Returning to Boho (Part 2)

"Captain!"

Rigo shouted as he runs towards the captain who was been thrown before the orc finally loses its life. Rai rushed to his aid.

"Sanar!"

There were only five orcs left including the strongest one who's currently battling with Agor.

"Kaaaghh!"

Two orcs exchange on their attacks towards Agor. The protection cast on him is getting weaker. But it doesn't matter. Agor has to finish the strongest on for them to be able to move on from the battle.

"Rigo! Please assist me."

The mage started to cast the spell again. A flare of light radiated from Agor's chest where Rigo aimed his magic. It was a protective shield that would last up to ten minutes.

The strongest orc noticed that Agor has the weakest mana and aura. It couldn't suppress its overweening sniggering and looked at him arrogantly.

Seeing the captain has recovered from the impact after being thrown, his hands trembled and his sword shivered. Agor turned to Blair as if saying something through his eyes.

The orc has started to put its guard down and walked idly approaching Agor. The latter stepped back noticeably. The four orcs came moving in the same direction and their brassy roaring significantly taken Agor aback.

The hubristic orcs came rushing—cowards who dominate the lone and weak.

"I thought they are intelligent and strong… but they are nothing—just some monsters who are driven by their bloodlust."

Agor thought to himself while keeping inconspicuous with his actions—crouched a little and relaxed his broad shoulders; tugged his sword slowly to his right, fidgeted the handle, and reversed his grip. Now, his sword point is evidently targeting an area on the ground.

Unbeknownst to the strongest orc, 'you monsters, indeed took the bait…' Agor thought to himself and displayed a grim face with dominating wry smile.

When others saw the unexpected scene, they were all confounded and even scared.

"That smile gave me goosebumps until now. The deadpan Agor was way better."

Wilo rubbed his upper arms and hugged himself.

"He's scarier than I ever thought—nightmares are real…"

Rai cringed.

"It was an amazing scene; I want to be eaten by the orcs."

Rigo brushed his brown hair up and sighed impassively on his sarcasm.

Agor doesn't have to be in haste; he just has to strike the right area to trigger the trap. As if truly mocking the monsters, he leisurely thrust his sword on the ground.

It was too late. The strongest orc tried its best to avoid the magic circle but it was a waste.

Agor acted like he was trembling in fear knowing he will be feasted by the orcs and the latter succumbed to the play. He demonstrably requested Rigo's protection to prompt the orcs that he couldn't last alone. He used the situation to deceive them and let their guards down. Time is of the essence—Blair was able to create the magic circle on time to trap the orcs once they have approached Agor. The magic circle might not be big enough to fit all five orcs but it was strong enough to suppress their attacks.

Wilo nonchalantly cast its spell and directed it to the separated orc.

"Fuego… huelga."

A powerful projectile—a single string of fire—hit the orc's core. It was a clean attack that no blood sputtered from the body.

While they are unprepared, that was the best time to attack.

Rigo punched the orc just above its solar plexus and it puked a green slimy and disgusting mucus. The region Rigo punched exploded, spewing green liquid.

Rai released her arrow attacks and hit two of the orcs at once. Only one was left—the haughty orc that was once again glaring daggers at Rai.

"Kyaaaahhh!"

Rai ran fast and hid behind the voluptuous Blair.

"Drat that orc! Kill him fast, Agor! Kill him… kill him."

"Hey, orc! I'm your opponent and not her."

Agor drew his sword. The orc was fast in contrary to its size. Though it was seized in the magic circle, he could still control his movements—proved him the strongest. The magic circle suppresses the enemies and makes the allies stronger.

"Kaaaaghh!"

The orc raised its sword and landed a hit on Agor. The protective spell is still active and he got a shallow wound on his arm.

"You missed…"

The orc emitted powerful mana that pushed Agor outside the magic circle. It's getting weaker as Blair used a lot of mana in creating it and at the same time, she's indirectly fighting and supporting in the battlefield. They couldn't manipulate the situation in their favor now.

The captain who has fully recovered and is able to move his arm attacked from behind. But the orc sensed his coming. It stomped its right foot creating a vibrating pulse on the ground and made everyone fall on their feet.

"I'm getting exhausted, orc. Let's finish this once and for all."

Agor, powered by his annoyance towards the orc, leveled up his agility and overpowered the orc's nimbleness. His eyes are now noticeably fired up and his face was tensed.

"It's fast but because it only aims for my death. It is getting thoughtless on its attacks. Simple and obvious defenses will just keep his guard up thinking it might be deceived once again. Once I see an opening, I have to distract it."

A flash of light passed through Agor and the orc. Agor noticed the orc's eyes moved a little and used that instance to further create an opening from his side since the orc wouldn't budge.

"My chance to get hit by it will be a perfect bait. Proper timing…"

The flashes continued behind Agor. He was to duck and receive a powerful blow from the orc—the flashes of light began to become intense and blinded the orc.

"Now is the time."

Agor powerfully thrust his sword just above the orc's solar plexus. The orc's earsplitting and full of eerie's agony was heard all over the place.

Agor felt too exhausted and fell asleep on top of the orc's body. He bathed in the green slimy and foul blood of the strongest orc which he defeated.
