors, she was no longer getting air in her lungs. In a matter of seconds she would be passed out or dead.

"Shadow please think of Marie, she loves you, you love her, and she is waiting on you to rescue her and her friend. The girl you got right there. The one who saved Marie for you. Who gave her the phone to call you. Please let Katy go, For Marie" Michael spoke softly removing his hand of Shadow Cat's shoulder.

Shadow Cat shut his eyes tightly at the mention of Marie's name reality started to slowly kick in. "You can change" he heard Marie's voice. "I know you can. Please don't do this you can be good. At least try, for me." Marie trusted him. She knew he could do it, she always told him he could control himself. "Cat we have to help her" once again Shadow heard Marie's voice again.

Before no one, not even himself could ever bring him back after losing control but ever since Marie walked into his life things took a turn for the best. His angel, his princess, her and his love for her has the power to bring him back to the real world. He wanted Marie, he needed her, and now he could take control back for her. A tear rolled down Shadow's Cheek ad he let go of Katy.

Katy dropped to the floor and gasped for air. Meanwhile Shadow Cat began to open his eyes slowly. As they opened wide both Michael and Katy noticed they begun to change back. Started with a speck of Hazel and then proceeding to change entirely back to their original state. Michael smiled feeling pride on both himself and his brother. Katy sat in shock as she took in how Shadows appearance changed entirely. Never in her life had she seen this happen before. This was unbelievable, so unreal.

"How?" she whispered but Michael overheard her. "No one knows, he can't even explain it himself. We have looked into it but we have found no explanation." Katy looked at Shadow Cat in shock. There was not way this could be human but one thing was certain only Marie had the power to bring him back. Katy smiled at how real the love between Marie and Shadow Cat was. If only she could have something like that as well.

"Marie" Shadow Cat breathed out finally coming back to his senses.
