A lecture free day

Nancy sighed for the umpteenth time pacing up and down in the parking lot while checking her wristwatch it's past 7 and Anne is yet to arrive

'arrrrrrghhh I'm really going to behead that little rat today'

A car honk from a black SUV startled her making her to almost loose her balance.

Anne hopped out of the car after collecting her things and ran toward her best friend

" Oh my pretty goddess I'm so sorry I kept you waiting had a flat tire on my way" Anne said hugging her tightly.

"Oh you little rat you shall not be forgiving for you have sinned against your goddess...now let go to the class" Nancy said as she tried to grab Anne's wrist

" no way goddess you have to forgive me or else I'm not leaving" Anne said looking at her with a puppy eyes

" dear lord what have I done to deserve this girl as a punishment" Nancy said pinching the bridge of her nose making Anne to laugh out loud

"fine my little slave you are forgiven... Now to the class" Nancy said turning towards their class hall. Anne shook her head with a smile on her face before jogging toward her friend

"hey isn't that the class pres" Nancy asked Anne who was busy with her phone

"..."

"I guess I'm talking to someone"

"wait! what? Where you saying something?"

"arrrrggghhhh never mind"

"hey Mr pres!" she called out to him waving her hand so he can see her. The two ran towards him. Panting heavily like someone who just ran a marathon race

"hey where are you off to when the class is going on" she asked sarcastically after catching her breath

"what exactly do you dk with your phones" he asked with the same sarcasm in his tone not minding to answer his question. Nancy only glared at him before checking her bag for her phone

"yay... It's a lecture free day!" Anne squealed with excitement

"no way!"

"yes way" Ben and Anne said in unison and bursting in to a laughter

" Oh my beauty sleep.. I can't believe my morning have been wasted"

"it's never too late to go back and have your beauty sleep" Ben said turning to leave

"but what's the occasion though?" Anne asked

"a so called great philosopher is here to give lecture and no one wants to miss it. even your precious geek is already in the hall" Ben answered uninterested

"Oh my goodness" Nancy said faking a cry

"enough of it drama queen we all know you hate it school and you are very happy there will be no class today... So how about we go have fun?" Anne said dragging Nancy by the arm

"really? Oh my you are the best! You can play the role of the pretty goddess I'll be the slave" Nancy said with excitement before jumping into the passenger seat

"Oh my I won't drive get down and take the keys"

"no way baby you are driving" Nancy said grinning from ear to ear

"urrrgghh whatever" Anne said before getting into the driver's seat and fastened her seat belt.
